We saw John Tuff and Friends tonight. They are very talented and accomplished country and Western musicians. Always enjoy their show!
I was extremely disappointed in the show that I went to see this evening it’s a wonderful life I was expecting a play and all I got was people standing on stage reading off of Scripps, I didn’t think that was much of a play. The voices and the sound effects were great but it wasn’t what I expected it wasnt a play. It’s a wonderful life is my favorite Christmas story and I was just so disappointed we didn’t even stay for the whole thing.
We have been attending plays there regularly for three years or so. Always enjoyable and well done. A great way to spend the evening.
I have attended 5 shows this year with three friends. Amazing cast.
Saw Old Love and it was great. Well written and acted. The Lemon Bay Playhouse a is a little gem of a theater. It was our first time there and we will be back.
First time there......small, intimate theater. There were eight of us, and we all had a great time. Saw the Norm Foster play, Looking. A very enjoyable evening.
We had a whole lotta good laughs or small crowd funny only been there once but it was funny
Nice small local theater. the play was enjoyable. would definitely go back
Great small town theatre. The actors are very talented.
Charming, intimate, friendly staff, have loved performing here for many years! Intimate, a little over 80 seats, so get your season tickets early.
The acoustics were very good and the seats were comfortable. The performers did a very good job on the comedy Untill Beth do we part
BEST LITTLE THEATER IN THE AREA!!!!Last night I was lucky enough to attend Lemon Bay Playhouses latest production of this season. Its a hilarious comedy called LYING IN STATE. I laughed so hard, went home with a belly ache from laughing!!!!Ably directed by Ric Goodwin, the cast was just phenomenal!Judy Tilley who played the demanding role of Edna, portraying the ex-wife of the deceased, did a great jobTrish Campbell absolutely captured the role of Buttons, (who seems to have been more than a playmate to most men in the play and then some,) and being that this was her first appearance on this particular stage, I can only hope that she will return for many, many more plays.Judy Glynn also was great in the role of Margo, being cast as the supposedly grieving widow, but happy that her husband Marty is gone, so I have to say that all the ladies were in top form.Henry Reisinger, Jr. played Wally, the son of the Governor (Fred) and this is turn was played by Gary Seddon, Jim Manns portrayed Herb and Bob La Salle was Harry. All these gentlemen did marvelous jobs with those sometimes demanding roles. In these times of so much tragedy and unhappiness in the world, what a refreshing way to add some levity and allow everyone to go home with a smile on their faces. This was just a very, very funny play!KUDOS TO ALL INVOLVED!!!!
What a fun little community theater for great comedy from talented locals! Next up, a farce: Till Beth Do Us Part, June 5 through 23. Hilarious!!!
Small theatre in Englewood, Florida, a very cozy environment-even sitting at the very back, I had no problem hearing the actors & actresses, and I have very poor hearing. Local talent used, and casting calls include the general public. I truly enjoyed my visit & the play was well done.
We saw The Last Of The Red Hot Lovers, tonight, and it was excellent! The cast was stupendous, the theatre intimate, and the staff was wonderful. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you for a lovely evening out!
Very good actors and the play was very funny.
What a delightful evening. Great cast and play. Will do it again. Next time, Cabernet Sauvignon..
Wonderful local(albeit tiny) playhouse. Prices are fair with a wide variety of shows throughout the year.
Great show, very entertaining. Casting very well done and actors performed at a high caliber. Very professional.
Local playhouse so performances are local actors so dont plan on anything more. Fun time for evening out & its nice to support the community
This is a gem of a place. Literally a little theater, seats around 100. The plays and all the volunteers that make it all happen are topnotch. You should go.
Small, but very nice theater.
