This park is a gem!! Best local park for trail running or hiking if you live in the Belleville or surrounding areas. The paths aren’t labeled the best and can be a bit confusing as far as which little paths branch out, but that’s part of the fun, right? There are two hills in the main open part of the park that are great for hill repeats. The park is well-maintained and there’s even a historic log cabin from the 1800s preserved and clearly taken care of. If you are looking to get away from the chaos without having to drive far away, then this is the place!

Due to some mechanical issues with our RCs, it was a short trip. But I see a big potential for RC Crawlers at the Pleasant Ridge park. Ill be back, and hope to see the RC scene grow there like at has up in Troy!

Nice quiet park with some short trails. Excellent place for metro east residents to get in a short hike after a workday. The trail system winds along a series of watersheds and creeks in thick woods. There is even a little waterfall.

Lovely park located between Caseyville and OFallon, with an old log home, several picnic shelters and a playground (all currently closed due to the Covid-19 concerns), plus an interesting trail with nice elevation changes and several bridges over a small creek. However, trail lacks signage so was rather confusing. Our family group ended up backtracking since we couldnt find the loop, and we heard several other groups bushwhacking their own trail.

Absolutely amazing!!! I love it. If you like real hiking its the place to go. Up and down hills. Across creeks. Over wooden bridges. All dirt paths. I take my dogs and go for hours.

Actual hiking trails. Very doable and easy for someone with general experience with trails, yet a lot more exciting than a lot of the “PG” trails in the area. Might have just become my favorite place to go. Loved it.

Beautiful, well kept park with plenty of space for picnics, parties, and trails for hiking. Dog friendly, but you have to clean up after your animal.

Great place to ride mountain bikes. Not the longest trails. This is kinda cool because it allows you to meals 2-3 laps. This way if you need water or to make a tweet on your bike you can. Strains are super fun and flow very well. Trails are maintained nicely. With roughly five miles this is a great place for some one who is new or someone who wants to get a bunch of miles in.

Absolutely lovely and the lawns are maintained but the trail maps are vandalized as of October 2016. As far as I have explored there is NO poison vegetation that would cause contact dermatitis. Which is dope as all hell.Quick point: the water fountains, they are terrible.
