I grew up at mapleton.it was started in 1818 and completed in 1820. My mother and daddy dr. & mrs. Henry campbell bought it from dr. & mrs. Bill slaton my fathers uncle. They restored the house and bought two noted chandeliers one from a palace in france and one from a palace in spain. It has 9 fireplaces and outstanding woodwork. Wonderful memories.
