Suggested donations is $2 for adults and $1 for children. If you want to catch it with some Christmas decorations, they should have some wreaths and bows starting 28 November until 9 January.
Ive heard of the Poe house but never stepped foot inside. I cant believe what Ive been missing this whole time! It was a wonderful experience and felt like going back in time. The tour guide was very knowledgeable in the history of the family. They do tours on every hour and its free and lasted about an hour.
Stephanie conducted our tour and was very informative. She gave researched facts about the family as well as articles on the home that were either original to the home or the period. The Poe house is a MUST SEE when in the area.
Awesome place to take your family. We have gone for the Halloween and Christmas Carol events. Highly recommended.
Beautiful and well kekp house, with tours going on constantly. It is definitely worth checking out. During the holidays it is decorated like old time. Must see
Free ...cozy 1800s home tour is pleasant and gives a historic understanding. The garden is nice outback......
Really cool to see if you enjoy a little history
WOW, WOW! Liz (tour guide) was amazing and knows her stuff. The house was a step in time. If youre looking for the never more, raven poet Poe; this is not his place. This is the brick layer Poe, very interesting.
Beautiful and well maintained. How elegant lives back in those days were but I am blessed to live in an era where the bathroom are actually works lol
I’ve been about 12 times, it’s beautiful.
