Absolute treasure of a shop with absolute treasures of staff! I actually got to the store a little early. Cindi and her coworkers welcomed me in to look around and immediately offered a warm and friendly atmosphere. Cindi’s selection of Mid Century Modern furniture and decor is out of this world! What was even better is that I experienced no sticker shock! Everything was VERY reasonable given the great condition and style of the piece! They have items ranging from Burke all the way to Nelson style pieces.I’m so glad to have such a cool store in EC! And not only do they have great furniture, there’s also very cool vintage clothing sections! Would highly recommend The Welsh Bohemian if you’re into boho or 60’s-70’s style pieces! They even have a great selection of instruments and accessories on the second floor. Not to mention all the beautiful unique artwork littered all around for sale!My overall experience was definitely a five star experience. Everyone was SO kind, polite, and attentive. I felt no pressure to buy and was given the time to peruse the shop calmly. That’s exactly the kind of environment I would hope for going into a shop like this. Incomparable to any of the other vintage shops in EC! Just top notch!!!!!!!!Would HIGHLY recommend coming to this shop!!!!

The person we encountered when we walked in was eating (no mask of course) and when I enquired about medical exemption for masking was informed that people who could not wear a mask are not welcome to shop in this store. Why? I asked, and was told that people who cant wear masks are too sick and therefore their constitutional freedoms are not as important as someone, say, in a wheel chair or with some other type of disability. In fact, she went on to explain how people walking around breathing fresh air without masks would be putting everyone at risk... but it was all ok, I guess, for her to not wear her mask... because she was eating... This was a hostile shopping experience. BEWARE.

If you are serious about buying vintage or antique jewelry, do yourself a favor and skip this place and go to the Antique Depot or Attic Antiques and Things. Taylors Collective is HIGHLY overpriced for what they have compared to the other shops in the area. The other stores actually had signed, quality pieces that were WAY cheaper, especially if you are someone like me who buys multiple pieces at a time.

Best place in Old Ellicott City. I mean this place has it all, from antiques to modern gifts for any occasion. If you have the time have a chat with Mrs. Ryland shell help you find what you need. Best customer service EVER, very friendly and quick, always in good humor.

There used to be a wonderful antique store that was called Taylors Antiques which had a variety of different people selling things. It was closed down a couple years ago nothing will ever take its place. It was a very special unique store. This is just another cookie-cutter place.

There is no place like Taylors. It is my Breakfast at Tiffanys in real life. Whenever I am getting the mean reds I run, walk, twirl my way into her lovely doors. Hands touch fancy dress hats and lace filled moments. Who knows I might just buy some furniture and give the cat a name?

Very horrible customer service! The curly haired lady is very prejudiced and not helpful at all! Not a way to keep and attract customer.I was inquiring about a piece and in the middle of answering she walks away to help another customer. Very rude! The place has a beautiful selection of amazing vintage and artisan pieces, if it wasnt for her Id give it 5 stars and I normally dont leave reviews but I was very upset with how she behaved. In response: (update 12/27/18)Youre confused maam, because as soon as that young lady came out of the bathroom from trying on that outfit you completely ignored me and got up and left to go assist her. So no I did not walk away you did. And no I wont be shopping there or referring this place to anyone!!

Zero stars if I could. The employee was immediately flustered because I entered with my kids. They are 10 and 7. Not toddlers. She immediately started telling them not to touch anything. They didnt even have a chance to touch anything because we werent even 10 feet inside yet!She watched them like a hawk so we left. It was very uncomfortable and awkward. I will not be going back. Not even without the kids

Ten stars if I could! Perfect location nestled in this beautiful town. This spacious high-end but priced responsibly Vintage and Fine Arts Gallery has it ALL and its display is seamlessly, organized and appealing to the eyes.As soon as I walked in, I noticed those gorgeous real wood floors, the clean environment with a soft & subtle essence of lavender scent that added to the ambiance there. I was then warmly greeted by Cynthia the Curator who has a wealth of knowledge about everything and freely responded to all my inquiries including the history of the building. Besides the vast vintage mid-century furniture, lamps and hard to find clothes, hats & lots of vtg bling (all in impeccable condition) this gallery housed a diverse variety of professional high-end art made from local Artist, many awarded and nationally known. Upstairs has so much to offer and see! Met artist coming and going and was told that they often are even working on their latest projects right there in the shop and available to explain the process or the story behind their work, but when not available, Cynthia had alot of insight and satisfied my curiosities. There was so much to see, so many different styles and genres that it was hard to leave and I appreciated the curators effort on bringing in variety to meet everyones wishes.Im definitely coming back for a few pieces I just have to have if it doesnt get snagged up before then due to all the foot traffic and purchases I saw while there.Taylor Collectives is a true gem.
