Went in to get fitted for new irons. Great customer service. Was greeted by a man who quickly set me up in a bay with the sticks of my choosing. Then with the fitting my man Denny was fantastic. Took his time and even helped me with my swing. All around great experience.
Called ahead to verify clubs could be regripped while I wait, they said No problem I told them, its an hour and a half drive so if not its very much out of my way,. I arrived, and paid for a fitting, picked out grips, only to be told I would have to leave my clubs for 24 hours. Also, the expert staff didnt know what smash factor was, and i golf 3x a week, know my distances well, and thier machine claims that my swing speed was 18mph less than my average, and my 7iron only travels 120 or so yards on good hits. This place is so unprofessional its insane. Thier machine needs calibrated or updated (still using old gc2) and they try pushing new clubs on you even after telling them multiple times that I would prefer to keep my irons.
They have lots of variety for all your golfing needs and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Great place. The staff was insightful and had a no pressure approach. They helped me find the clubs i needed to match my play style and price point.
Tim helped me choose a driver. I told him I wasnt set on purchasing today but he was still great at assisting with every rookie question I had and wanted to make sure that if I left, that it was with a club that matched me perfectly. He was very patient and I feel that the used driver I picked up was a great fit for me. The gentleman had grey hair. I asked a few random questions to other sales associates that passed by me as i was viewing items other than clubs and they were very polite and quite helpful.
Excellent service before and during the sale. Friendly, personable, professional at checkout.
Denny was a great help fitting me for clubsJim gave me some great pointers thanks again
Mike Bailey was ok but he really treated me like I was just there to look around and not professional at all. For someone being in sales he should have been a whole lot nicer!! Oh well maybe he was just having a bad night who knows and who cares!!!
I went in to purchase a new set of irons. The staff was friendly and patient with me after trying out almost every iron over the span of 3 separate visits. I was a little concerned about the fitting process because since the hitting bays are smaller compared to the other Golf Galaxy stores in the St. Louis area. All employees that I tested clubs with were very helpful and knowledgeable. Derek was fantastic for my fitting. I did not feel rushed despite having other customers waiting. Even though it is smaller compared to other GG stores, this one is just as good! The prices are the same as other GG stores in the area. I will continue to shop here.
Went there twice. The first time needed to use restroom but did not have one for customer. Next time I went I picked out a 5 wood and set it aside to look for a putter. I tried a number of putters. Each time I was test it, a worker would stand at the hole I was putting toward and stare at me. It happened 4 times. When I confronted one of the workers they just looked at me and acted as though I wasnt there. I can guess what they were doing, but it was just plain rude. I would have purchased over three hundred dollars worth of equipment but I left in disgust without purchasing anything. I wont be back.
The staff is both friendly, and courteous. The prices are a little bit high. But, maybe thats why theyre still open, and so many others close their doors.
My husband and I loved this store. Our experienced with the staff are friendly and very helpful. Chris Jones is an excellent PGA golf instructor. We highly recommend him. Advantage Club is great.
Always great service. went for a driver and Denny was a HUGE help! took the time to analyze my swing and put me in the proper club.
A worker told me that the follow through isnt important because the ball is already gone.Seriously? The follow through is one of the most important aspects of the golf swing.
Golf galaxy in Fairview heights lost my business from here on out. Customer service from one of their employees was awful. He acted like he could care less if I bought from them or not. Simply asked if they price matched and he said yes and than when I showed him the pricing online that I saw he said oh no we can’t match that you should probably jump on that deal. When I asked if I could hit some irons that I was interested in possibly buying he said “ you’re not gonna buy from us anyway so you can pay $20”. Seemed annoyed that I was even at the store and not helpful at all. This is why you see so many stores closing and online shopping being used. 1. Don’t have to deal with unhelpful/ rude employees.2. Better prices online
Nice selection & great service
Easily the worst Golf Galaxy Ive ever been to. How do you not carry Bridgestone B330S balls and claim to be a high end golf retailer? Im really glad I didnt go out of my way to come here, even though it meant I had to drive to Chesterfield anyway like I should have to begin with.
Nice people great job on regripping my clubs
I went in here to purchase a set of clubs. I am a beginner and was looking to ask question and get help. I had someone help me for a few minutes then left to take care of someone else who came in after me. I waiting for about an hour and got frustrated and left. I drove over an hour to go to the Chesterfield location to get help and ended up buying everything I needed.
Laughable service at best. Rude staff. Hands down the worst GG I have ever been to.
Very friendly service. Brought my shoes in to get the spikes switched and had them done within 10 minutes.
This place is the bomb got all of my golf wants and more
Pitiful just Pitiful!!!! Was there for 20 minutes and no one asked if i needed help........
