This is a really nice centrally-located park in Elmhurst. Easy to get to riding bikes, by car, and even walking from points in Elmhurst N of North Ave. The playground has features for kids of all ages, plenty of open space, and plenty of areas to roam around. It is also not too far from libraries and shopping and dining in center city.

Beautiful park with several nice museums/buildings to visit. We were there for the Art in Wilder Park Festival. Lots of excellent art, crafts, music, and food vendors. Well worth checking out. Parking is scarce so prepare for a bit of a walk from where you park to get to Wilder Park.

A great place to bask in the beauty of nature with gorgeous, seasonal flower arrangements, have a nature walk, and take photos.

Already have bathrooms reopened which allows for a longer visit to the park than most parks that have not yet reopened bathrooms. The playground is a good mix of sun and shade. I forgot to bring sand toys which are great if your kiddos want to dig and build.

This park has just about anything and everything ! Large walking path around, tennis courts, huge playground, public restrooms and a nice picnic table area. It’s very well maintained and taken care of. Great place for just about anyone and everyone.

This was my first visit to Wilder Park, but I hope it isnt my last. There are a number of cultural amenities in the immediate vicinity, the Wilder Mansion, the Conservatory, the Elmhurst Art Museum, and the campus of Elmhurst College directly across the street. There was plenty of available parking with no time limits. The park is within walking distance of a nearby shopping area. I picked up coffee and pizza and met a friend in the park to talk. There were numerous picnic tables to use and everything is well shaded.

Clean, large play area and seating. Many of the neighborhood kids, schools and summer program us the park. When Ive been there, it has always been lively with children playing and laughing.

I went to school across the street for 4 years and it took 5 years after I went to Elmhurst to enter this building. It is very interesting to be in such a very distinguished building. I cannot speak to other functions this house can hold but I went here for a good friends wedding. It was a very warm, inviting and intimate location to get married. There are two large rooms that can hold 50+ people comfortably. Great place for pictures of any occasion. Besides wedding pictures, prom, homecoming and photo shoots would look great here and the surrounding area.

It was ok... Not big not a variety of flowers but warmer than the outside... My lovely friend hired a wonderful photographer to take family photos... The pics came out vibrant. The flowers popped...

Nice small park adjacent to a number of interesting things. Elmhurst Art Museum and the Elmhurst library at the North end. Wilder Mansion and conservatory at the south East corner. Elmhurst College on the West side. Also a 5 minute or so walk to the Elmhurst downtown business district. Go have a picnic in the park at Wilder Park.

A nice place to visit. Has a nice view. I spent 3 hours here when I was making a music video of My Baby by Chris buja.

Went to Ladies Night Out at Wilder Mansion. Was FANTASTIC! My friends and myself had a wonderful time. That was my first time there and we are going to go every year...Other suburbs should have this function for ladies. Had a 10 min massage, out of this world. The food tasting was absolutely delicious....the wine .. well that was great. Several restaurants we are going to go to now. They had great taste samples, delicious

This is the first time Ive ever been in Elmhurst, and I came to the park and the public library to check out Pokemon Go prospects for Community Day. I have to say both Wilder Park and the library are A+ in my book!At the park I highly recommend not missing the Garden Kaleidoscope in the conservatory!

Beautiful spot for any weather! The small greenhouse is good for the soul during the long winter. The color, air quality, and warmth are really refreshing.The grounds are lovely, and made for playtime and picnics.

Elmhurst Memorial Day parade: fun. Ceremony at the monument site: meaningful. Nearby Flags of Honor dispay: powerful.

Outstanding long time local park located near schools, train station & post office. Beautiful, clean & modern. Really enjoy the summer festivals. Easter egg hut is always a big highlight for our community. Get out and enjoy the fresh air in a beautiful location.

Beautiful place for my nieces wedding reception. The food was so good !!

Maybe they can make the green house bigger so they can grow and sell more things. Maybe can grow their own berries to make their own jams.

Great playground for kids with tons to do and that safe, soft bouncy ground. Lots of space and in a great location. The Lizzadro museum is really nice, and theres a free conservatory to visit. Free parking.

Wilder Mansion was a beautiful venue for the holiday craft & art show.

We are from Michigan. Found this park on line two years ago, while visiting GRAND children in February, on an uncharacteristic 60° weekend. We were soo impressed with it, we wrote the info. about it down. The kids shrieked with excitement when we brought them back here. The play ground is AMAZING. The rubberized surface underneath, perfect! Ate in the shade on a picnic table. Used the bathrooms. Enjoyed watching ever so many various groups gather around us, but yet space around us too. Well be back!

Visited this wonderful little park today with my two girls (2 and 4 yrs old). They both loved it. We spent most of our time on the play equipment which was perfect for their age(s). A bigger climber for big kids and a smaller one for the little ones. Nice friendly people with plenty of other kids around. Will go back for sure.

Great large Park had everything you need for some time outside with your kids. Make sure to bring a bucket and shovel there is a large sand pit too!

Great Park and playground. Its the kids favorite. Large sandbox, bring your own sand toys. Lots of equipment for the above 5 and younger than 5 groups. Usually crowded. Lots of trees offer more shade than other nearby parks.

Very nice park with a full restroom available for use. Lots for the kids to do, and lots of places for adults to sit and still be able to watch the kids play.

Its a great park in the middle of elmhurst. Its close to the library so we usually make it part of our library stop. I think that the park serves peoples needs. I do think that the sandbox could be tended to more or filled. But I think that about all of the sandboxes in the parks weve been to in Elmhurst.

Great park in Elmhurst! Surrounding area includes: the conservatory, Wilder mansion, public library, two art museums, wonderful playground equipment, tennis courts and Elmhurst college campus. Just a short walk away from the train station and the local businesses of downtown Elmhurst.

Clean, spacious park for kids to play. Has a sand box, a big open field for kids to run or play ball, bathrooms, and water fountain. The only downside is the parking lot, is a bit small.

A lot of trees, long trail, tennis courts and of course a playground for the kids with bathroom not too far away from eberything the parking lot its not that big, but I belive theres parking on the street( dont quote me on that) ...great for playing Pokemon go alot of poke stops and quite a few gyms all around.
