Accidentally learned that there was a special air display and show here on Labor Day Weekend, and was so glad we decided to go! Spent all day Saturday exploring history that my dad lived as a member of the USAF from 1938-1963. The hangar displays were packed to the brim and larger than expected, and touring the inside of Doc, the B29 Super Fortress was a thrill. The extra treat of watching the vintage plane fly-overs and air exhibitions were icing on the cake. Would love to see yall add more family-friendly events like these with even more flyovers and exhibits. We would definitely come back!

Its a very nice little museum with some great displays. Watch their event calendar and you might just get to see some really rare working planes like a B29

The collections are great, and the Museum did a good job preserving most of the planes and vehicles. I especially like the vintage red Packard 120. I wish they have some kind of brochure to introduce the exhibitions and a overview map of the site, also some visual display will be helpful too (eg: video clips).

This museum is very quiet and does not have many visitors. Despite that, the exhibits are excellent; most of the aircraft still works and is flown at the air shows. There is a third building now with more military memorabilia from several different wars. This is definitely worth checking out if youre visiting the area.

I hadnt been there since I was a kid. I forgot how fun it was to look at such beautiful airplanes and cars. The staff was very polite and the facility was well maintained. I really enjoyed my visit and seeing some of the interesting planes take off and land from the field was an added bonus. I would definitely recommend this as a great family friendly activity or, a fun place to visit if you have time to spare.

What a great collection of aviation and military exhibits! This was my first time here, volunteering with Open Avenues for the inaugural Soar NWA event.Weather is a bit unfavorable for hot air balloons and skydiving, which were both scheduled for the event. This must be a recurring thing with the rude lady at the front desk as the other reviewer said. I grew up right in West fork and Greenland and I always remember the old woman being mean at the counter but since then Ive moved away and was visiting with my girlfriend and we really enjoy museums together. Its expanded a ton since I was a young teen but the service provided by the woman was awful. She said shed be closed in 30 minutes and I told her it was OK, I just wanted to walk through and we wouldnt take long. She sighed and said fine. The museum itself holds a ton of pieces from airplanes to weapons and uniforms but nothing that will astonish you. When we were about to leave we were looking around the gift shop and she interrupted us and asked how we heard about the museum and I told her I grew up there and just knew where it was. I drove past it nearly every day of my life. but howd you hear about it? again, I grew up here so I just know where its at so she just scoffs and walks away. I cant imagine that you place getting a lot of business except when an air show comes through. Im sorry we went to your mediocre museum.

Rude, Like the other 2 post said! A total waste of time! It was advertised in paper as free today, also said free outside but she charges $10 a person. No explanation. Another very upset family on vacation was in the parking lot. They said this belongs to the city so nothing can be done. If these people are city employees then I dont think I would want to live in Fayetteville and deal with sort of attitude from their city emploees. A very bad imprsssion of Arkansas for travelers from out of state. They should close this place before more harm is done to Arkansass reputation as friendly and honest people.

I havent received treatment this rude since my last trip to New Orleans. My (clean-cut and relatively quiet) family to see the CAF AirPower History Tour and the lady behind the counter was rude from the very beginning.I wasnt sure where to go once we went through the door, so I told the lady behind the counter that I had brought my family to see the show. Were not doing the family rate this weekend! she said--which would have been fine if she hadnt been so nasty about it. She slammed down my wifes credit card on the counter after she ran it through. Maybe the weekend had worn her out? Not that that is any excuse...She wasnt the only worker her that was rude. But she was our first impression of the place, and he attitude to us was completely unprecedented. We saw the planes and left. I wouldnt have gone to the show if my kids hadnt already been so excited about it. My 4-y.o. son wanted to buy lots of planes and a kite--we will buy them for him, but not from this place!Maybe the large man in the flight suit treats the front desk as badly as he treats families, and she was just passing on the abuse. I dont know. Our entire experience with be place was pretty bad EXCEPT for the CAF crew, who were all very friendly, informative...and actually nice to my kids!
