AZ Segway and Pedal Tours

Weve been on many Segway tours but this is one of the best ones weve been on. We took the historical tour and even though we have visited Flagstaff many times we didnt know much about the history. Blake really taught us a lot. And of course, riding Segways are always fun! Next time we plan on taking the haunted downtown tour.

My group and I are local and found this tour because of this. All of us are relatively new to Flagstaff (within the past year or two) and wanted to experience a service by one of our awesome small businesses.We decided to do the Ghost Tour around town and it was amazing! There were a bunch of apparent haunting stories as well as a ton of local history peppered throughout the tour.Sasha was the best guide and really showed his passion for Flagstaff through all of his knowledge and storytelling. We will ABSOLUTELY be back again (probably for the bar crawl pedal tour!) and cant wait for that new experience as well.Thanks for such an awesome afternoon!

This tour was fabulous!! The segways were a blast to ride throughout the city. I was particularly impressed with everything I learned about the buildings in the area, specifics about NAU, and the history of Flagstaff. I HIGHLY recommend this activity for the whole family!

Blake is awesome. He is knowledgeable about the area and the history. He also is very careful to warn of bumps etc to keep us safe. He made us feel comfortable and confident to ride. We highly recommend his tours. This was our second time because we enjoyed it so much.

My husband and I took the Ultimate Segway Tour for two in mid-February, we did the 3pm-5pm time slot, and it was awesome!!! Way easier than I thought. Took us maybe 15 minutes to get the hang of it, but it was absolutely fantastic. The owner and guide, Blake, was so laid back and informative, about the history of Flagstaff and the Segway itself. It definitely made the whole experience more comfortable cuz you definitely feel like a dweeb climbing on that thing without the slightest clue of what youre doing. I cant praise him enough for how good at his job he is! Also, Ill note, it being just us and him was really relaxed of a setting, though Im not sure if you can control that. (Maybe offer private tours as an option?)Absolutely nothing bad to say.Only things I will add as comments:-Make sure to dress for the elements! We wore light layers, simple jeans and jackets, and were good.-WEAR GLOVESSSSSS!!!! That was the only thing that was a bit of a bummer (if you could call it that) not to be prepared for. (Or maybe they could be supplied for the us? ;) )-And have chap stick for after. Lol.Enjoy the heck out of it! We will definitely do it again.

Youve got to do this! My wife & were lucky enough to jump on the Haunted Downtown Tour last minute on a Saturday morning in June. We had a great time! The guide is a Flagstaff native and clearly loves his town and its history. Its a long drive to Flagstaff from our home in Yuma, but we will definitely be back and do another Segway tour!

Our family of 4 (including two children, 13 and 15 years old) decided to book this tour on our first summer visit to Flagstaff. We had an absolute blast! Blake was very patient with us when teaching us how to ride. He provided some great historical information and was very entertaining. Definitely put on sunscreen and bring a bottle of water. The Segways have a pouch attached so you can place your water in there. We would definitely do this again, even if it was the same tour, just so we can ride!The only thing Id recommend to the business: when making reservation, in the confirmation email, they should provide details on where to meet. I Googled the address and when we got there, it was a building under renovation. I called the business number and he told us to go to the General Store and wait there. He didnt tell us he was meeting us in the alley! He pulled up in his truck with the Segways and unloaded in the alley. The alley ended up being a great place to practice without traffic, so I understand that. Just wouldve been good to know what to expect because at first we thought it was kinda sketchy!

Great tour with a great tour guide. It was beyond our expectations. Would highly recommend to anyone!

My husband and I did the haunted tour and Blake was wonderful, we really enjoyed the whole tour. We would definitely do it again on a different tour!

Such a fun tour. Guide was kind, easy going and knowledgeable. Had 2 teenage girls with me and they loved it so much they couldn’t decide which was better, this tour or visiting the Grand Canyon! Highly recommend.

Blake took myself and my two teen sons on a segway tour yesterday. It was super fun and informative. We learned so much about the area and it was very interesting. He has a good, kind energy and he points out everything you know about the roads and getting around. Its a really good time and super informative! He took pictures of us along the way and sent them to me at the end. The whole experience exceeded my expectations- Thanks again Blake!

Absolute great fun! The guide was very patient with me as it was my 1st time on a Segway. My grandson took to it like a duck in water (and hes only 10). The tour was interesting, as we learned about old and new Flagstaff, interesting architectural elements, and of course, the scary ghost stories. Our guide was very knowledgeable, and we safely navigated Flagstaff on this tour. Not to be missed - we are already planning a return!

My husband and I honeymooned in Flagstaff and tried the Segway tour. The guide had incredible energy but wasn’t obnoxious, he had awesome facts and history that he shared, and we went ALL Flag. Amazing trip. I would highly recommend him this trip to anyone, even to people from the valley just visiting (were from North Phoenix) if you haven’t done it, it’s a must.

Absolutely wonderful experience!!! Blake was amazing and very knowledgeable about the area of flagstaff, south west, and NAU! He is very patient and helpful with making sure that you’re comfortable with your tour. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend this tour!!!

This was amazing! We did the segway food tour in March. Blake the tour guide was full of non-stop information and fun facts and stories. All the food locations were yummy. My family (4 adults) all had a blast the entire time. Highly highly recommend.

Sasha provided a 10 STAR tour but the review only allows me to leave 5. Get on board and have the time of your life zipping around Flagstaff. Eileen & I did the food tour and it was beyond OUTSTANDING!This was our 1st experience on a Segway and loved it. It was easy to learn, safe to ride on and super fun.Sasha is a true inspiration to all human kind with no limits.

Took the Segway tour of historic Flagstaff today with 3 of my grandchildren and their parents, Erin and Rocky. What a blast. None of us have ever been on a Segway. They are easy to learn to ride. In fact, my 8 y/o granddaughter easily picked it up and rode by herself on the roads and sidewalks of Flagstaff. The younger ones rode tandem. I actually learned a lot about Flagstaff even though I lived there for 30 years. Sasha was our tour guide. Knowledgeable, funny and nice. Great guide. This is worth doing for anyone new to Flagstaff and even for the old timers....definitely worth doing...

My husband, son and I ventured up to Flagstaff from Sedona and found this Segway Tour. We were only in the area for the day and this was a perfect way to see the sites and learn about the history of this wild west town. Our guide Sasha was fantastic. The weather was not ideal (a bit chilly) and after a while, one in our party was pretty cold. Sasha was flexible with us to make sure everyone was comfortable during the ride. We enjoyed the sites, the learning and the fun! Great time!!!!Also, I am 63 and was worried that I couldnt get the hang of it. Sasha taught us how to use the Segway and was very patient as we got the hang of it. I am proud to say that I was zipping around like a pro in no time! If I can do it, anyone can! The equipment used that allowed us to hear Sasha throughout the ride worked perfectly! You wont be disappointed if you go!!

Blake was very helpful in making sure we were comfortable riding the Segways before leaving! And took us all around flagstaff and NAU it was definitely the highlight of this trip! Highly recommended.

What a fun way to tour Flagstaff!!! First off, riders are given a lesson on how to ride a Segway and safety info. Before leaving, all riders feel comfortable on the Segway. (Don’t worry...picking it up is easy!!!) You are given headphones and a receiver in order to hear the guide tell all the fun facts about Flagstaff (as well as a few riding tips as you go along). Blake took several pictures of our group so we didn’t have to worry about keeping track of our cameras on the tour. The tour went on city streets (that weren’t very busy), on NAU campus, and through a park to name a few. Blake made us feel at ease and was very attentive to our needs. The tour was just plain fun and we highly recommend it!

Great experience. One of my favorite parts about visiting flagstaff. I learned so much and got a great feel for the city. Highly recommend it. I did the walking version.

Absolutely amazing tour that you must do someday. I had no idea of how rich the history of Flagstaff was and I’ve lived here 11 years! The view and experience going around downtown flagstaff on a Segway is epic and the guides where amazing at showing us the nuggets of Flagstaff’s development. Can’t say enough about how great this Saturday was and highly recommend it. Started with great training on the segways and they had everything you need. Communication is done through a headset and headphones so hearing everything is not a problem. If u ask for photos at the beginning they are very accommodating to help throughout the tour and they caught priceless moments for our group!

This was an absolutely fantastic time! It was the highlight of my vacation and I highly recommend to anyone looking for interesting facts about flagstaff in a fun way. I had never used a Segway before but Sasha was so patient and made learning a snap!!! I would rate higher then 5 stars if I could!

My wife and I did the historic Segway tour and it was awesome. Sasha was a great tour guide and he made sure we were comfortable on the Segway before we started the tour. We will definitely be going on another tour the next time were in Flagstaff.

August 12, 2019: My review originally mentioned the haunted tour being priced more expensively than the standard tour however, I was able to verify from the owner that both the standard and the haunted tours are priced the same. My family and I were taken on the standard tour instead of the haunted tour that was originally planned. I spoke directly with the owner, Blake regarding the mix-up and he was more than happy to provide a satisfactory resolution to compensate for the mistake. I applaud this establishment for taking customer concerns seriously and addressing them promptly.My family and I booked the haunted Segway tour however, there was nothing haunted about it. The information seemed pretty generic and I was unable to validate the accuracy of what was being said. The coolest part of the tour was riding the Segways which was a totally new experience for me. The tour is about two hours in length and you want to ensure you can comfortably ride a Segway for that amount of time. Make sure to carry a bottle of water with you and ensure all personal belongings are secured before the tour begins. Our tour guide, Sasha, was super nice and made sure my entire family and I was comfortable riding the Segways for the duration of the tour. If the price point of the tour was cheaper, I may consider booking again but for $89, I dont feel the value was worth what was paid.

This was such an awesome experience!! I loved it and had such a blast! I went with my two sons (13 & 15) and we all had so much fun!! I highly recommend anyone who has the chance to do the Segway tour, whether your a visitor or local. Ive lived in Flagstaff for about 9 years and learned all kinds of neat things I didnt know about this great city! Cant wait to do this tour again it was that much fun!! I have never done something like this before. And it was an amazing experience to have. Sasha couldn’t have made it any better. He asked if I needed to stop or take a rest. And the next time that I come to flagstaff I will be doing this again.

This was my 3rd Segway tour. Ive been to Sedona and Tempe Town Lake before. Neither of them compared to this one... Blake and his little guys were AMAZING! The historical tour including NAU was a great surprise from my wife, (Thanks Baby!), and I enjoyed it SO much! The things that set this tour apart from the others were: a) This tour provided headsets that we could hear the tour narration over. b) Blake is a true inspiration. Hes fun and cool, and very intelligent, not to mention creative (ask about Percival Lowells eyelash)Good Job, Blake and Sons!

Well me and my boyfriend went up to Flagstaff a couple weeks ago and we wanted to go for vacation so I decided to do the bicycle to work. Yeah unfortunately I got sick because I have seizures and I had really bad seizures the day of the tour. And we asked to get a refund since I was not able to go but you guys have yet to refund me even though you said you guys would and Im very disappointed and sad and I feel like when I go back up there I probably wont use your service because Im very disappointed.

Took our family on the ghost tour. Great way to check out the town, learn some of the towns history and our guide, Jared had some interesting ghost stories to share along the way.

The Segway tour - what a great experience! This company is accomodating, well-organized, and we had so much fun. We got a wonderful overview of the regions geography, economy, and history too. A GREAT activity for NAU parents like us. Definitely recommend!!

Took the cycling tour of downtown Flagstaff a year ago and still remember the experience fondly. The guide was very patient with a rider like myself who had never used a fixed-gear bicycle, or rode in a busy urban environment.

Very informative about the town. They have a good mix of riding and information and let you ride around as much as you want during the tour. They make it easy for anyone to learn to ride the segway.

Riding Segways must be the best--indeed the ultimate--way to tour Flagstaff: safe, thrilling, easy, educational and fun!
