Beautiful park despite the duck poop splatter all over the sidewalks and grass, but thats to be expected. If youre planning on sitting in the grass, you may want to bring a blanket to sit on and be prepared to deep clean it afterward! Nice park for birthday parties, sports and picnics.. I do feel that law enforcement needs to make better efforts in targeting drug addicts that like to hangout there, especially when we want to bring our children to play, and the city should put some effort into fixing the broken fence behind the big playground. Ive been going to this park for many years and can say that it is indeed a very chill spot. Right across the street from 7eleven as well which is a plus.

Great beautiful place to hangout and enjoy the walk, ride a bike or roller skating around the lake. Have playgrounds for kids to play and enjoy. Unfortunately, there is no public rest room.

Its beautiful, although no restrooms.. And sad to say, the ponds are getting neglected as theres a lot of garbage in it.

Dover park is a nice place to spend some free time i even practice my archery there, but they could do something about all the duck and geese poop its literally everywhere.....Also its not in the best area.

Glad they cleaned up the mud and water leaks on the walkway. I sat on a bench for the first time in 2 years or more....free of goose poop. Cant fault the birds. Great place to get your walking in.

Travelling to Dunkirk on the Dover ferry early morning so needed a cheap place to stay overnight. Found The Park Inn. Easy to book and checking in was smooth. Bed comfortable and powerful shower. An Indian restaurant attached with a bar you can just have a drink at or enjoy a meal. Very friendly staff. Would stay there again.

We loved seeing all the ducks and turtles in the water. The walk around the park was also very nice .The people around the park not so much.

So much wild life. Canadian Geese, Mallards, Drakes, Egrets, geese, ducks pigeons, seagulls, playground equipment for the kids lots of grass area for picknicing and playing outside games or jogging, walking around the pond, taking pictures good for Birthday party! Prom photos

Great place to feed the ducks or go for a walk but I dont know whose genius idea it was to put a playground next to water. The playground should be enclosed for 2 reasons. One being that small children spend the entire time bolting towards the water, and the 2nd reason being that the geese and ducks poop all over the entire playground. We live down the street and everytime I bring my kids here they cant even go down the slide without sliding through poop, also they come home with their shoes caked in poop from the playground. Now we drive them down the street to a better park.

Baby birds falling out of tree and dieing are uncomfortable for children and some parents

One of our favorite Dover parks, great for fishing and walking. Two separate parking areas and a beach although I would not swim in the lake, kids could still play in the sand. Within walking distance to downtown Dover.

Place is nice except there are lots of dog pooh in most of the grass area. kinda sad that some dog owners does not bother to clean up after their pet.

Picnic tables, two play areas, walking path, basketball court, and a big open field. We had a lot of fun. Perfect for flying kites.

No parking from apt. Across the street. City does nothing.

I like going there and feeding the Ducks the pigeons and the geese they can use a water faucet for the public to get water but its always clean

Baby swings (really only reason to come here, or feeding the ducks), cleaner than before.

Needs a bathroom and a cleaning service to care after the ducks waste.. it covers the sidewalks.. its really onlu for a quick visit or you have to live nearby great for walking to exercise

Nice park for walking yourself or your dog, play area for the kids and a duck pond. Bring bread and the ducks will surround you like zombies!!

A lot of get to people in the late afternoon but its good for the better part of the day

Loved all the different birds. It was fun feeding them. The turtles was a sight even though they would jump I the water when you got close. And the play structures are nice.

Dover park is an icon of Fairfield, Calif.it has all ways been the place to go feed the ducks, as far back as even the 70s .but since ive been back to Fairfield ..they have redone this park into a panoramic beauty..absolutely the best park in this area...I would come a long ways to picknic and relax at this park...

Takes 10-15 mins to walk all around. Street parking is free. Yes. Lots of droppings to avoid. Playground was nice for kids.
