Great place for craft items and holiday decor! Best to go during sales, a little on the pricey side for decor items.

Its great store that usually has everything you need for bringing your ideas to life, so to speak. But be aware, theres always a line, not due to many customers, but cashiers are taking so much of their sweet little time to serve single person with just a couple of items, that you got enough time to have a lunch. But stuff is sweet, I just wish they would move a little bit quicker.

I highly recommend this Michaels! When I went to the checkout lady, she noticed I was buying one size of elastic bands (for clothing modifications) and asked if I would like to look at the different sizes because she had some that were still being put away and I didnt see them on the shelf. I was able to trade out some of the sizes I needed. She was super sweet and extremely helpful! Thank you so much check out lady!

Found what I was wanting, but when I went to pay the girl asked me if I had rewards with them, I put in the phone number I thought was on record and it wasnt the right number, and the girl said nope you dont. and hit the amount to pay, and said that will be this amount.she Didn t even bother to ask if I might have a different number or would I like to sign up to get rewards. Just told me the final cost to pay.

Huge selection very well stocked. The checkout line was so long I ended up leaving without my purchase.

It has great cheap canvases perfect for practicing oil painting but I do wish they had a wider variety of oil painting supplies.

Terrible environment. I was treated extremely poorly by beth when asking a simple question - it was as if she didnt want to be there nor answer my question as she rolled her eyes multiple times throughout the conversation. never going here again!!

We really enjoy browsing through Michaels... especially at Christmas time. They always have great sales on their holiday accessories. We even have found deals on Christmas cards too.In the past, I used to frame up sports memorabilia, and Michaels had everything I needed to get my projects done. Weve also had good luck with building photo albums too.Michaels also offers great coupons and deals through email and text messaging.

Be careful when you buy something that says its on sale. You have to be very exact and looking at each tag, not simply go by the sign on the bend. They have a habit of mixing non sale items in with the sale items so that you pay full price when you get to the register

There was a lady there that was putting away merchandise... Well she was awesome because I had asked her a question about where coloring books where. She took me there physically and on my way I made a joke and she giggled at it! Most people just look at me super rude but she didnt she was great!

Customer Svc rep/cashier was very helpful and directed me to just the right product for the DIY repair.

Great variety of items for all types of crafts, the stor is always clean and the employees are friendly and helpful.

They almost always have what Im looking for but the people NEVER talk to me at this store. Whether I have kids with me, no kids, dressed up, dressed down, in a hurry, or taking my time...they NEVER help. They will try to avoid EYE CONTACT in order to not help. The few times I ASK for help, like where something is, they direct me to specific aisles but the product is NEVER there. Ill spend another 20 minutes looking myself and find it nowhere near where they said. The other day I asked a lady a paint question, she said she didnt know and called someone to come to that section to help me but after 10 minutes (and at least FOUR associates walking by), that person never came so I left.

I recently went here to buy macrame cord the store was a disaster and there was product all over the place, I work in customer service and I notice when a store looks nice and Michaels did not. The reason I will never go back is not for the mess it was because when I found an employee to ask for help she quickly walked past me ignoring me when I clearly was standing in front of her to get help. when I followed her she didn’t stop or slow down. I asked where the macrame cord was and she said they don’t sell it there and kept going practically running away from me.I’m sorry that I was bothering you while you were working in a customer service job HAZEL but I deserve a respectful encounter. Moments after I bothered Hazel at her job I found the macrame cord on the shelf! So they do sell it. Then at checkout the cashier was not wearing a mask that covered her nose and mouth it was dangling under her chin and when I told another employee they did not ask the cashier to put on a mask and cover their nose and mouth. I understand working during a pandemic is challenging i myself have not had any time off during the pandemic but being respectful to paying customers is easy to do.I will not shop at this store ever again.

Insanely expensive. $40 for a yard of fabric. Or some plastic container. Good selection overall but only for emergencies. Regular arts & crafts shopping needs to be done elsewhere.

I loved it! The place is well organized and well lit. Clean floors too, I used to see a lot of junk on the floor before. Its been a while since Ive been but Ill likely be back soon.They dont have much resin stuff for making jewelery but so many other things for jewelry making is available.The cashier gave me a member discount of 50% off one item. I should have used it on something else but I did get really beautiful stickers for cheap!I recommend for all crafts projects for sure.

Ridiculous prices. They add Sale signs to everything, but even then prices are still extremely high considering most is plastic, high volume, very low quality product.

This is my go-to crafting store. I can almost always find the materials for the crafts that Im trying to make and they offer some great coupons on regularly priced and sale items. And right now, so close to Halloween, I got some great deals on Halloween decorations. The cashiers have always been friendly and make checking out quick and simple. We recently had to return some merchandise and they even made that easy for us.

The employees here are absolutely dishonest and rude. I understand that during this pandemic everyone is having to do things a bit differently but ignoring your phone 5 minutes before closing and then lying to your customers and just closing the door on them is not a good way to build customers.

They had everything I needed for my project. Kept going back for more.Following CDC guilelines, requiring mask, distancing, signage and floor markings.

I swear the people who work here are so nice. They are some of the nicest people who Ive ever experienced while at any store. The lay out is nice and not maze like, like some Michaels. They have a lot of workshops going on for all ages which is a plus for everyone. And they always have great deals going on. You cant beat their prices.

This is a fairly large location and usually have in stock what Im looking for and even what I didnt know I was looking for! Always great deals and there is ALWAYS a coupon on their website or the Michaels app, at least 40% a regular priced item.

I have always loved this store so much because it was right by Barnes and Noble. So it was a craft store right next to a book store. I dont know about you but thats my kinda party!

This Michaels was very clean, incredibly organized, and the sales people are very friendly and helpful! I live farther south, but I will gladly drive extra to get to this location, as it is much better then the Carmel Mountain or Poway ones.

I love my Michaels. I prefer it over Hobby Lobby hands down. They always have what I need, and nite of what I want. I just wish some of the customers would READ their coupons before they try to use them, and let the rest of us get through the line!

Very busy but they had every register open which was nice. I didnt find what i was looking for but they did help me think of another idea and helped me find the items to complete that project. Very helpful people that work there.

Michaels always has great deals on crafts. Constant sales on things you need now not 2 weeks after the holidays. Plus great coupons. Some stores are changing to Michaels Aaron brothers so they are losing some of the craft items I usually shop for there. But great selection of art supplies.

Michaels in Escondido has a large selection of Christmas items. Many are going quickly. Shop early for the best selection. This week ALL craft boxes are 50% off. Supplies were plentiful. Check out line moved quickly.

The staff is extremely helpful and friendly at this location and kindly ask if I need help looking for something every time I go (which is often). This store has such a big selection and I am able to find everything on my list. Also there are many different deals every week so I would recommend this store for your artsy & crafty needs.

Just love it, pricey but inspiring

I needed some glue and I bought some crazy glue. It was dried out so I exchanged it and the second bottle was dried out as well. The staff was patient and really helped to ensure that my needs were met. Because of all the trouble I went through I was afforded a discount on the Krazy Glue that I bought. I didnt ask for the discount but they wanted to make sure that I knew they cared.

The inventory is great. The service is always slow. Be prepared.

Love love love Michaels. You can find anything and everything for your projects. Customer service is great. They keep up the cleanliness of the store for how busy it gets which is surprising. Prices are reasonable. I can always find a coupon but only bad thing is that the coupon is hard to use because they always have everything on sale.

Always go on their website before shopping for at least a 40% off regular priced item coupon. Its usually always available online and you can show it on your mobile device when paying. This store has so many things beyond what a creative/crafty person could possibly imagine. Even a clean in store bathroom which makes shopping with my small kids an even better experience.

All checkouts were open. Yay.What looks like a long line, turned out to be a five-minute line I was very pleased! Especially at this time of year. Still a great selection of Christmas stuff.
