This is a great spot to catch some local music, or contribute with your own talent on open mics instrument (Thursdays I believe). For such an intimate venue they do a great job of booking some big names letting the locals jam alongside them! Drink prices are on par with the area. Theres not a ton of parking but a short walk through old town fort Collins is a treat.

Fun little joint! Lots of fun dancing to bands and DJs!! Especially DJ Jason Heller who played actual 45 records of 80s music!!! He was AMAZING!!!! Drink prices are a little high, but the entertainment makes the cost worthwhile. Bathrooms are decent and large enough to hold 4, so yay for that!!!

Nice little music venue kinda small but the bar has a great selection and if you end up buying drinks from the candy shop (rocket fizz) they will let you bring it in with you... sound system is nice they have a little bench area but its not very big.. they do all kinds of different stuff from producer/artist meet ups to concerts.. i would definitely go back again

For a smaller place, it was a lot of fun. Room for Dancing and socializing. It is common to have to Drive many miles to Denver to experience this kind of fun.

So my first rap concert here they were very accommodating of my service animal would recommend this place and well be going back. I just dont know when cuz I live in Denver and even though this place is in fort Collins its pretty awesome. Thank you hodes for hosting Tom MacDonald and Nova rockafeller. Im not a drinker so all I drink was a Sprite but it was bottomless as long as I didnt lose my cup which I did lose my cup once.

Saw Kottonmouth Kings, Boondox and Twenty Dollar Prophets. Venue is good size, multiple bars, fantastic sound and cool staff. Bathrooms are easy, and did I mention easy to get a beer and the sound is boomin? Had a great time, be back to Hodis again soon.

Good music. If you have something to drink something out of a bottle is probably your best option

Went for live comedy. Great work from all the comics! The venue is pretty grungy but we knew it was a dive before going. We might go back for comedy again. But Ill order a bottled beer next time. The bartender washed my cup in very dark grey water and it reeked of sanitizer so I couldnt drink it. Also had some sticky red syrup stuck on around the rim. Just not pleasant.

Great spot for being able to get up close with the bands and meet them afterwards. Cool staff and sound quality too. Saw DYSN, Prelow and Lostboycrow here tonight and preferred this venue over the Larimer Lounge where we saw them last time.

Headliner, My Dog ate Chad, was good but opening act, Shouldve stayed a Plumber, was better.

Great drink specials, awesome staff, and I promise that theyll have a show that you like. They always mix it up and have music from almost every genre I can think of.

This is such an underpopulated venue. Tons of great musical acts and more people should come visit because they dont know what theyre missing!?!

Well, what can I say? Its a small space and music acts still play like they are at a normal venue so sound waves racket ball at 90 mph and good luck dancing through that. They have never cleaned their ceiling and Im sure the dark empty corner (whole other bar seating with stage area) with the curtains for a wall is stashing ghosts or goblins. With all that said, Ill probably be going back.

Raw talent... Square footage is substantial if you really bot dat... Staff is awesome.

Bouncers kicked me out for no good reason. Hope you dont like enjoying your show if youre a big guy. Bouncers just dragged me out. You have to go they said. I didnt do anything or Id have silver bracelets in todays world. Will never go back; will flame forever. Shame because the long haired bouncer was chill.First bad review ever.

Hodis has always been the greatest intimate stage with the greatest bartenders. The bar is a comfortable distance from the stage while still experiencing the show.

Comedy open mic on Mondays is a great free show. These people are crazy.

Hodis Half Note has some spectacular deals to offer concerning shows. The wide variety of opportunity that Hodis brings to the Fort Collins area solidifies it as a must see kind of place. From stand up comedy, to up and coming acts. Hodis has a special place in the community.

Had a blast on New Years! Fast service, good drinks. The girl that collected tickets was a sweetheart and helped me find a special spot for my coat. Music was amazing! Only complaints are that something went wrong with the sound and band had to quit early and the lighting could be improved a little so you can better pics without using flash.

One star because no option for zero.We changed some things, didnt say that it would be better for the customer, its business, and were here to make moneyDude charged us for a show that was over. Great little dive venue. The state is adequate for a four to five piece band. Ive seen more up there but it gets really crowded. Drinks are standard and average price. They really need to update bathrooms...uck.

I always enjoy this venue. The staff appears to be nice, with as much interaction as you have with any concert venue staff. Beer is expensive, as expected. And the sound really is mediocre. Its the atmosphere and the local music scene that really makes this place fun. Depending on who is playing I will go again.

Not a lot of seating.. having a place with a live mic is cool was a good idea but when we went there they were joking about people killing them self and other really bad topics. Staff were very friendly

Great medium size music venue. Wide variety of music. Small town feel with national acts performing there. 18+ is a bonus if your a college kid looking for a place all of your friends can go to. Professional sound and lighting!

Decent little venue for our town

...I feel so bad for that Nick Cannon guy, or whoever he is, on the comedy open mic night. I went looking for a good time, and almost felt like I shouldve tried to liven the joint up.I like the place, cool atmosphere, nice n dark, helps me look less ugly and stuff. But wow, they should vet these comedy folk somehow. Its like, I can listen to one of these comedians, and think about a different joke and chuckle, but, eh...Hodis is nice, but you may want to walk down Linden street if comedy night is going, cause the lack of jokes was plenty, and you may get better jokes from random folk elsewhere vs comedy night. Nick Cannon was great, good introductions and the such, however he was introducing possible drug addicts at best. Yay Hodis, Boo comedy people.

I have come to Hodis since we moved here over 6 years ago, and it has been slowly getting older. The building is in need of some repair, and the musty smell from the ceiling draws away from the shows. I enjoy the concert selections and the comedy shows at the venue. Prices are great for most drinks, and the place is a haven for the young to party on the cheap. I often enjoy chatting with other patrons of the venue during any events. Overall, the place is average due to the crumbling building and the interesting events. I will continue to visit as long as shows stay relevant, but hopefully the building will get some of the care it really needs.

Such a cool little dive, but the sound reinforcement lacks, and the sound engineers are super inconsistent. Still a really fun place to go.

The venue itself is fine, unfortunately the bartender who served us was rude. This bartender made rude comments to me and a friend, she cut him off after 3 beers (she was hammered herself) in 2 hrs and said I was a winner once I asked to pay my bill. A group of us were there to support our friends band and she made the experience horrific

Went for the comedy show. It was great. The bartender was generous. The only thing that could be improved are the wobbly chairs.

Dan and the staff of Hodis Half-Note are fantastic. We hosted a fundraiser at their facility and they accommodated every single things we needed. They donated space, a lot of staff, the amazing sound system and much more. The staff was friendly, the bartenders were quick and efficient. We would use them again! The music sounded fantastic!

Great events, atmosphere is very low key. I miss the nicer seating.

Im not about supporting establishments that value people so little that they kick females just trying to get their bearings out to the street alone without so much as a water or an offer to call a ride, especially after accepting money for a cover charge.I can understand the greed-fueled logic of not wanting to deal with people you cant make more money off of, but thats just cold to do to a person who isnt being belligerent or unruly.Super lame job. A curse on your house.

Pretty cool venue. I wish that they had a stronger indie presence coming through. Seems to be a look of metal and hip-hop. Maybe I am just looking at all the wrong days but whenever I do go, I have a great time.

I have been going to Hodis for years now and have always had a blast. The venue brings in a lot of good acts and the ticket prices are very reasonable. The drink prices are good too, and the employees there are awesome. I would recommend going to this venue to anyone I know.
