DLance Golf

Got rejected from my appointment for being 10 minutes late. Im fully capable of accepting the consequences of a policy WHEN THEY ARE CLEARLY OUTLINED. However, neither on my multiple appointment confirmations nor on the Dlance Golf website does it outline such a harsh late policy. Keep in mind I was the first appointment, only had an hour and a half session for a driver fitting (not to mention I drove an hour to get to this place due to a solid reputation, not sure where that comes from...) I just have a real hard time believing the gentlemen who was going to fit me couldnt have done a sufficient job in an hour 15 minutes.He even had the audacity to say he wouldnt be able to eat lunch if he accepted me this late... what a joke.I ended up going to PGA Superstore, they were able to squeeze me in and find the right driver for me, better off spending your money there!

I have been a DLance customer for many years and bought all my clubs there. I bring in my driver periodically to see how it compares to whats new. This year the distance and dispersion numbers jumped and I bought a Callaway Mavrik. The first time I used it (yesterday) I was hitting my drives longer and straighter than I have in years. I figure I was getting 20 extra yards and I only missed 2 fairways. I could have bought a Mavrik off the shelf for less money, but I would always doubt that I had maximized my potential.

DLance has been my go-to golf fitter in the Denver area for the past 4 years. My major reasons for choosing DLance was a) Trackman fitting with the golf ball I use (not a range ball), b) having the ability to try most any shaft and clubhead, and c) the non-OEM building of clubs to my specs (eg frequency matching - not just going by the shaft band flex rating). My first job was club building at Golfsmith. Few fitters around the area/country sort each component and build it to true spec.The lifetime fitting has been priceless, and Ive used it over these past 4 years. I never feel like Im being pushed for a sale. Ive had clubs that performed well over time and there isnt a push to buy a club just because its new. Dans expertise in fitting has been invaluable. Lastly, the proof is in the results: my index dropped from the 6s down to 4, and I won my flight of the stroke play championship at my club. I think anyone passionate about golf should give DLance strong consideration.

They have a good selection of equipment, but their work is very inconsistent. Ive been there a few times. Last time I went to fit a driver shaft in an existing Callaway driver. I ended up with a $400+ shaft. Got home and found they had changed out the factory tip adjustment mechanism for a used one (or perhaps after-market) of a different color on which the markings are extremely hard to read! The club has not worked well either. I get the impression theyre mainly interested in up-selling expensive shafts.

PJ was great. Love my clubs. They always seem very interested in helping me improve my game. Highly recommended.

Great place for the Colorado golfer

I purchased lessons here and all I was taught was how to bandage my problem and not work on actually fixing it. I was made to feel like my time wasnt important. Out of 5 lessons I paid for I only used 4 of them and can care less about the last one. Honestly I purchased a driver from a competitor and while testing out the club their head pro gave me free advice and taught me what I needed to do in one hour. Ive used this technique every time I play and couldnt be happier with the results and lower score. Dlance is good for club fitting and thats it.

The staff at DLance is terrific.It was a great experience and well worth the time and money.Since receiving my new clubs( just had shafts replaced) my game improved.By changing shafts, my accuracy and distance improved. I gained about 10 yds per club w my irons.Prior to going thru the fitting process w P.J. I was a non believer.Best investment in my golf game in 40 yrs.I will never buy another set of clubs off the rack.

I have been going to DLance for 7 years now. PJ fitted me on that first day, with the system they use. Then he re-shafted my KZG ZO blades, and built my woods. I play forged irons, which need to be 7.5 degrees upright for me. Those dont usually stay at 7.5 degrees up for very long, as much as I use them. And PJ is really the only person alive that I let tune my gear.I cannot recommend these guys enough. When you are ready to get your game to the next level, go and have PJ compile the data on your total swing duration, and your load-up, and the duration of your release, and the lie angle you need, et cetera, and let him put together a set of irons in which every single club in your bag both matches your swing, and feels just like EVERY other iron in the bag.DLance is the cure for Geeze, I can really smack my five iron, but I cant hit anything else.If you love golf, spend the money. Get fitted here. Get the best feeling set of clubs ever made -FOR YOU.
