A real jewel of a spot. Compliments to all who worked to preserve a piece of Native Texas

Its a nice little trail but when we went it was completely overgrown. The grass was way too high for small kids.

This new area will evolve into a wonderful experience. I hope there are plans to add places to sit, and sanctuaries for wildlife to thrive. Im picturing a place like Coyote Bluff in Amarillo Texas!

Usually not maintained year round. However, the city of Ennis does start maintaining it when blue bonnet season comes. Mainly so the few people who come here to look at the blue bonnets may trample everything. Watch out for the abundant poison ivy
