Headwaters Park is lovely! We are not local, but are regular visitors. The trails are varied, and the environmental education focus is well executed, with to-the-point graphics and a host of interesting and meaningful examples of construction, conservation, and gardening. It is right off the highway, so is a perfect stop for lunch, a quick dog walk, or a respite from the bustle.

Great place to go hiking/ geocaching. Not many people know about it. Its kind of secluded and off the beaten path. Smaller park but it seems the city is trying to improve it and more changes are coming. Also great apple trees but you gotta look for them.

We locals like to keep this place hidden only because its a hidden gem. Good trails and one of the few places to see old growth trees. If you like birds...well your in luck. The trails can be short or you can walk the long way around and see old trees and lush wetlands.

Quiet place for a walk, great for dog walking or just on your own. Has a pavilion in the woods near the creek.

Iv
Review №56

A variety of trails through the woods for hiking that were well maintained. A relaxing spot that looks like it gets a lot of use for walking dogs, but its clean. The educational signs throughout the are badly neglected and little more than clique in what they say. I think the park could be improved most by taking those signs down.

su
Review №57

Beautiful walking pathways and bridges. Wet season, bring your hiking shoes not your sneakers. Sneakers will work if your careful. Use the bridges and your fine. Lovely walk, signs that explain the types of bridges
