Came tonight for the first time to play smash bro’s and walked out with 4 new friends. The place is very welcoming and the owners are cool and knowledgeable of everything. Definitely will be back. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a gaming community.

Some of the best times Ive had. This place is incredible. 50+ high end computers with very friendly and highly experienced staff always ready to help out with any problems. I honestly cant praise this place enough. The owners are all very approachable and polite. The location is fantastic with lots of good food places nearby allowing for extended game sessions. Pile that in with a very low fee to play and you have yourself The Cave.They also host lots of gaming events like Fireside Gatherings for Hearthstone as well as Mario Smash events, which are both always a blast. Incredible atmosphere with lots of custom art pieces displayed around the store.I honestly cannot praise the Cave enough.

Went there for the first time. The change machine was broken, out of order, and the clerk did not have any change so my family could play games. Total waste of time. Very disappointed.

This place is GREAT!friendly owners and cheap prices! If your in the area and are looking for a place to just game and relax this is the place. Drive 1 hour to get here and will make the drive anytime for the cave! Thanks for the great experience! Definitely worth checking out.

Always fun to game here. Excellent group of folks working hard to provide a safe, clean and fun location for friends to hang out, been in many times and am always ready to go back. My boy Steve at the desk is always polite and courteous when I come in. Their contributions to the community have sealed my opinion of them as good, wholesome people. Working with their local high school and providing special needs students a location to intern and gain real world working experience is invaluable. They are the real deal. I hope to see them stay in business for a long time!The only other LAN center I am aware of is located in Annandale and Cave is without a doubt 100 times better.

Hands down best gaming gaming center in northern Virginia. I dont possibly get how everyone who works can be chill and nice. The pcs are also really good. Love these guys. But the only lady that works here is moody as hell. This place would be much better if she wasnt here.

Love this gaming bar so much. My fiance and I went several times. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is really cool. They just installed some rules that everyone has to abide by and I think they make the space more fun and safer.

I was a regular customer nearly every week at this venue for the past 2 years, minus a few months when I was out of town. Im involved in many different gaming scenes and Ive traveled a lot to other communities. I enjoy supporting events that put an effort in.The problem is, the fighting game events here never start on time, arent properly advertised (so people come out for events to find out they arent happening), and the organizers get offended when people complain about habitual mismanagement. They put their pride in running a tournament over making sure attendees have a great time, and recently they found unrelated reasons to ban a regular attendee after she publicly complained about mismanagement.If you come to an event and pay money for a service, you are allowed to complain if the service isnt up to standard. Despite not being banned myself, I will no longer be supporting a venue that doesnt understand this basic business practice. I hope The Cave Fairfax strongly considers finding new head TOs for their FGC tournaments, because the current ones are costing them regulars.

Best place to come to have a lan session. I come here all the time and the staff is very friendly. Pcs are pretty good and theyre all getting upgrades soon.They have many events out here including super smash, league of legends, dota2 and more.You can coordinate more events.Come check it out!

Cant believe they have Chunithm here! The other rhythm games are connected to the network and work with their respective game cards. (Including ones bought in Japan) however Chunithm was really new when I visited and not online yet just guest play. Amazing find though!

Best place for FGC locals in northern VA

Doesnt smell. Pay per hour on the gaming desktops. Arcade machines take quarters and they cant give you cash back, but there a change machine for bills.

I went for the rhythm games including Jubeat Qubell, Beat Stream, Popn Music, and Sound Voltex for $1/3 songs. Staff were chill and just let us get to playing whatever we wanted. Really nerdy place with Mountain Dew and Doritos.

This place is awesome! The machines work great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. +its open 24 hours so you can fulfill your gaming crave anytime your heart desires! They have tournaments very often and the rates are very reasonable. Been going there for a few months now and I have no reason to look elsewhere.

I go there for the $15 all you can play rhythm game nights. They have many PCs setup for by the hour play. They have events throughout the week such as fighting games, smash night, board games, and every so often some bigger tournaments.Arcade List: Jubeats Clan, Sound Vortex IV, IIDX Cannonballers, Groove Coaster, Museca, Neon FM, Gitadora, Nostalgia, and PopN Music.

Waste of time. People should really learn to interact one on one vs a dimly lit room with competer chairs, speakers and mikes. I just dont understand why anybody would pay extra to waste hours of productive time.

I enjoy going here to play arcade rhythm games. Its 24 hours which means any me I have that urge I can satisfy it. The staff is really laid back which Id kind of a down side of you need help, sometimes it is hard to tell who is staff. I have had one staffer be rude to me but Im not going to hold it against him. I like that this exists and I support it. I also think its really nice they have a selection of snacks available, including ramen. So they got you have fuel covered.

I cant help but feel as if the people working here may be impatient at times when it comes to newcomers. My computer ended up crashing and then denying my code entry. I then had another visit that went well with the computers.

I was waiting for this place to open as soon as it was announced, called in multiple times, months in advance, before it opened to see when the open date would be, the date kept getting delayed. Eventually it opened, spent lots of time there, staff was awesome and friendly, would always go with my friend, you could buy food from the computers, friend had never tried cup noodles before. My friend is now addicted to cup noodles, one of the many reasons it is 4/5 stars. After opening they started putting up posters, I donated a few posters to them but they were never hung up. 4/5 stars. Other than that, pretty good. I might come in later with tons of 15 day free trials for sc2 and WoW from the big box expansions.

Great place for some matched with your friends. The system is a bit messy as you have to get out of the game to controll the volume and the volume buttons in the keyboard wont work. It may glitch out a few times but its not that often. You can get drinks or a snack from the workers or go to the restaurants nearby. They play pretty good music and the prices are pretty good. If you are a bit short the mouse and keyboard may be a bit uncomfortable but you get used to it. Some gamers around the places might be a bit noisy though so that can become annoying. Other than that it is a great place to play with your friends

The staff are very friendly and the prices are ok. You can play alot of games smoothly @60 fps. The only reason why I gave it a 4* is because of the headset provided with each pc. They were ok but I can hear everything around me. Sometimes when there are a lot of people in the center, i cant hear the game properly cuz the headset doesnt block the outside noise andthe mic picks up all the sounds around. Upgrading the headsets would be fantastic

Good pcs, but too many loud fortnite kids and people playing anime arcades.

Went to the Cave during quiet, slow Thursday evening to play some IIDX Cannon Ballers and Jubeat. But all the music games arcades volume were extremely low, much lower than normal. When I asked a staff about the problem, he said if the volume was louder it will disturb other customers on the PCs behind the IIDX machine. And he suggested me to use headphones..Its pointless and extremely unsatisfied to play music games arcades when you can barely hear the music (EVEN during quiet hours when I went! Imagine if I were playing during busy tournament events) plus you cant even adjust the volume at all.The fact is, these expensive, extravagant music games arcade machines clearly deserves a better home than this place.

The fat white lady（with tatto on her chest） that works in the front desk is an absolute mess. Very rude and unprofessional also disrespectful at the same time. I have no clue how she got the job at the first place but we will definitely not coming back again because of her..

The Cave was really fun to go hang out with friends. The gaming gear is top notch and they even have snacks delivered to your computer if you want them, so pretty perfect for a LAN event.

I go here all the time, no tax on anything, have snacks at decent price, and near restaurants. The only problem I have is the smokers, but thats not the company, just the people. Asthmatics like myself just need to get in and its fine.

To be honest i only visited the place because i was bored and looking around universty mall. Little did i know gamers paradise was just around the corner. Also there was a guy passed out on the couch from an all night game binge so it must be a good place.

PC gaming paradise. 144Hz screens and top of the line specs tailor made for CSGO. Also has a console area mainly for Smash 4. Close to food places and GMU as well! $30 bucks for 12 hours is pretty worth it.

This is an internet cafe that has the valve complete pack on steam only. There are very little arcade machines here. Jubeat is here and a limited amount of others. Going here for the arcade itself isnt that much worthwhile. I rather go to a Dave and Busters or round 1 instead. Some of the gaming machines have either lag or sounds issues. Literally, not the best of equipment here. Low prices to use the gaming machines. The arcade machines are around $1 to play each.

Im a Battlefield 3 player and this game center is the only one in the DMV that actually uses gaming rigs. Ive played with ultra video settings with no lag and the 144hz monitors improved my k/d so much. The chairs arent busted, the bathrooms clean, no disgruntled employees, no homeless people camped out, no drunks fighting, all round gaming center designed for gamers.

It was alot of fun...employees were nice and I had smooth set up process played with a buddy of mine for a couple hours on a random friday night after a convention...really love the 24 hours
