There is just absolutely nothing out here. Gangs of mosquitos, a lone hare, and a single raven. The full extent of wildlife I, personally, saw. No parking lot or building of any kind. No real trails. Just. Dirt. And, scrub brush thats not really even big enough to be called a bush. My dog and I walked around a little bit, and might have stayed longer, if Id had bug spray, or something. Its highly unlikely that well return, though. Overall, it wasnt worth the trip. You could pull over literally anywhere and get what I got out of that. Any rest area, in fact, Im sure. But, youd, then, have access to potable water and facilities.
The dirt road out there can use a grading, and the mosquitoes were horrific by the lake. But not bad if just need to get away from people. No potable water.
Amazing views! Stay out of the springs people. Flash heating. Flesh eating bacteria
Found it by accedent, another quite place to go and relax
One of the areas where I watch the wild horse herds in the area
They do a great job!
We had a fun adventure at this place! Theres a whole lot of nothing to see but dont let it stop you from saving your hotel dollars and pitching a tent out here.
Not a hiking area . Lol. Google says that it is.
Dont go here. Dusty and boring. Stay in Reno, or better yet California.
Not much bird watching wise.
