The Wilder Park Conservatory, though small, has a beautiful collection of indoor and outdoor plants. The conservatory consists of one building with a winding circular path. As I visited during the Covid outbreak, guests were encouraged to enter through the main doors, and exit through the rear doors. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon my friend and I had the entire place to ourselves. After you exit there are beautifully landscaped grounds to walk through, and numerous benches to sit on to enjoy the scenery.
Attended a wedding here. Live in the area for years and never been here. Wonderful park and outdoor setting for a wedding. Peg the planner is amazing to work with.
This is the sickest greenhouse I ever been too..its so neglected mealy bugs have taken over the placePoor plants barely hanging on.If u have plants in your home ..please dont come here cause u can carry these bugs home too.Horrible experience and to think I drove 25 min to get here ..ps its its really small ..only one little room ..how hard could it be to take care of 20 plus plantsShame on them
Has a beautiful display of different Flora ranging from flowers to shrubs and small trees.
Quiet corner of Elmhurst. Very beautiful plants and flowers to view. Especially nice that the plants are a) taken care of, and b) appear to rotate regularly.
It is a nice venue for a wedding ceremony but as I am 70 years old and have difficulty walking, be aware there is a lot of walking from the parking lot to the actual tent where the wedding is performed. There are benches along the way if you need to take a rest though. Beautiful flowers that I have never seen before are seen throughout the area, most notably, some type of tall orange cone-like flower. I couldnt get a photo of. It was very windy on the day of our rehearsal and cool with on and off rain on the day of the ceremony. Sides on the tent could have been lowered but were not. Maybe thats extra. But on a warm and sunny day, you cant go wrong here. Seating for about 40 under the tent.
Nice plave to take photos natually... Semi heated... Lovely flowers and plants
Close to the Elmhurst Art Museum, and well worth a visit if you are in the area. A hidden gem!
Awesome arrangement of unique plants. Must see
We drove 20 min to get there and the place can be seen in 5 min lol super tiny place but it is still nice I enjoyed the kaleidoscope but would rather spend few more minutes and drive to the botanical garden or Garfield park
Beautiful Park and Museums
