Great park but it still needs to police supervised.
It was very peaceful environment...theres a playground for the little kiddos...a state park for those that are brave enough to venture into the possibility of breaking a bone & a trail-like sidewalk to carelessly stroll through the park...I highly suggest checking it out by yourself or with the whole family.
They re paved the basketball court and the skate park is nice. A lot of field too.
Good place to bring the kids in the day time...
Went to the skatepark for the mini ramp which was awesome. The rest of the park is pretty small with only a few metal obstacles inside a chained link fence. Some shade, but the grassy area is steps away.
We like to visit and sit on the stone benches and feed the squirrels, ducks and geese.
This park is great for dogs, skateboard and bikes. It has a large covered picnic area with BBQs.
Very great park. skate. hoop. grill. chill. smonk. ducks in the fake pond.
Great place to BBQ with my street homies!
Quiet little park. As of June 2020 its still taped of in yellow tape sorry no play ground yet but still a nice place to walk around & get out of the house for a bit
Half the park is always dirty with trash all over the place and there is always a lot of homeless people hanging out there. The other half of the park is clean and neat.
Just a great park for all ages with a skate park
Alright park for the most part, besides that transiete junkies
Nice park when homeless dont take over mens bathroom.
A lot of rif raf living in this park.
Skate park. Duck pond. Restrooms on site. Right by a bus stop and located near the light rail. Peaceful and beautiful views of the Rocky mountains.
Hands down the most memorable park from my childhood. I cant think of a trick I didnt learn inside the chain link fence. An epic park for all levels of riders.
I had alot fun here
It did not have the flowers placed like they have on the past
This is where the homeless frequently visit. Just saying this is where family and kids are supposed to enjoy themselves. The neighborhood isnt the greatest which teens cause trouble, the homeless drink and well over the past few years parks like this one you see a decrease in families. Unlike ruby hill where as trouble is always taken care of quickly. Hope this helps. Have an awesome dayPeace out
Cute little place to relax and bring the family.
Nice park too bad the picnic tables are always filled with people smoking crack, kind of a turn off for taking your kids to play. This wasnt a one time occurrence, weve been here three times in the last 6 months and Everytime. Need a cop to be going by once in a awhile.
Its a quiet place usually
For a Denver area park this one has seen much better days. Lots of things leftover, cigarette packs throughout, trash everywhere, needles. All things that tell you to leave. Drive a few more minutes away, its worth it
Nice park for open area activities. Im able to practice with my team without much disturbance. The toilet could use a little more cleaning.
Ive been hanging out at this park since the early 80s. This is the perfect location and nestled in a quiet neighborhood. I had birthday parties for both my kids and picnics with girlfriends past. Great memories and the park looks just as good now than it did when I was a teenager.
I was visiting from Oklahoma and wanted to walk around. It was nice and clean and pleasant
The skate park is amazing the people are super nice
Its a very nice skatepark, with very nice people.
Great for big familys really had fun
Great place to hang out
I love Parks with lakes. Something about the water makes me appreciate nature.
An awesome place to be and play it is sad that there are so many bees though I still like Cushing Park it is one of the best parks ever
One of the most enjoyable and peaceful parks through out colorado
Isnt the wholesome park it used to be when I was little. Would not let a younger kids be here by themselves any more.
Beautiful place and I loved it
The transient derelict population would be much more welcome if they were more amicable which prevents the park from getting 5 stars as they have a great skate park and they have a great playground for the kids and you can reserve the par for large parties. Theres also an Amphitheater for large group presentations or impromptu concertstheres a lake but the presence of fish is questionable though.
Its old school loved this place since I was a kid
Fun and a lot ok pokestops
I only go here to catch the bus.
Lots of homeless crowding the bathrooms and close to the kids.. mad me nervous. Park is pretty and fun to bbq and hang with fam..
This is a nice open park not to big has a nice place to grill and picnic at with the park for the little kids and a open field as well as the skate park and small pond there a fair sized parking
Rats coming up to the picnic tables were not cool
Nice little skate park and open green fields for the dogs to chase a ball in. Ducks are always hanging out in the pond too!
Nice park decent clearing
Cute park, skate park, picnic areas. I like taking my dog here (on leash, of course) because it has fences on 2 sides.
We have spent many many days here having BBQs and playing volleyball. Love this park.
This will be the only review i make..only reason why is bc the man i was with is in heaven now n we had a remembrance for him at cushing park were his friends and i hung out at all the time..i love you to the moon and back Daddy.. always n 4 ever in my heart..wish u can come bck home..baby.. ill see you soon..
It was nice as we crossed the bridge it became apparent it was over populated by homeless. We paid no mind we were there to let the kids play. Then all males that were there headed to the mens bathroom. It was odd that 8 grown men went to the. Bathroom together. Later my son had to potty told my spouse Ill take him to the ladies becuse the mens was full as we walk in to the ladies restroom the stench was horrid . Me and my 5yr walked into a lady tweaking out on the toilet. Saw needles on the floor. Rushed out told my spouse lets go, he agreed. This park isnt safe for anyone.
Been awhile since I have been here, butt good
Nice park to bring your kids I went there as a kid..
Nice park
Its a small quiet park that I love going to with my grandson.
Stop here to let my dog use bathroom and stretch of legs when in area. She likes to watch the kids on the skate ramps too. Cool, pretty park. Lately alot of homeless, dirty needles all over including bathrooms, empty alcohol bottles, etc
Super fun park, skatepark is super small though
Best small park ever
Great little park including playground bball court and a skatepark w mini- ramp. Been skateboarding here for 20 years and still love it
Grass doesnt dry out after rain and becomes swampy. Poor drainage. Bathrooms are dirty and nasty. Homeless have moved into shelters.
The biggest problem was the cops bugging people
No recollection. Looks pretty.
This is a green space near downtown Denver that still remains an under utilized and entirely underratedpark that has within it the nostalgic Cushing Skate Park.
Homeless guy n bathroom blocking sink was really nice moved his drug needles out of the way so i could wash my hands ..... And the dog blocking the toilet was extremely nice
Dont touch the grass or water both are non-potable.
Great
Very clean and welcoming park. The bathrooms are clean, but rarely have paper, and never have doors. Also, parking can be very tricky!
Its not a bad park, especially in the warmer months. Theres a skate park, a duck pond, a few playgrounds, a picnic area, and bathrooms.
Good patk and well kept. The hills make it muddy after rain and snow.
Very small, but super smooth.
Well kept. Horse shoe pits, picnic area, playground.
Love this local Englewood park it does its job, theres a skatepark there as well.
Nice skate park the benches and picnic tables have plug one so you can charge your phones very convenient
The Mello mini ramp is the reason I enjoy this spot
This is q beautiful Park. So peaceful, clean and a great place to just hang out..
Very well kept
Nice place just to relax
Park use to be a decent park but with lots of newbies in town the park looks disgraceful not to mention homeless people took over which makes it look run down and trashy
Very small park with older style metal ramps. All transition is for intermediate skaters or higher, no banks. Overall, just not much room to do anything.
The locals in the area are mean hateful and vindictive plus they like to call Cops if you dont do what they tell you to in their park
It was alright not great
Ive been visiting this park since I was a kid. I have brought my kids and grandkids here and we all enjoy it!
I would stay away from Cushing Park if I were you. I took my grand daughter there a few months ago and while she was playing on the swings I saw an obviously mentally disabled man go to the play ground and take a piss right there.Of course we were horrified and left immediately. In the parking lot was the van that had transported him and a group of disabled people to the park with 2 women inside. I went to the van and asked if they were supposed to be in charge of the disabled people. They were, but they were in the van completely ignoring the situation. I told them what had happened and they got out and went to the group they were supposedly watching. We left, never to return. It was disgusting and sad.
Their is a really big field where you can play baseball, soccer, football. And their is a basektball court
Off the street parking. The area is pretty. I liked it but lots of drug addicts frequent the area and make it a little uncomfortable.
Lived in Englewood my whole life I have never seen Cushing parks Pond empty before. Also all of the benches to be able to sit out and eat were completely gone... Very upsetting...
Pass good on my way to work. Seems nice, quiet
My family go here often and we love it.
Love the skate park.
Nice park but lost of dirty needles. It does have geese!!
Smoke that cush haha
I prefer for my bathroom stalls to have doors.
We love this park. Great for family events, kids and animals.
It was kinda cool
Nice park near Englewood station. Small playground and small skate park, multiple pavilions with lots of picnic tables. Restrooms and a tiny steam pond with crawfish
Great neighborhood Green space and close to restaurants etc.
Cool half pipe but thats about it
Took my 3 year old daughter there to play and walked up on a large group of men, obviously doing and dealing hard drug!!! NOT A SAFE PLACE FOR CHILDREN!!!
