Its a great outdoor area, I have been going here since I was a kid. I love the mini golf and the batting cages are good.
Always a good time! Usually the place is pretty lightly attended so you can get to the fun right a way. Shot a 66 on the front 18. Good luck.Edit: so I see some folks, this Julie character, showing pictures of the course full of leaf debris looking unusable. Thats true, but its for the back 18 holes which is closed. I think its more akin to you closing the guest bathroom at your house since you turned the water off before remodel. That said I remodel slow.
We had a fun time only offering miniature golf and batting cages . Needs some up keep done
This place is run down. Empty ponds and fountains filled with trash and junk. Green water in a pool that used to be for bumper boats. The obsticles on the mini golf consist of a lot of ripped turf. Broken lights, missing bricks and rotting wood all over. Mini golf is $7 per person. Cash or check only. The employee was nice but I only saw one running the whole place.
I brought all my sons there. When they were young. They all came back to the area. So we decided to go back there like e use to do. So disappointed. So. So. Run down. Ashame was a great family place. Either close it down. Or sell it to someone who cares and will fix it up. We won’t be back
This place has seriously gone downhill and is in DESPERATE need of a clean up and remodel. The building has buckets everywhere to catch water from the ceilings and caution tape all over. The whole back half of mini golf is closed because its so rundown and overgrown. Many holes on the open half are in need of some work, one hole had a pretty large hole in the green and was just broken concrete. Sorry to say I will not be back.
Can I be honest here? At this point the decrepid condition of the park is a novelty. I felt like Haply Gilmore on the last hole of the tournament.
Kinda dirty and unkept. Lots of burnt out lightS on the golf course. Could definitely use some repair work as well
We went the other day with one of my friends who used to go when he was little. We had great expectation but the staff was rude the whole place looked run down. There was no water in the water features. Some of the holes on mini golf were unusable. The concession stand looked disgusting. It looks like they only cared about the batting cages.
Disgusting all around. The place is literally falling apart. Mini golf course is falling apart, the bumper boat water was almost brown, go karts were not open, but thats ok because they were broken down too. The screens were ripped on the building, roof is falling apart, weeds are overgrown everywhere ~ even out of the gutters. We did not even finish the putt putt. Do not waste your time or money here!
It is low maintenance and needs a lot of improvement; nothing ie open but golf .
Wow how this place has fallen into a state of disrepair. This used to be the happening spot . My wife and I went here on a couple dates before we got married .The greens on miniature golf courses needed replaced a decade ago . Now its just like putting on concrete . Even the ball holders are worn completely down .The hillsides next to walkways are a mix of ivy and poison ivy which is really bad as I get poison ivy really bad.Only half of their nascarts were working.Still a fun place to take the family but definitely could use some refreshing .
This place is a dump! What a shame that the owners let it crumble.
My husband and I go here for mini golf or to the batting cages with our grandson. Bathrooms are way outdated but people are friendly and prices are good.
My family and I love coming here to play mini golf. This place needs a little maintenance done, but its still really fun and theres a lot to do here! We always try to stop in if its nice outside when we are in town.
Great grandkids had a ball.
The mini golf course has potential, but they hadnt been doing a very good job of keeping the mud off the course when I was there. In fact, one of the two courses was shut down. Weve had a hard time finding a well kept and fun course in the St Louis area and this one was about as average as everything else weve tried so far.
Rude staff. Mini golf is run down. Batting cages don’t work. Grounds need attention. One staff member smokes around customers. I don’t see this place staying open much longer. Used to love going there.
I had fun, but its very run down and ripped up courses messed up turns. The end shot is also somewhat a rip-off. It says hole in one in the front hole for a free game. I suprisingly ended up getting it and only got a buy one get one free card, so Id have to buy another game then. Besides that I had fun with the minigolf.
This place used to be cool. Its kinda been let go. What once was a cool water feature around mini golf course is now a gross hole in the ground with a giant pump in the middle. Path lights broken or out. Reaching my hand in the hole to grab my ball and cut myself. Overall we had fun playing. Thats why I didnt give it a one star. But Im really sad how much this place has gone downhill.
Its not well maintained at all, but its expected in this day and age (referring to how leisure time is spent). Either way if you have a great bunch of people to go with you cant have a bad time!
Good affordable family prices, we had a great Time being there and playing the Putt - putt course. I am only rating this 4 stars because the course is in bad shape, needs lots of maintenance.
I have very fond memories of Centerfield. I used to go here all of the time growing up. I would do mini golf, batting cages, the arcade, driving range, and more. Although all that stuff still exists, its become very dilapidated and you can tell the place has not been maintained well. The prices have gone up in the quality has gone down. Its still a fun place to bring kids who wont care if the turf on the mini golf courses is dirty and torn up, but overall there are better options to go to when it comes to mini golf or batting cages.
It is run down some, but we had a great time.
Really fun place I love the batting cages!
Fun place to bring the kids without hurting your pockets. . Go carts, mini golf, table games, batting cages & more. Reasonable prices
The gentleman working was very unpleasant. We played miniature golf there was so much debree all over the course. Was a hand down bad experience
It’s all so fun and it’s not expensive too !!!
Idk if they just opened this place after winter or not but it was disgusting. The floors in the game room were rotted out and the kart track wasn’t even open, as well as half the golf course. The golf course that was open to us was dirty as hell and covered in leaves and sticks. It’s almost as if they put 0 effort into shining the place up a little before they reopened it
First impressions are significant. Upon arriving I thought this place was out of business. My son was really looking forward to taking a few swings in the batting cage but the pitching machine was awful. The speed was unreliable, inaccurate and just a waste of time and money. About 1/3 of the pitches didnt even come close to the strike zone. When pitches did come across the plate, the speed and placement was inconsistent. This experience caused my 10 yo son much anguish and frustration. He doesnt ever want to come back.
This place use to be great but they need a lot of work done thats why they dont get much business
Old fashioned clean fun. Great place to get the family out. Putt-Putt, batting cages, go carts, bumper boats, arcade, snacks, driving range in back. Treated us very well!
Understaffed and needs maintenance! Attractions closed early due to breakdowns or lack of staff, half the batting cages were inoperable, go cart area looked more like a junk yard. I hope this place turns around its going downhill quickly.
Used to love this place, but it has been seriously let go. Understaffed, rude/indifferent staff, no maintenance for years on the golf course and other attractions. Owner should be ashamed.
Family friendly. I like this place only been once but plan on going again with my family.
Cheapest batting cages around
Letting things go a bit too much. Not sure if the clientele is lacking, causing the disrepair and little attention to the assets. We had to wait because limited number of go-carts were available and we all had to double-up in the bumper boats because only three of the 8 were actually functioning. Perhaps I caught them on an off-night but it definitely does not seem to have the level of of service it had back when I was a kid.
Nice for batting practice. Entire facility needs significant improvements as its quite run down.
Great place to take your kids while in Fairview Heights. We come here every year while in the area for the Grand American Trap Shoot.
Love 2 take the grandkids. Been going for about 18 years.
Miniature golf courses are extremely run down. Everything needs a lot of TLC. Main building is run down, arcade games are broken, etc.Really hope the owner decides to put some much needed funding into maintenance soon!!
Great place to go mini golfing. Fun experience.
I was practising hitting softballs and was hit in the face by one of the people hitting in the fastest pich stall. My husband was told they dont give refunds but he demanded it back so they did. Maybe dont have the court curved so people in stall 1 dont get hit by 100mph fly balls. My lawyer may like this one!
Batting cages are not calibrated to throw a consistent strike. Thats the only reason we went, so I cant comment on other aspects of the park.
Nice place to keep the kids busy throughout the summer, but the golf holes need some TLC
Could use work and discriminatory against disabled/handicapped!! Would not let me ride in the Go Karts because I had a small flexible knee brace. There was nothing listed on the website or posted in the park about restrictions except for height requirements!! I am 48 years old and have been driving for over 30 years!! Really!! I wonder if I brought my friends kids who are truly disabled if they would tell them they cannot ride. Anyway, the park could use some serious maintenance. We played mini golf. They had two courses. The one we played had quite a bit of turf that needed repair; overgrown shrubs; water features w/o water; areas that needed painting; steps and bridges that needed new wood and nails and screws hammered in. The place probably used to be awesome and could be again but needs a lot of TLC. Well my family made the best of it anyway.
Its a nice place for the family nite out.
The place looks horrible they have comes everywhere the building has water damage and the go carts are out of service because they refuse to fix them
Love coming here. Great family fun
Great place to go for Family fun. We had a great time.
This place is really fun! Two good mini golf courses and batting cages too! They dont take cards, but they do have an ATM on site. Prices are really good too!
The place is a bit on the old side but it is always fun & the prices are good. They have a lot of batting cages. Mini golf is good too. It has been a while since I rode the go karts but I remember them being fun as well
The place is just like I remember it. Great time
This place is a trash hole. Its like none of the money they make goes towards any repairs. The pool the bumper boats are in looks like a swamp and all of the wooden pathways and bridges seem like they would fall in if too many people walked across it at once. Never wasting my money here again.
Fun for me and my kiddos. They are 15 and 7 and both have a great time!
Had a blast playing mini golf with my family, but the facility is in need of maintanance. Light bulbs need to be replaced, mud hosed off greens, fountains and decorative ponds cleaned and functioning.
Had fun here, but it looks like theyre doing some work in the mini golf area, as only one was open. Bumper boats werent going yet. Maybe next time things will be set to go. The employees were friendly.
Kids always have a nice time here. It has not changed much in the last 15 years. Really starting to show its age. Hope to see some upgrades at some point.
Great place! The owner was very accommodating to our school field trip and gave our school a discount! My students enjoyed the batting cages, go carts and the pizza was delicious! The staff were very friendly and the park was very well taken care of. I cannot wait to return with my family or take another school field trip there!
Is a nice place to take the whole family - golf take, mini golf, batting practice and more.
The guy who works the goatcarts is rude and its kinda depressing
Fun little place with LOTS to enjoy!
Little brother and I went for the batting cages and the cages were great. They have 40mph, 50, 60, 70 and I believe 80 plus a few softball cages. The putt putt greens looked pretty nice too. This was the 1st time Ive been there and Im sure to go back soon!
Golf course is way to small never even got a chance to pull my driver out
Wood was rotting and weak in areas, course needed a whole lot of TLC, standing water in broken fountains, and the staff that I came in contact with were not very friendly. I will not go back.
It is a fun place to go the golfing courses are dirty some of the carpeting is torn the holes or filthy on the 18th hole if you get a hole in one you get a free game. The free game is not any good unless a second person pays $5 which is a rip-off. The. Paddle boats are still not open and here it is August.the bumper cars not in service.
This place has seen better days. Many of the carts seemed to need repair. Golf course was very rough as well.
It needs a lot of repairs done.
Great way to spend a couple hours with the family! Batting cages have different pitching speeds to accommodate most ages. Facilities could use some updating tho.
Friendly staff. Wasnt crowded. Some things are in a bit of disrepair. My kids had fun on the go karts but were disappointed the boats were closed.
Centerfield is showing its age, not in a good way. We were on the miniature golf course. Turf is in bad shape, basically like golfing on concrete. Course lighting looks shabby. We had fun, but time to either fix some things!
Fun but some stuff is really old
One of the better mini golf courses in the area. Everything seemed to be a bit tired, though. Could use some fresh paint, the water features running, etc. The boy liked it so it gets a thumbs up from me
Not like it used to be. We lived here in the 80s, it used to be a great place but has gone downhill. Prices are very high for what you get. Wonder if owners pocket all the money and use none to keep it clean and updated. Bummer
Used to be nice. They havent updated any of their equipment since theyve opened. The batting cages are awful, but one of few options in the area to hit balls outdoors. They have little competition in the area, so they see no reason to make any changes and are fine with the status quo.
Batting cages are sooooooo bad: inconsistent. Instead of paying a dollar for 15 pitches, Im paying a dollar for like 7 strikes. Not much else to do there. They also only take cash.
Very run down and very rude staff. I used to go here years ago and it was a lot of fun. It has gone way way down hill.
First time there. Had a wonderful time.!!
I had a horrible experience here before I could even walk through the door. One of the workers accused me and my friends of “doing suspicious activities” in the car since we were parked. In all reality we were trying to find the website of the park to see what time they not only closed but what activities were available. She parked her car directly behind my friends to block us in and kept screaming “WHAT ARE YOU DOING”! I highly doubt I’ll come back here because clearly we were NOT welcome. She had an attitue when I told her the reason behind us still being inside the car. Spend your money somewhere else if at all possible, the treatment is not worth it.
This place is a runned down dump!
We only played mini-golf, so this review only addresses this part of the park. I like the fact that many of the holes have shade from the trees, definitely keeps it cooler in the summer heat. The holes were designed to be challenging but still fun. The customer service was average. They do not take credit cards for some reason, a bit surprising since you can easily rack up a big bill if you do more than 1 activity or if you have a large group. My biggest complaint is the poor quality of the course. The holes are not clearly numbered, the putting surface on most of the holes is completely worn to nothing (its like putting on the sidewalk), and the wood steps and landscaping barriers are really worn down. On a few holes the Astro turf was not glued down completely and it would have been nice to have a small platform to place the scorecard on when recording the score. Even 2 of our 3 golf balls were pretty worn down. Im sure this was a great course when it opened, but its now in need of a serious upgrade across the board. At $6/round/person, I am not sure its worth it.
Ive been going there since it first opened, and that is probably the last time they did any real work to the place. The softball batting cages are a joke - pay your money to have pitches land 3 feet short of the plate. And you cant move up to hit them because youll be exposed to the other people hitting and/or hit your bat on the posts.Im guessing they either make enough money they dont care if the place is bad, or they have lost so much money that they are holding out long enough for someone to buy them out.Either is pathetic.
Fun time with family. The arcade needs updating. Otherwise it was money well spent
Not very clean, mud all over golf area, bugs were very bad. Very poorly taken care of
This place looks like it could be deserted at any moment. Light bulbs had fallen out along the put put course, the fixtures had been broken, one of the holes our ball got stuck so we had to go find it, the green was worn, the go karts looked like they were never taken care of. The staff was decent, but were all kids and some didnt seem like they cared at all.
Had fun but park needs updated! Very expensive for what they offer. The nascarts were having issues running. We had a group of 5 and had to wait for cars to be fixed to ride them! That was a huge inconvenience! Should have got a discount because of that!
I played putt putt golf and lost to my mom by one point!
The only thing that frustrated me was when we bought tickets for the Slik Track. We were waiting at the Slik Track gate and were told to go to the other track. We noticed the other track wasn’t “Slicked Down”. I asked the young man if they were going to slick it down and he said “No” and that the slick track meant just using specific go karts. I was really confused because I’ve done slick tracks before and it’s advertised on their website as “Enjoy old fashioned go karts on a slicked down track”. We ended up not doing it and got our money back. The girl who refunded us was nice but also seemed to have no idea about the slicked down track. So either these kids working really have no idea how a slick track works or they were trying to give me and my party the run around. Other than that we played mini golf and it was fine. The price to play was fair, the course was ok, but numerous lights were out on the course which after dark made it a little difficult.
Terrible! Over half the lights in putt putt were burned out and/or hanging by their wires and with broken fixtures, carpet was very old and torn/ripped, tee pads missing or warped and not even fastened down, leaves and other debris littered the putting surfaces, decorative ponds and fountains half full of filthy water and not running. They cant even use a leaf blower for 20 minutes and replace some light bulbs? All this on a Friday Summer evening about 8 pm. They are clearly squeezing every penny they can out of the place and have no sense of responsibility to their customers. Drinking fountain looked like a urinal...rusted and dirty porcelain. Outdoor wooden deck has been neglected and has rotting boards. This place is filthy...dont give them your business. Even the 11 and 14 year old kids in our party were creeped out.
First time going there. My fiancee took me therr for my birthday. This was my special night
Fun little oasis to go mini golf or go karting. But everything there needs to be updated. Batting cages work well though!
