Lovely outside theater section! Perfect for music or movies. Great place for social distancing and having an awesome time. Very cool atmosphere! I would bring your own chair as the ones outside are not made for comfort.

THE BEST moviegoing experience you can have. Have gone several times. They have recently renovated the inside and now offer things for sale which are fun to look at before your show starts. Great food and drinks and awesome environment (reminds me of Meow Wolf in Santa Fe). Would highly recommend watching a movie on their outdoor screen. This is a local place really worth supporting and shows the true character of Fort Collins.

Its not only the best local spot to see indie and mainstream movies (and movies outside!) but also a great place to hang out and have a drink. Not a great place. When I was a in the bathroom I saw an employee not wash his hands. Went to see a comedy and they showed two horror movie previews. I didnt go there to see that horror stuff so I dont want it to be forced on me. Also their alcoholic beverages are too strong. They should work on getting their cocktails mixed right.

Awesome spot for a night out! The outdoor movie was super fun and enjoyed by all. They do have little radios to rent, but a bigger device with speakers is not only ok, it was encouraged.

This place is hipster heaven in a good way. Always showing the best movies long after other theatres stop. Amazing food and great drink selection. Wacky art all over and a very fun atmosphere. Couches in the theatres. Cartoons on Saturday morning with a cereal bar is one of my familys favorite things and its so awesome watching classic cartoons from my childhood on the big screen. This place is fantastic. Check it out!

Never saw the first spot they operated in. But i have been to the new spot many times, as I live up the road. I really like having a small and comfy theater close by, they usually have many different movies through the year. In the summers they have movies outside, cereal and movies on the weekends. Food is ok, on par for movie theater, and about the same for price. Theaters are small and comfy, and it’s kinda nice not to be in a huge room. Great little spot.

The Lyric is a fantastic small theater. They generally show more art house type films, but also specialize in older and interesting films from across the spectrum. if you want to have a fun Saturday morning you should go to their Saturday morning cartoons where you can get unlimited cereal and watch cartoons from days of yor and not so old. Ive been to other art house type theaters in the past that were a little seedy and gross. Not the case with The Lyric. Its very clean and well put together. Highly recommend.

I really enjoy going to the lyric, and their new location is awesome. The food is excellent, and the beer selection is great. Sometimes I just go here for lunch and no movie. The movie selection is well put together. The seating is a bit uncomfortable, but each theater has such a unique setup that I dont mind. The outdoor theater is amazing as well.

We came for Sunday night Geeks who Drink trivia, hosted in the lobby. Its a really cool space, with beer and wine on offer from great bartenders. Though we didnt order any, they also have a bar menu for snacks. It was a good time, recommended!

This place has got a vibe unlike any other cinema in the area...more character per square inch. I bought a wonderful gyro sandwich and a local brew pint before the show and had a great experience. Temperature in the theater on a cold evening in FoCo was very comfortable..Ill go back

Cool place to see a movie! I love that this is local and supports local business. From local beverages and food to pin ball machines serviced/owned by Pinball Jones, this place has a local flavor! Love the decor too! Definitely a great spot for a date night.

This is a really fun place to go to. Nice little theatres with sofa seating up front. Great selection of local craft beers. And of course, nice indy movies from time to time and other great things to watch. We were there to see part of the Kubrick retrospective. And dont forget the TARDIS they have.

I had the pork BBQ sandwich. HEAVENLY! SO YUMMY. The bar, restaurant, venue, movie theatre has the best. Hubby says its really cool. The place was very clean...even the bathrooms! Loved the gift shop too!

The lyric is not your typical paint by numbers Cinema. It is a space that is meant to take you out of the normal. Its not a boring business bleached of individual creativity, rather an evolving venue for the arts in many forms. It promises to change with the people who visit it, and give you a place to taste new thoughts and emotions.

The Lyric is a highly imaginative venue that is filled with charming surprises. It invites patrons to relax and soak in the environment instead of simply rushing to see a movie. Besides a unique ambience, they have a nice menu of food offerings, a bar, and a great outdoor screen. On top of all this is the content they choose to show, independent and alternative cinema that focus on stories worth telling. I cant recommend a visit strongly enough!

This a super quirky and fun theater. They play some more esoteric flicks and have a nice cafe area on site. The theater is nice with a variety of seating options though the screen/projector doesnt seem to be top quality.

This place is GREAT! Great for a fun night out with friends, even better for a date night. They show the indie movies you need to see. Definitely give this place a go.

I love the Lyric. Always have. Their new theaters are very comfortable, though I miss the well-worn feel of their old building. Their concessions are just as fun as they used to be, with unlimited candy options, local craft brews, and great popcorn. They have great films, sorry it took me so long to bring that up.

While I havent watched a movie inside, I just attended The Labrynth on the outdoor screen. The back area has twinkle lights, patio space, swing chairs and a funky old rug boat the houses the projector. You need to bring your own low chairs or blanket, as well as an FM radio to be comfy and hear the audio. Such a fun experience! Think Ill be going back in a few weeks to watch the goonies. I cant think of a better way to watch childhood classics.

It was a cool place to visit. I went to see the Roger Waters movie Us+Them. Good movie!! The only thing I didnt like was you had to rent a portable speaker to heat the sound, then the batteries went dead with 10 minutes left in the show. Next time I will bring my own radio and save $4.

We have been a long time fan of The Lyric. Its so refreshing to have a venue that is completely locally owned and features unique movies youll never see in big box theaters. Plus, they are a tremendous support for local breweries & distilleries and have a nice food offering besides popcorn and candy. When you support The Lyric, you are putting more money back into our local economy instead of sending it to corporations outside of Colorado.

Never been here before but on my first day I was very surprised, love everything about this small business and recommend people try it. This looks like its going to be my new favorite place to go. Mixed reviews suggest people should come look inside and see around before buying a ticket making plans

We moved from Fort Collins to Loveland just about the time the new Lyric was opening so this was our first visit! It is well worth the price of admission just to see the place! They have maintained a funky, colorful, welcoming vibe, but have added a much more functional concessions/bar area PLUS a huge outdoor theater area. Think drive-in movie on a hill with wildflowers and blankets instead of gravel and cars. And as always, a great menu of thought-provoking and independent movies. We will put it back on our regular date night schedule.

Great time, too bad for us the kids are out of the house. Lots of kids playing outside and then enjoying the movie on the grass. Recommend: blanket and low lawn chair, with fanny about 6 inches off the ground. Beer, booze, and food too. Well be back!

Like this theater a lot. Good food good selection of drinks and great service.My only gripe is with picture and sound quality.The projector in the big one seems to have pretty poor black levels. Also the acoustically transparent screen they are using has very visible small holes for sound to pass through. If the screen was a lot bigger I think it would be less noticable but at the size it is its a little distracting. It looked like they had a SRX Sony projector which tend to be great, but it must have been an older unit.As for the speakers the high pitched notes are pretty murky and mid range is pretty weak. Lots of nice sounding bass but otherwise the soundsystem at least in the big one was pretty lackluster.

A local art house cinema. 3 screens appropriate for the film they show. If you want to see the latest Marvell spectacular go to the multiplex. Ive never been dissatisfied with screen or sound quality.Buy a beer and catch a movie!

I like that they always have good movies which other major cinemas won’t show. They also help out the local community and raise public’s attention to current issues in the society.

What a unique and delightful place! The setting has so much character, the menu is full of interesting choices, and it even has an outdoor screen, playing from a tugboat! We loved our experience, especially the fact that when we were walking out after our movie, they were playing funny cat videos on the outdoor screen. How can you beat that?!

We love love the Lyric. We tend to watch smaller independent movies and the Lyric is the only theater that plays them. Their new spot is terrific. The food is definitely above average. A great vibe. Fort Collins is truly fortunate to have this wonderful theater.

Went to the rocky horror picture show live and it was amazing! The inside of lyric is absolutely beautiful.

Fantastic small local movie theater. They have three indoor screens and a large outdoor one. They have a bar and concessions along with a larger food selection. I would recommend going there.

Saw a special showing of The Princess Bride. Outside, in back. The place was packed! Lawn chairs, and blankets everywhere. Had the brie appetizer. Delicious.

I was worried when the Lyric moved out of downtown, but the new location is even better! They get great movies all the time. The theaters are very nice, but they still have the independent theater charm. The popcorn is the best in town. They usually have a great tap list and the sandwiches are good.

Great movies you cant see elsewhere in Fort Collins, and better movie theater fare, too.

I love their space for visiting before or after the movie. Good food. Good snacks and beverages. Clean. Back patio. Many of the movies run are not being shown elsewhere in Fort Collins. The Lyric has special movie series or events including outdoor showings.

Awesome venue! Newly constructed with outdoor music patio as well as outdoor films on the lawn when its warm! Inside is a full bar with seating, snacks and small meals and a ticket stand with candy, popcorn and a few baked goods. Watch a movie and enjoy a drink and great food! Seating in the three theaters varies from sofas with small tables/ottomans to padded church pews (a lot more comfortable than it sounds), to typical theater fold down seats. On weekend mornings they offer cartoons on the big screen with an all-you-can-eat cereal bar! This is THE PLACE to see a great documentary! They also have movie marathons, special throwback film nights, comedians, a burlesque show and other special guests. It pays to join their online club so you can stay up to date with all that happens at the Lyric.The Lyric is an all around great place to eat, drink, watch a movie and just hang out.The only downfall is the amount of available parking on site. The small lot fills up quickly so go for your movie or show early and have a beer or park across the street at Jax.

Wonderful little Theatre in a nook. Saw a movie in the space theatre. Had a few hickups but it was nice.

Such a cool little spot. I have only been twice, but each time was great. I am a movie nerd and this was a theatre like no other I have been to. I thought other theaters starting to serve beer and have nice seats was a cool thing, but this place took that feel and made it home-y. From the beer on tap to the couches in/out of the theatre, this place is a safe haven for movie nerds and aficionados alike. Seeing “Mid90’s” and “Sorry to Bother You” there were some of my favorite movie experiences.
