First time. Nice woods walk. Would be nice to have trail mapped on map at trail head and/or blazed. Probably several hundred feet down to Creek.

Nice wide trails, not too muddy after the rain. The creek was very high and fast though we visited after over 24 hours of rain. Parking lot is very big and the park was easy to find. Trails were easy mostly and good for hiking with dogs. There were several fire rings though I am not sure what the rules are for the park but it definitely appears that people hang out in the park.

Nice hike. Some trails to start off then they end. It can be an easy short hike or if youre going for a long hike prepare to cross the creek a few times. Very enjoyable 90 min. hike to Interstate 90.

Just got done wondering around the park for the first time. Absolutely loved that it wasnt built up like Asbury Woods! It reminded us of hikes we have done outside of Erie. My dog was also able to go everywhere I did. There were a decent amount of cars in the parking lot, but we barely ran into anyone which was nice during the stay-at-home order. I refuse to go back to Asbury Woods because it was so hard to stay away from people. I will definitely going back and my fiance plans on doing training runs back there for the Oil Creek 50k.

An awesome and seemingly not well known park. Every time Ive been here its usually just me and one or two other cars. The trail is well kept and easy enough to hike. Keep in mind that the end of the trail is a steep climb up the gorge using ropes. You can avoid this by going back the way you came.Make sure to go down stream if you have the ability to, theres some beautiful flumes and small waterfalls on the creek.

A truly hidden gem in Harborcreek - a fantastic place year round with great views, maintained trails and a variety of flora and fauna to encounter. The township hosts events there throughout the year and it is ever expanding. There are no bathroom facilities, but there are trash cans to help keep the area clean and a maintained parking lot. A MUST see place - over 400 acres of uninterrupted wildlife beauty!

Great place for an hour or so hike. There are 2 trailheads that will meet up about a 15 minute walk into the woods. The trails will then head down to the creek embankment and you will be able to follow the creek. Beautiful spot to spend some time. The shale surrounding the river has a lot of brachiopod fossils.

Nice little park. It is open to the public, located down a rural, residential road amidst a whole lot of corn fields. It is also located very close to the freeway. The trails, FYI, are NOT accessible for wheelchairs, and the footing is very unsteady in most places. The creek is the main reason this park exists. Much of the walkways are sloping because the property is entirely along the creek. The trails are not well marked but the place is so small it would be difficult to get truly lost (just follow the creek bed ).I went when the water was not high, and it was quite easy to walk along the loose flat rocks littering the creek everywhere. The south side of the creek has some cliff-like edges, which appear to create mini-waterfalls (but likely only evident after rainy periods). Also the rock walls along the steep edges of the creek are very curious, the layering of the exposed rock is fantastic. You dont need alot of time there, but if you are able/willing to wear shoes that can be submerged in the creek water, youll have a fun time.
