So if you like open fields, rolling hills and cows then this is a great place all of the trails are very well kept up too. Not a lot of trees or shade so make sure to bring water and sunblock. Did most of the tails in one afternoon, mostly easy to do. There was a really nice wind coming from the bay to keep me cool.

Not much shade. The trails are nice and wide, most of them. There are cow trails too. Lots of cow poo too. Overall nice place for a walk or run.

(Note: park is closed during red flag days)I havent even seen this place in spring and Id still call it beautiful. Mostly chaparral with native aromatics growing for that distinct California chaparral scent but only in a few places due to cow pies that are ever present and linger in the air. There are plenty of cows roaming to limit vegetation growth. I see a lot of horseback riding, mountain biking, and running. Im here nearly every weekend since mid-summer (a personal goal of mine). A good variety of hiking difficulty. What is especially neat is if you hike 10+ miles like I do, this park is adjacent to Newell Open Space in Napa County and you can hit those trails too for even more variety. The ridge trails here are awesome, always breezy and cooler than you think it would be. I cant wait to see this place when its green. Most trails are in the open and unshaded. I carry UVA/B blocking umbrella with me just in case I get overwhelmed being in the sun 4+ hours. I also keep some mace on hand in case a mountain lion sees me as lunch. There are tons of blackberry bushes (I admittedly snack on) and tree fruit I cant identify, maybe plum cherries. Benches and picnic tables are everywhere, mostly benches though. Plus theres a few PokémonGo stops and gyms to boot.

Great park! Beautiful hills, especially in the spring. Theres usually not many people there, which is a bonus.

Great for hiking. There are shaded trails and trails with great views of the surrounding areas. This park shares a border with Newell Open Space so you get twice as much space for hiking.Definitely bring water in the summer, wear sunblock, and be prepared for ticks, flies, and mosquitoes.

Excellent afternoon out walking. A little disappointed the hours are only Monday-Friday.Edit my review: I clearly need help as I cant figure out what Friday - Monday means. The park is open weekends and closed Tue-Wed-Thur.

Nice place to hike. There are a lot of cows along the trails. take note that the park closes at 5:00 p.m. which seems a tad early and if you dont get out in time you may get your car locked in the park. If this happens it is a $250 fee to get your car out.

A little short on the shade: only one of the picnic tables has shade over it, and there are only three picnic tables!Very secure: a ranger was on site for several hours when we were there.Great for hikes and horseback riding. This beautiful canyon tucked away in the hills just a little more than a stones throw from Highway 80 is definitely worth a visit. If youre lucky, you might even see a bobcat. :-)

This place has a couple of poka stops that are kind of difficult to reach other than that its not worth going to.

Beware of cows. Nice views, trail we followed wasnt that difficult but there are multiple ways. Parking fee is $6 but we parked outside of the red zone before the turnaround (there were no no parking signs there?).

Hawk Central, lots of resident, migrant and over wintering birds of prey in the region. Great location for hiking, walking, horse riding, wildlife and nature viewing.... look for fall and winter hikes from Larry Broderick and Solano Land Trust, we generally do one a month Sept through March.... check Solano Land Trust website for details..
