Great trails, beautiful area. Dogs must be on a leash at all times. Rattle snakes are present in the warm months. Wear a mask, be nice to other trail users, dont litter, follow trail guidelines and rules.

One of my fvoeite places to run or walk. You can stay in the valley for easy rolling hills, or climb up for steep hills with beautiful views. Watch out for rattle snakes in the summer

Amazing trails. Tough climbs to rolling singletrack. The only thing that sucks is the parking lot... Why cant we overflow to the horse trailer lot?

Long, some incline, with no trees. Wanted to get to horsetooth falls but didnt seem to. Not too good for little ones

One of the best access points to horsetooth mountain park. (Not ideal to get to horsetooth rock or falls, for that use the upper lot)

One of the more popular trail heads in Larimer county. Its always busy with hikers, runners, and mountain bikers. Afternoons and weekends will usually find the lot at capacity. Otherwise a beautiful area

Nice trail, not so hard. I wish people would pick up after their gosh darned dogs though. Come on. They provide bags at the trailhead. Leashes required.

This is part of a cycling loop where I ride from town, cut through here to Lory State Park, go over Bingham Hill, and take the Poudre Trail home. The trail here is wide and accessible for most. Its not paved. Vault toilets, a pay station, a boot brush, and a moderate amount of parking are available. Its a nice way to access the lower elevation area if Horsetooth Park or to be next to the reservoir.

Nice trail for a walk. Wanted to do a loop with shoreline and nomad trails. Nomad had a gate that appeared open with a very fresh looking sign that said the trail was closed due to muddy conditions. Everything was dry as a bone so no idea why or if it was actually closed.

When you need miles or vert, visit Soderberg! Access to Horsetooth Mountain Open Space and Lory State Park leads to miles of trails. Id recommend this more to the runners and mountain bikers than the casual hiker.Must pay for parking, and there is an outdoor restroom at the parking lot.

Weve done this trail numerous times with our 2 young kids (4 and 2) and love it. Parking lot has limited spaces so get there early! Our kids also like going and throwing rocks/sticks in the water across from the parking lot when we finish the hike.

One of the best, most versatile trail system around. Rolling hills with 3, 6, 10 and 12 miles out and back. Or head west and go vertical into Horsetooth Park and its trails.

I really appreciate how dog and horse friendly these trails are; doggie bags, trashcans, and watering troughs along the way. Nice variety of terrain: shoreline, valley and forest. These trails intersect Lory State Park. Beautiful area. Note it does require a Larimer County pass, and there is a self serve pass staion there.
