This place was absolutely awesome if you have a child under 5 it is a must stop if you are within an hour. Not only did it have all kinds of cool interactive things that he was allowed to not only touch but he could do whatever he wanted with them. Its 3 floors jampacked with fun for the kids, and a safe enviroment where you dont have to worry about what they touch because they are supposed to touch it. Ive got to say his favorite part was the second floor there they have a stage and a whole bunch little costumes to dress up in and kind of like a mini town with a Wegmans a bank a doctors office at a train station and he literally played for three hours with a bunch of other kids just pretending it was amazing 5 * experience a must go

Cute fun place for little kids. Not so great during the covid 19 pandemic though. Especially on a week day. My son is 7 and he is just a little past the time when this stuff is going to fun I woukdnt bring a kid older than 6 if I had a do over. It would be great for toddler/preschool age though. There are hardly any kids at all to play with though due to the pandemic. The staff here is super nice and helpful and theyre on the ball when it comes to keeping everything picked up and wiped down too.

From the moment we walked in, there was lots for the kids to do. There are hooks for coats and the staff is helpful in rearranging items after the kids are done playing. The displays are interactive and the kids learn without realizing that they are learning. I will certainly be revisiting with my 4 year old.

We were there for a birthday party and the kids, ages 5,6&7 all had a wonderful time. The pizza was tasty and the kids enjoyed the gift bags that the museum provided. This was our first experience there and it was a positive one. We will definitely return here again.

Je
Review №13

Not the greatest children’s museum, but they’re trying! The gift shop is equipped with cheap toys. There are a lot of cool features such as the water play area, the little Wegman’s, and the cave, but the other parts aren’t well taken care of. The bottom floor where the arts and crafts are had no paint, dried up markers, etc. There was hardly anything to “create” with as nothing was restocked. There were some Legos and a giant connect four game. It’s hardly considered a museum, albeit the sparse informative placards sporadically placed throughout, but maybe a hands on activity center.

A wonderful childrens museum that is 3 floors with everything from water play, trains, pretend play in a small town (including a Wegmans which is the best play grocery you could imagine), science experiment type stations and an area for arts and crafts. My have visits a lot of childrens museums and we were both very entertained and impressed! More than enough to keep our 3 year old fully engaged for a couple of hours.

Have been here many times, starting when my oldest was about 2. Last week with just my youngest son who is 9. He couldnt remember coming here so its been awhile, but he saw the Wegmans display, he remembered that! We stayed almost 2 hours, so there was plenty to keep him occupied. Id have to say that the water table on the main floor has always been our favorite exhibit. This was our first time seeing the new outdoor garden and that was really nice, too! Hope to visit again!

Visited Erie, PA with my 4 year old granddaughter in July, 2018. The Childrens Museum was wonderful. There were so many activities for her to do spread over 3 floors. It kept her busy for over 2 hours and she would have stayed longer if we had more time. This place is perfect for kids up to about 8 years old. Well be back in Erie in August and will definitely return.

Ive loved this place since I was a kid and getting to take a kid there as an adult is still just as exciting! There are countless fun, interactive, and informational things for kids to do. Theres even an outdoor section with different flower beds, musical instruments like kettle drums and giant metal and wooden xylophones, building blocks and more! The price for admission is also not bad at all, $15 as an adult and you can stay as long as you want. Vending machines towards the main entrance and there are lavatories designed for children as well. (If youre an adult, I suggest not using them as theyre pretty low to the ground!)If youre looking for something to do on a rainy day or just in the area, its absolutely worth checking out!
