GREAT PARK - that includes; walking path, open fields, baseball fields, deck hockey rinks, dog park, playground, and splash park/pool. It’s very clean and has plenty of parking.DOGS - are allowed, on leash only unless they are in the fenced in dog park.BIKES - I have seen people on bikes before but I am not sure that it is actually allowed as there are just too many people on the pathway and can be dangerous. I would check the park policy to find out for sure.BUSY - It can be a very busy place when a bunch of games are being played on the fields and there is never a shortage of walkers, runners, strollers! Just keep this in mind when planning to go. I would recommend a time but it always seems to be busy when I go and I’ve gone morning, noon and night. Luckily it is big enough for everyone to enjoy!TAKEAWAY - Add this to your places to visit if you like being outdoors, any kind of exercise, relaxation(benches, grass!), want some new scenery for your dog to enjoy, or if you would like to catch a ball game or deck hockey! There is a lot of activities to choose from and best of all.. it’s FREE!!

The park here has a lot of climbing/balancing features. I also love there is a book hut where you can trade books if you want. We have been here a few times and my 4 year old has a lot of fun. People have always been friendly too.

A nice place to bring the kids for a quick walk or to play in the playground. Theres usually other parents with children so the kids have others to play with. Only problem no available restroom or outhouse for the children.

I grew up here. The pool, playground and sports areas are nice and pretty well taken care of. The dog park is also convenient as I live right down the road.

Playground needs updating. Its semi-recent but not really much for kids to do. Doyle Field Playground (Imagination Station) in Leominster is best local playground ... Dog park could be better as well

Too many people! Nice facility for family in the community at Large first time I was over there. People with friendly and helpful... however it didnt stay long I am borderline ancient so my legs wouldnt take the standing I wasnt walking back to the car for a chair disappointingly I didnt see what I went to see

Best park ever, brings back so many memories from my childhood. Though much has changed since then like the waterfall/wall that was by the stream which is gone. My friends and I would swim there and have a blast. Now in my mid 30s with kids I brought them for the first time today and they had a grand ole time and I reminisced and told my kids about how fun this place was back in the 90s. Great job fitchburg

Its a nice park, its got good parking, and has fun activities for the kids with water fun activities. Unfortunately its not really dog friendly. It has two different play areas for the dogs that are not taken care of at all the grass weeds and ticks are overgrownfor the dogs making it dangerous and less happy area to play in. it would be great if people could reach out and donate fun toys and other things for the dogs to play with and hang out with while theyre in the free dog pen area. a cabana or some other set up for adults to sit and relax in the cool shade while the kids play in the dogs have fun would be a great idea, unfortunately this is not provided. please do come and enjoy the areas of sports play it is wonderful at the fact that people can play street hockey outside in a hockey area and play baseball and other games in the fields provided just be aware that you need to bring your own seat.

Great dog park area! Some of the broken playground equipment has been fixed but others have not. Cute lending library there too but they need bathrooms that are actual my open. With all the team sports (soccer, dek hockey, softball and baseball) that happen there its amazing theres no restrooms. Even the one Porter potty they had was padlocked. I can imagine how many people have used the woods as a bathroom.

This is such a nice park all around. Playground, dog park, the trails, the hockey arenas, the pool (when its opened).. its always a nice experience when we come here.. whether we come with my doggo and go to the dog park, we come with my 6 year old and play in the playground, we come with my 15 year old and play on the basketball court, or me and my husband are alone and hit yo the pool. No complaints here.. I would recommend

Great playground and walking path....pool and splashpark in the summer is a great and inexpensive place to cool down the kiddos. Love all the work on the fields, street hockey rinks, and dog park addition. I only wish the dog park was not right by the playground though. I dont like dogs growling near my children.

Ive loved Coolidge park since I was a kid and it was a watering hole lol its really nice. Cleaner than a lot of parks. I cant wait till they open the pool and sprinkler park this summer.

Very nice park, my son loved it here and the architecture is cool. We visited in late September when the weather was still warm. Theres also a great field to run around in and a dog park.

It has something for everyone! Park with swing and things with spongy turf,fenced in dog park for both big dogs and one for little dogs. They also having a walking trail or track unsure wich since I yet to do it! My child and my dog loved it! I give it a four since I have yet to check it all out.

Walking track is rough. I did not see any public restrooms. A pleasant walk.

A nice park with a lot for kids to do. Maintenance is a little slow (a rope structure has been broken and free-swinging for over a week), and people dont do a great job picking up after their dogs, but its still a very nice park regardless.

This park is a safe place to exercise or bring kids to play on the playground. They have a dirt track that encircles the park, a public pool, skating rink, basketball courts, and baseball field. The only problem with the park is that there is a lot of litter.

Dog friendly hiking/park

Since Fitchburg State University acquired the park, the changes and improvements have been incredible. With several softball fields, 2 Little League fields, a near-mile walking path and the three Ball Hockey Rinks, all within the Park, this is one of the most popular and most used places in the entire City.

Great place for athletics. Visit to run or walk the almost mile long track, to picnic, and for the kids to play on the playground. A river runs through it, lots of trees, clean, safe. Dog friendly.
