Started off kinda rocky. The server appeared to have a real Sssssslow way of responding to our party. Her name was J.C. I suppose after the table behind us didnt leave her a tip, she had an a piffney.J.C. entire performance changed for the better. She became so much more attentive. The food was AWESOME! Especially the chicken sandwich on the pizza bread

Great lunch at Rosie OGradys today. Service was quick and pleasant. This restaurant serves a small but tasty selection of good food, burgers, fajitas, soups and more. Today I opted for the fish and chips, the fish was of high quality, perfectly cooked, breading not greasy at all. The chips, French fries, were also perfectly cooked, a bit crunchy which I love, and seasoned so that it was hard to stop eating them. This was served with a side of delicious homemade coleslaw. Very nice experience.

Decent atmosphere, but this place is WAY overpriced!! I get it that Ferndale is a high rent district, but $14 for a shot of Patron is obnoxious. Had no idea I would end up paying nearly $90 for a round of 6 shots. We will NEVER be back.And the food is incredibly basic, which is OK, but when you charge the kind of money you do for it, there is a higher expectation.

I dont believe in being negative or mean spirited, but the chicken wing i ordered were the most blan, no flavor and zero seasoning chicken I had in 58yrs of living. It might be because of difficulties getting what you need due to Covid. The Staff was great! Friendly and pleasant.

The waitress was horrible. She kept stating that it was her first day on the floor by herself, but when Im hungry and with a group I really do not care. If she was that uninformed she should have somebody with her. I would have given her a break if she knew something. But she knew absolutely nothing. If we even ask what the meal consists of she could not tell us. We got the manager over there, she was very nice and helped us but I told her the same thing, if Im hungry I dont really care about people personal problems, they need to be next to her. I used to be a waitress at a couple places and even Taco Bell made me take a test to learn the menu. She didnt even clean the dirty dishes off the table which I stacked neatly. The food is very pricey. The drinks are not expensive and they have a variety of choices, but after two tall drinks I did not feel a thing. The environment was great, it was salsa night. The food lacked flavor and I would not purchase a meal from there, but the finger food is okay. To be honest one eyed Betty is near and the food is great and so is the service.

Its a chill place but I still havent found anything on the menu that I love. I like the dj. Lol

Terrible service experience. Went today with a couple of family members, asked to sit outside, which we were able too (in the back of the patio area, I may add) except for the fact we waited 30-40 minutes and hadn’t had our orders taken. Waiter proceeded to go to other tables of people that were seated after us. If the hostess hadn’t brought us any water, we wouldn’t have even had that. At that point we came to the conclusion that he was probably ignoring us. I shouldn’t have to wave you down to a table for you to take our order, that’s your job. After sitting in the hot sun, starving, without so much as a greeting, we just got up and took our business elsewhere. Won’t be back.

This bar is noisy but not awful, but the food is well worth it. And the atmosphere is actually pretty great as long as you are expecting a bar not a quiet sit down place. But the food...OMG the food ! The mozzarella fries and burgers are top notch!

Amazing vegan impossible burger melt and great drink menu. Drinks are priced a little better than the food is. Great if youre into sports bars or you come before it gets busy but not the kinda place I enjoy when its packed. Today at 2pm after lunch rush was my best experience

today we had the worst experience. I will start with saying the food was ok.. not much to say about that. But, we waited for 10 minutes before we even ordered drinks that were finally brought by a girl who wasnt even our waitress. Another 10 minutes later our waiter finally came over and talked to us. We ordered food and the salads didnt come out first so we just sat there hungry. Food came out, expect my 7 year olds she ate some of everyone elses food and we finished eating before it even came out. Said forget it. Bathroom had broke floor, period blood and paper on the seat. Sadly We wont be back

I loved this place but they should warn people on their limited menu because if youre going for any of your favorites you will be sadly disappointed

My experience was amazing! Our waitress Angela was super attentive and everything we ordered came out within minutes! She was honestly the best waitress I’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend this place!

The best chicken wings Ive had in a week I like to think of myself of the chicken guide . these remind me of alabama fried chicken and the taste is authentic. Its so good Ive been craving them ever since. Happy hour 3-? I was eating, I missed the cut off time which the waitress mentioned. But its $1.00 per wing, limit is five at a time. If not just purchase whenever you wont be disappointed.

They left their system open on GrubHub when they were closed (and when GrubHub says they dont even have a service contract with them). I got charged $100 for an order they never could have taken, even if they WERE open. Now its almost 8pm, Im out $100 for the next 5 business days, and I still have to figure out dinner. What a scam.

The chatter of the other patrons showed so much enthusiasm! The server was outstanding, helpful and intuitive. She was able to explain the menu and the drinks and gave suggestions. The pricing was good for the portions and if I had more room in my tummy, we would have indulged more. Will be back!

On the night I was there the place was pretty much empty. I think there was 5 other people in the whole bar. The service was quick and efficient, the drink was strong enough and the food was ok.Nothing spectacular but also nothing bad. I am sure I will be visiting again.

Everything is just mediocre. Pulled pork=good. Sausage=dry,not good. Waitress=not great. Outside of the pulled pork, no real flavor or spice... even in the Jalapeno Sausage. Then at the end they give you a handheld with 3 tip options, 25, 20 or 18... OK. First and last visit for us.

This place is amazing! Let me tell you...the chicken brussel sprout ceasar wrap was out of this world! Omg! The fries were soooo good too! Stopped here for lunch on our way through and so glad we did! I had a chicken strip from my work partner and it made me sad I didnt get those too lol staff was friendly and checked in just enough! Definitely a must go again kinda place!

The only thing better than their cheesecake is their customer service! I recently used Uber Eats to place an order for pickup. I got to the restaurant the after the app said the order was ready for pickup and texted them to let them know I was there. Someone came out promptly and explained that there was a malfunction in the Uber Eats app, and the restaurant wasn’t notified of the order (PRO TIP - call directly, don’t use an ordering app). The ROG staff rushed my order and brought out a cheesecake dessert while I waited (which wasn’t very long, considering). I am very impressed with how well they communicated, and everything they did to make it right! And the food was delicious on top of it.

Not a fan of the new menu. Also it seems that they are trying to be more trendy vs. just being solid at what they do. They took away onion rings and pizzas. Used to be good solid sports bar/pub fare. Now it seems to be trying something different, but youre still surrounded by hundreds of TVs and sports bar decor.

My friends and I came in on a Friday night for just a couple drinks. It was busier than normal... probably because they got rid of the awful BBQ menu. Lol just my opinion. The new menu has so many more options even for vegetarians/vegans and just reasonable priced bar food! We ended up getting a couple of the new appetizers to share and they were so good! Our server, Lacey was such a sweetheart. She recommended different cocktails and was super attentive and honest. On Friday they now have power hour from 10-11PM which of course made us want to stay. We have been coming to Rosies for years now and it’s exciting to see it become a bar again!

I honestly dont know what happened to this place, management must of changed drastically. The chicken tenders used to be amazing and now i can barely get them down. My vodka tonic tasted like straight watered down soda water. The waitresses used to be very friendly a couple years ago and now they act like children. Truly disappointed and will not be returning ever.

Sitting here now. It’s empty. Food is decent. But the standards are way low for cleanliness n quality service. Maybe because all these people could be working but their chilling at the table next to us.

Good food but service was not attentive

The food was good and trivia was fun but the food and drinks were a bit on the pricey side. $15.50 for chicken tenders and parm fries is a lot. And vodka soda doubles are cheaper at Fifth Ave... Which is sad.

We attended a retirement party and were surprised in the price of the drinks. Beer was fairly priced but mixed drinks very expensive.

Not a lot of food options. To me, a good bar has drinks and food options. Not sure if theyve updated the menu but usually Ill go somewhere else unless Im trying to drink.

Always good. Super nice staff always makes me feel welcomed. Food is delicious. I had the million dollar burger with the parmesan fries, to-die-for! My friend is a vegan and they specialized some vegan nachos for her which was really cool.

Horrible, the menu is so limited and they dont allow you to customize special pizzas and $14 for a large cheese pizza is excessive.

A fun spot right in the heart of downtown Ferndale. The food is good and there is always a fun crowd. They have a really great patio that in the summer is a great focal point of the neighborhood.

*This review is on getting drinks late in the evening, not food service.Two stars because there was a dance floor and fun vibe, BUT terrible music that people could barely dance to. They played mostly old songs from circa 2004 (except when they played Journey; who plays journey on a dance floor??). Love dancing, but we played a game called guess when this song came out instead and laughed at how terrible it was. We left cause our ears started bleeding from all the sad played out music.

The service experience was not good at all. Im a server and she was alone and should of had help. Was unable to give the dining experience a server could. But cant blame it all on the server the restuarant was under staff especially for Sunday night and the holiday

Really good burger, and when it is on special for lunch on Thursdays, it is impossible to beat. Nice place, staff has always been freindly and effective. Try to go when ever I am In area.

The food was fast, drinks were, music and scenery was on point. Ferndale MI is a hip little town. Everyone looked fabulous.

They have really great specials, daily. The menu is full of things for anyone to enjoy. The staff is friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very cool. I loved the margaritas & my salmon was delicious! Love this place, every time I go.

I had an amazing night, FIRST WEDNESDAY ROCKS!!!! The staff was very efficient and on top of everybodys needs. David was awesome, he made my first time experience to remember., DJ was slammin, the half off apps ti couldnt beat it. Great time for sure.will be back

We walked passed this restaurant and seen a bunch of people eating here. I was told that we would have to wait at least 45 minutes for an outside table and that was at 2am.

Wow have they ever stepped their game up! The last time I ate here was July 2017. Since then, they have improved the quality and level of their food. The stadium nachos had flavorful guacamole and very generous amounts of cheese. It is also topped with jalapeno peppers, sour cream and what tasted like pico de Gallo with very Light onion (may have just been chopped and spiced tomatoes). The nachos were crispy and the queso sauce tasted really unique and delicious. All in all I was pleased. Their fries were crispy and well seasoned. Very tasty! Ill be returning to see if this was a fluke or if their quality is consistently improved.

I really like the food and they have good beer. Sometimes its hard to get your waiters attention, but I always have a good experience.

This place right here (as far as I am concerned) has the most AMAZING Salmon burger with Avocado in the city AND the surrounding area!!! I have been here 4 time and have NOT been disappointed ..the service is just as amazing as well!! Freaking love coming here! I leave a good 45 miles away and the drive is never long when I know I am headed for my Salmon burger with Avocado... great place and the serve EVERYONE with respect

Ill be back because its generally a fun place. The drinks definitely need improving because everything we had was dire... I dont suppose they are targeting high quality drinks but mass market drunk people.

Horrible!! It wasnt what everyone hyped it up to be. No one greeted us when we walked in, we had to walk from one part of the restaurant to the other just to find someone to greet/seat us. The menu is very minimal. We ordered cheese sticks as an appetizer and they came out with our food, I ordered a Turkey burger (spinach artichoke) and it look like it was literally just thrown together, my fries looked to be old and refried (see picture), my fiancé ordered chicken and waffles, waffles had ALL the butter on it. I ordered a drink (Strawberry Loco) it mustve been a non alcoholic because I drank it like koolaid (Im an occasional rare drinker- Im someone that gets buzzed off a cooler). I wouldnt recommend this place or be back EVER, like I rather eat pig feet.

Good beer, good service. Chili was delicious. They were out of steak bites so I settled for fish and chips. Not good .Fish was frozen pieces, French fries soggy, Cole slaw was dry. Chicken dumpling soup was disappointing.

Mens bathroom was filthy. Smelled like an outhouse in August. Food came slowly and was room temperature. Management was no where to be seen.Room temperature food is clearly a health hazard, can give someone food poisoning and it will be reported to the health department.No excuse for this and management needs to be held accountable!

Amazing Family friendly place with a warm interior and acceptance for all. And not to mention delicious food! I had one of the turkey burgers and Ive never had one as juicy and tasty as that one.

Rosies is a awesome place, the drinks,the dj, amazing but the staff was so busy but still got everything handled very timely. Its been awhile since I been out on a Saturday night and it was the best time in a long time. THANK YOU ROSIE O Gradys

Best food in town! Im from Kansas City, we have nothing that is this good. Parmesan fries are so buttery, and the burgers are amazing! I thought maybe it was a fluke the first time, so I tried it a second. The second time was better than the first!

I was pleasantly surprised by the bbq. The place has been great for both mens & womens world cup for years. Staff is very friendly & not annoying. The room is spacious with good outside & open air covered seating. Parking, however, can be short since the lot is under construction.

Food was ok. Our server was new and knew nothing about the menu. We didnt get silverware because they didnt have any. They gave us a plastic fork we had to ask for a knife. It was my Bday and I wish I would have a chosen a better establishments.

This place is very nice, Ive been coming since it was built. Im so glad that I can get an alternative to a hamburger here with the impossible burger or the Beyond Burger. The staff is very positive and standard drinks are great!

Great St. Paddys Day fun!

Was in the area today for work a venture and decided to try Rosie O Gradys. My choice was the smoked 2 meat option and went with the brisket and sausage with smoked beans. Absolutely no regrets! So, if you find yourself stuck with a tough menu decision, I strongly suggested the smoked side of the menu.

It had great service and amazing food! Great place to eat!

Ill see if they can build up this rating. The location and atmosphere is great for a sports bar. Loved the TV in the booth. However, I was there for an hour and never had a host come to assist me. Never received a menu or was able to give a drink order the entire time, even though I waved down a waitress. They through up the wait a minute finger but was still a NO SHOW. The party I sat with ordered there food over an hour before I got there. When thete food came, they had to ask for silverware, napkins, a plate to fix there food on. And I still didnt get a menu. It is a beautiful sports bar but I need to go at a slowed down time of day to get a better feel of the place and taste the food. Please hire a person to just go around the entire place to assit with the needs of your clients during extremely busy times! Ill be back Rosie OGradys! I am fair in grading my customer service!!!

Need better beer choices

Great place to gather with friends to watch a game. I brought about 50 Virginia Tech fans to watch a game in their side room and everyone wanted to come back for another game.

ABBY AND JEFF!! #1 servers, they truly are on top of their serving. Abby and Jeff really deserves a raise. I don’t honestly know their earnings but she has kept the two of us happily satisfied with our food and drinks. Jeff was helpful with the entrees. Jeff tripped on a mat but he gracefully landed. I am coming back for everrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

The greatest. From our very helpful waiter, Mike. To the best shrimp ive everrr sunk my teeth into. My cocktail was quite tasty as well. Will i ever go back? Oh yes! Everytime i want to treat myself. On a Friday during happy hour, I decided to have Burger and Beer, I sat at the bar for 10 to 15 minutes without being greeted at all smh not a good look. It would of been nice if I was offered some water with a smile. But the foods good lol. Note: it wasn’t busy

One of my favorite bars in ferndale. Food and drinks are good and the atmosphere is pretty nice especially when they have a DJ during the weekend. Great for food during the day and then turning up at night. The patio outside is perfect during the summer to hang with your friends and vibe to the music and drinks

My wife and I went here for dinner. They guy who greeted us at the door wasnt that friendly and set a bad first impression but when we got to our table Cory was our server and he was fantastic. We ended up ordering the Valentines Day special and it was an amazing meal. The steak was probably the best steak Ive ever had. And Im a huge steak guy. Overall it was a great meal. Definitely recommend.

Great place to have an IPA beer, hang out with friends and on Sunday nights after 10 PM, the place becomes a latin Salsa night, great music by DJ Cisco, the best DJ in Detroit, our friends and I go all the time, great burgers and pizzas, prices are very good.
