Timmi is the absolute best ever, she made our friends birthday the best ever!! We have never laughed so hard and want to go back all of the time because of her, my daughter came home tonight with the biggest smile on her face talking about how much fun she had bowling, I asked her if Timmi was the one helping her and she said yes and that she wants to go back all of the time because of her haha. Even if you don’t like bowling and laser tag, just being around Timmi is all the fun you need

It was my bday on 10/26/2020 and we went to chippers for bowling originally then later found out from a worker there Timi that there was laser tag! I didnt even know there was laser tag. Timi was extremely accommodating and the onion rings were delicious!

Great job with CDC guidelines... felt very safe! Service was good. Lanes were oiled 100% which isnt good for a serious bowler. But really cant complain, Im happy to be out n about!

We went to Chipper Saturday afternoon to bowl with another couple. I can say we had a blast and the Chippers staff took great care of us! Becca, our lane host, was so fun and accommodating! She made sure we had a great selection of bowling balls and handled all of the food and drinks. I was very impressed with the covid protocols and sanitation processes in place. We cant wait to return!

My family always has the best time here. Our last visit was by far the best. I truly appreciate the woman who was in charge if the arcade games and laser tag. Unfortunately, I wasnt able to get her name but she rocks! My boys enjoyed her enthusiasm. Thank you to all the staff, you are are wonderful.

Called Saturday for unlimited bowling was told by the front that we could 2 lanes and have 3 people each on them. We end up getting to the lanes and then they said 4 per lane so we ended up not doing unlimited. Then next order food got a pitcher of doctor pepper and some food brings the food out before pitched I remind them said she would go get it and proceeded to go over to the counter and start talking to all of her do workers and sit on her phone and then we asked another girl and she did it

Reserved a lane online in advance (recommended!). Very easy process in staying socially distant, as the employees brought everything we needed to our lane and took food orders from the lane as well! And, Kids Bowl Free is the best! I wasnt able to sign up online before we went, but they honored the deal and explained to me how to register for future visits. All-around fun!

My family and I had an awesome time. Staff was extremely friendly. The food we had, for the most part, was pretty good. One of our pizzas didnt seem cooked fully so the dough seemed a little under cooked. Glad to be supporting a locally owned business.

My son and I have bowled here several times. The staff are enthusiastic and remember us when we come in! They have closed every other lane now due to COVID but it was slow when we were there on Sunday afternoon so they gave us even more room between groups. The balls had just been disinfected as the finger holes were still wet. They bring your shoes in a bin right to your alley and you leave them there when youre done. Plus, the manager brought us a pitcher of water to enjoy while we bowled. I highly recommend this establishment! Its always a great and fun experience!

First off, our server Becca was amazing! We could not have asked for a happier or more attentive server. She was amazing!!!!! Thank you Becca. Second off. The bartender Kerry was also amazing! We felt more with Becca when it came to food and bowling and as you can imagine the adults hit the bar, lol. Kerry was fast, polite, professional and very easy to talk to. We will definitely return thanks to those two ladies.

So happy that Chippers has opened back up since the crazy pandemic. Our family has been bowling 3 times since theyve reopened and everything is super clean, safe, and fun. Special shout out to Sue for makings sure that things are right, Kerry for taking care of us from the bar when shes not counting inventory :), and Dane for being the friendly face to get us set up. Keep up the good work!

We had such great fun here. Its your average home town bowling alley and I find that comforting in the bustle of 2020. Its also clean and stocked with a good number of each pound ball.

We had a group of 35 people, coworkers and friends, join for a planned night of bowling. This was our sixth year doing the event at Chippers Horse-tooth and we had another excellent time. They put our lanes on the bar side to make it that much more fun. I worked with Shauna Gray to pre-plan and everything went smoothly. No issues, friendly staff. Shauna is excellent. We will back back again next year for the same event.

Good bowling alley, but terrible pro shop, they can sell you a ball, but they have no one to drill it. Which is kind of ridiculous, might as well not have a pro shop in the first place.

I was visiting the area with family and needed a weekend activity. Was a pit pricey but otherwise a great time. Nice staff, clean facility. Small bar and concession area. Also in the building, laser tag and a coin arcade. Family approved fun.

They are doing a really good job making things work with all the regulations of COVID-19

Had a family day with my kiddos here and had the BEST time. One of the employees was so amazing it made the evening. I believe her name was Anna. She was so helpful with my younger kids first bowling experience. She helped us get bumpers and even suggested a ball for my oldest (age 8). We will 100% come back!

My kids bowl in both Junior Leagues at Chippers. They have wonderful coaches to help improve their bowling skills. While enjoying bowling, they are also earning college scholarship money. If you have a child that likes to bowl, Chippers is the place to be!

We had a large group here so we reserved some lanes which included shoe rentals and some food. The staff was great to work with and they took care of us. Great place for bowling & arcade. Family friendly - also includes a pool table and bar.

Had a blast on my first visit to Chippers Horsetooth Lanes since Ive returned for school this semester. The new Unlimited bowling special starting at 9pm is a steal. The gentleman working the desk, his name was Campbell, has exceptional customer service and is also quite funny. My friends and I will be coming back to bowl, drink, and visit with the staff all semester long! Thanks for the sweet spot Chippers!

I had my sons birthday party here, it was the best. The party host Becca was the best! She makes all the kids feel so special and is so patient with all kids. The entire staff are great people and so helpful. The food was wonderful, Halle was in the cafe and the food was so yummy!

It was a very fun experience visiting this location! I brought a group of my cousins ranging in ages to the arcade section, where it was easy and fun to use. The kids had a really good time and were happy with the range of game choices. We also enjoyed a great game of laser tag. The staff of the arcade and laser tag were very accommodating and great with the kids! We have also been here for bowling with family and friends including a wheelchair accessible member, and staff was very friendly and accommodating then as well! Would definitely recommend for a fun and easy going night out !

Our school hosted a Bowling Night fundraiser for one of our other peer support events and Chippers was more than generous and helpful. The event ran smoothly, the workers were nice, and the place was clean and the perfect setting for our large group. Highly recommend.

Kerri was ABSOLUTELY, without a DOUBT... the Best a bar tendee Can get, in terms of service. She’s the best bartender I’ve had. Chippers is a laid back bowling center with lazer tag and a small arcade. The staff there is always courteous. I would recommend this place for recreational bowlers on the weekends.

Carrie is the BEST! I’m visiting from Hawaii, my brother and his roomie are with me and they always come here. They recommended this spot instead of the other one because Carrie is a great barkeep and isn’t just a servicewoman, she’s a damn entertainer! If I lived here I’d be coming here with these clowns! Y’all have a decent selection of brews and a good atmosphere.On the real, I really respect service people that make sure to check in on the clientele. It goes a long way for me, it shows that she’s not here just for a paycheck. She’s here to make me feel welcome and to recommend product for me to try.She’s great, makes this entire establishment better! I haven’t bowled yet, so I can’t comment on that.All I’ve done is sit here and drink a few beers and enjoy the TV.

We had our employee holiday party at Chippers and it was a blast! Everything was set up and ready for our group. It was fun and easy and they were very helpful and easy to work with. Great pizza!!

We had a great time bowling and playing laser tag. We had a decent size group of adults, about 8, and a group of 4 young like 5 to 6 yr old kids wanted to play laser tag (it was a sunday afternoon after all). They put them with us which honestly wasnt a big deal at all. But the manager said it we wanted to play another game it was on her since we had to wait and play with kids. That was so unexpected and so nice. It was my first time playing laser tag there and what a cool place. The area is huge and has 2 levels. Had such a super fun time :)

Bowled here for the first time a few days ago. It was a nice experience. 5 stars for their laser tag as it was really fun. The lady that helped us was awesome as well. Definitely recommend doing the laser tag.

Kerry was super slammed when I came in. However right when I stood next to the bar my order was promptly being taken and I had a drink in my hand within seconds! Cheers to Kerry and her awesome personality.

In the states visiting some family for a long overdue holiday. Havent been bowling since my favorite alley in Killarney closed a few years back. The lanes were incredibly well maintained and i bowled the best i have bowled in longer than a decade! The young lad working the desk, I believe his name tag read Campbell, was incredibly kind and very professional. When youre here, try the fries! Fantastic! All in all it was a great experience fueled by great staff and falling pins!

Best breakfast sandwich in town

My friend group and I went on a Saturday night. It wasn’t busy at all. It was $50 for 90 minutes of bowling. So split four ways, with shoes it came out to be about $17 per person. We honestly had a good time and got through one game and we were almost finished with our second game before we ran out of time. Unfortunately this is why I was disappointed with the service, because as I mentioned earlier the bowling alley was not busy at all, in fact almost all the lanes were open and there was no one waiting to bowl. Initially one of the workers offered to extend our game 5 minutes so we could simply finish and see who would have won the last game. However, the manager refused which seemed pretty greedy and just rude. They expected us to pay for an extra time slot to just finish a game that could have been completed in 5 minutes. Had they been extremely busy and people been waiting I would have understood. But like I mentioned almost all of the lanes were open and no one was waiting to play. In my opinion this displayed poor customer service and made it seem like they didn’t care whether their customers enjoyed their experience or not. So we ended up having to leave without being able to finish the last game and while we still had a fun time it could have been that much better if the customer service was better.

I hosted an event for the College of Engineering at Chippers and they were great! Wonderful, personalized service - right down to setting up space for us to have pizza and chips/salsa with green and gold table clothes. Thank you so much Chippers!

Bowling was really fun here but the real treat was Gabby! She was so kind and charming. She made sure all our needs were cared for and truly made the experience impeccable. I’ll be returning for sure!

I love coming here and bowling, Kerry the beautiful server is amazing and handles me and my friends food and drink orders like a true professional. This is my favorite bowling alley, the arcade is awesome, i just wish i could get Kerry to play video games with me but she is always too busy working hard and providing amazing customer service.

This place is a great experience for family and friends to go to. I attended for bowling and lazer tag and the employees were so helpful. One of the employees gave me their name because I asked for it because my experience was so great. Her name was Sue and she had a stand up attitude. Definitely will be there again.

Chipper’s Lanes is and always will be a favorite hangout for me and my friends. We come here about every other weekend and love it. Staff are great and very helpful, and everything is in great condition!

A lot of fun

Fun, completely relaxing atmosphere. Wish the music was a tad bit louder. Didnt know Friday and Saturday were pay by the hour and $49.95 seems VERY expensive for 90 minutes of entertainment but we had a great time. It was definitely a mix of the beer and the company but damnit if I wouldnt pay it again, it was that much fun.

Took a group of workmates there for an outing and scheduled a couple of lanes in advance and food as well. Price was good, staff was nice and the bar had a nice selection of beers. Hit Happy hour there so the drinks were less as well. Everyone had a good time. Would do again,.

Great staff!! My niece and her friend had so much fun and Timothy was so wonderful with them - excited to see them make strikes and played with them while they played arcade games! She really went above and beyond!!

Had a party here a few weeks ago. Staff was great, food was prepared fast and tasted great. One of the kiddos hit his head in laser tag but luckily a girl named gabby was there to help. she grabbed him an ice pack and the manager Dane was quick to make sure everything was okay as well.

Chippers Lane is the best place to have a company party we have our Christmas party there every year and they take the best care of us. Food is delicious for feeding 200 people

Staff is fine but management needs to rethink their policies. Charging peak pricing for all of winter and spring breaks when it is not even busy. Id understand if it was crazy busy but gouging regulars is awful. Also, they do NOT accept free game cards during these times either.Lastly, they do have a better variety of balls at this one than other locations.

Same old place for a VERY long time.

We went to the pro shop here. The guy who runs it was the nicest guy. He drilled my new ball. He gave us a great price and did it really quickly, even though he was super busy. He also gave me some really good tips and helped me learn a lot more about the game. I’ll definitely come back just because of him.

Love this place! So grateful they host sand volleyball leagues! Bartender Kari is my favorite! See her whenever humanly possible.

My company just had an employee appreciation party at Chippers Lanes a few weekends ago where we rented out the entire facility and they provided food. Everyone had a great time and Shauna was awesome to work with!

I have been bowling at Chippers Lanes on horsetooth, since before it was owned by Chippers! This is the best these lanes have been maintained in years. New bowling pins this season, a consistent shot, and great staff make this the #1 spot in northern Colorado for bowling. If bowling isnt your things thats okay! They have a fantastic arcade and a recently re furnished bar. All around great place to spend a few hours with the family. Sue Livingston the GM and her fellow assistant managers lead a fantastic team of staff that will offer you the best customer service around. Go to Chippers on horsetooth, you wont regret it!

Ive been bowling here at chippers for nearly 40 years now. From the time I was a small boy to the current, nothing much has changed. The food is that good ole greasy that I always love and the staff are as friendly as ever. Special thanks to Dane and gabby for bringing youthfulness into the bowling alley and reminding me of when I was young.

I am from europe and the alleys there are nothing compared to this one that we came to today. Dane was an excellent chap and anna was exceptionally helpful.

Just finished off another great night at Chippers. Austin, the new manager delved into the game modes included in the laser tag arena - game modes I never even knew existed. Zombies! Who knew?!Worth every penny.

Bowling was great and we even got to try out the arcade, the arcade is pretty small but there are some good games. Laser tag was great and to top it all off this one worker gave us a bunch of free prizes for my friends birthday. It was a blast! :)

Its decently affordable and fun! Their drinks and food arent bad, but they should organize their bowling balls!!

This is the friendliest bowling alley around!! The staff is great and they have very humbling bartenders.

Came here on a Saturday night assuming they would actually be open til 2 as it’s listed. Got here about 12:00am. Played maybe 3 rounds of bowling. We were the only people bowling and a big group of 20+ people came in and the girl at the counter decided to put them right next to us instead of the other available 30 lanes. So we stopped our bowling at about 1 am. We spent 20 dollars on a game card instead so we could just enjoy our time away from a huge group that we weren’t a part of. A girl that works there comes up to us at 1:10am and says hey guys we’re closed. So I said okay so we just paid 20 dollars for a game card??? And she said that’s too bad we closed 10 minutes ago. She went out of her way to tell us we needed to leave. After she just watched me shove 20 one dollar bills into the machine 3 minutes prior. We had to leave over 15 dollars on the card and get out because the employee was arguing with us. Definitely our first and last time here. Bartender was great, but it was a bowling alley, nobody goes there for the good service. Wish I would have gotten the girls name but I’m sure it could be narrowed down by seeing who was working on Saturday 3/30. Horrible business.

Took the grandkids here for a bowling adventure. Louie and Dane at the front desk helped us understand everything pricing wise. Eric in the bar was awesome and solyn in laser tag helped us out for great prizes.

We booked our company party for 150 people and it went off without a hitch! We had a band play on the lanes and catering set up near the arcade, which gave a casual fun atmosphere. Guests could play arcade games or bowl at their leisure. The staff was easy going and helpful. Everyone had a blast!

Came in yesterday to go bowling but leagues were going on, gabby and Dane worked their butts off to get the center cleaned as leagues were ending so I could get a lane as soon as possible. Love it!

The whole team at Chippers was amazing for our event. We set up a staff party at Chippers for about 40 people. Before the event, Shauna was in great communication to help me plan the party and food options. When we got there, everything was ready for us. They got our lane assignments set up fast, and all of the employees helping us were friendly and responsive. I would definitely do an event here again!

I had a great time! Bowling is always great & the laser tag is fantastic! Definitely recommend coming here if you wanna have a great time with your family!

Was not happy with my experience here. I tried chipper lanes for the first time tonight. The boy at the front did not seem happy about me walking in and did not seem keen on helping me and my friends. We had 2 issues with our bowling set up and the syncing did not work well. We had trouble with the bowling pins knocking over before we even had our turn (which takes the fun out of it). A good part was a very chipper lady who was helpful when she could be. Very energetic and friendly. The woman with the pink hair.Also, I had to walk out on my game an hour early due to sickness in the party and they seemed very happy to see me leave (different crew than when I walked in).Would not recommend this to anyone and will stick to my time old tradition of Sweetheart Lanes.

This review isnt so much for chippers as it is for the man who runs the pro-shop, Dennis. My ball was damaged during league bowling and given to Dennis for repair. I have been waiting for a month for it. Dennis called the center to let them know the ball is ready and can be picked up on Monday. When attempting to pick the ball up on Monday, was told it isnt ready. Why would he say it is, then? He is rarely ever in store, takes months to complete any sort of work, and on top of that, he lies. I think its time for Chippers to re-evaluate their relationship with Dennis.
