Very nice clean park by the river, beautiful fall colors and tables to eat. Great for a afternoon picnic.

Beautiful park along river, aprx 0.5 MI road through a canopy of trees. Has shelter area, playground, lots of open space with a beautiful view.

Well kept, grass was mowed, playground was clean.

My husband and I visit Loomis Park frequently. We possibly spend 100 hours a year there. We enjoy the outdoors and fish almost every time. We have caught the biggest channel catfish there. Bigger than any other in the surrounding area. Its A sleeper spot where you can a get fish. Anytime of the day.

Loomis was is a great place to take the family... W the river n the play gym... Was an awesome place...

It is one of my favorite local parks. Great for birding.

I wish I would have taken pictures of this they need about probly 700 yd of concrete to get the boat ramp back down to the water I have to add though the Park is clean and the Des Moines river has changed through that stretch maybe no getting boats on it there I did put in on the East Side South of Loomis about probly 2 miles

Very nice park to take my kids to. Not very busy during lunchtime and the people passing by are friendly.
