It was pretty good but some people shopping dont monitor their kids especially if they are a little older. It kind of made it a little difficult to shop and it was just me. The father was more interested in getting paint brushes and wasnt monitoring his kids which were rude. Michaels follows all the guidelines by the CDC. I use to enjoy going to this Michaels since I own my art business but it looks like I will going to another Michaels location.

I recently started an art class and my instructor gave me a list of supplies to purchase. My classmates suggested Michaels. I checked online for the 40% off coupon and used it on a wood easel that was on sale for 50% off. Without my two discounts I would never have bought such a nice one. I was able to purchase some other items at 50% off also. Michaels had everything on my list so this will be my go to store for all my art supplies.

Great selection of seasonal materials. Stopped to pick up some ribbon to wrap our Christmas tree. Checkout line was pretty long but moved very quickly.

The sales associate was very nice. I can easily find what I need. There is plenty of parking. A lot of items to shop through.

My only advise would be to have your secret shoppers be a little more incognito. Lol. I could tell there was a guy following me around the entire store, if you worked in retail at any length you know how to spot a secret shopper. Other than that I love the store and I will continue to be a patron there.

I love this place but its dangerous for my crafting addiction . Staff is friendly and willing to help.

I managed to find almost everything I was looking for. It appeared they were low on stock in some sections and overflowing in others. Unfortunately, I walked down the paint aisle and didnt see the puddle of gray paint until it was too late. UGH! All the associates were so busy cleaning carts and trying to run the registers.

We like shopping here for a great variety of crafts. I always go with a coupon. If you dont, make sure you sign up for the emails! The lines are often long at checkout.

I love this store. The employees are always helpful and friendly not matter how busy they are. The selection of holiday and art supplies is great and you can always find something you are looking for. The store is clean and inviting even when they are restocking.

This store was great for a birthday party. The crafts were age appropriate nd the kids had to lot of fun. With a staff member there to guide the kids, the party ran itself!

Excellent customer service received by the cashier. I was unaware they offered 15% military discount until she mentioned it. I have gone to Michaels at different locations and was never asked if I was affiliated with the military or offered the military discount.

On the Internet, you can buy products a little cheaper .But here you can touch with your hands those products about which we do not have enough information to buy via the Internet .

Store is okay pretty unorganized though. The staff however has no personality. I get you’re hiring quickly for the holidays but get people who have some personality they were all zombies.

Helpful staff. The Long Gate Michaels is well maintained and organized. They have a good selection of arts & craft related merchandise.Note: There is ALWAYS a coupon to pay less for whatever you are buying. Even if youre not a coupon clipper, whip out your cell phone and go to their website. The coupons are listed there and they can just scan your phone. If you dont have your phone, just ask the cashier. More times than not they will produce some kind of coupon for you.Their custom framing prices are outrageous and their framers are not professional. There is actually quite a bit that goes into custom picture framing, and I would not not recommend using them if you want high quality framing done. (I worked there a lifetime ago, and they have the highest markup in the area on Larson-Juhl mouldings, museum glass, acid free mats, etc.) Custom framing can be very expensive, so if you are going to spend that kind of money, get it done right and go elsewhere.

The first cashier at the desk helped me so much on a good frame design for my painting but unfortunately she had to go.and the second teller wanst so helpful.

I returned many pendants that were not made well enough for my business clients so upon returning like 8 items ( I was organized tho. ) tiara never skipped a beat, or make me feel like a nuisance for my return. She remained sweet, calm and handled the transaction better than most ladies working your counter in the past. She has quality people skills and should be considered for advancement!!

Michaels has just about everything for arts and crafts. Bought an Xacto knife there several years ago and needed a new blade. Found it in less than two minutes and at a great price.

This Michaels is fairly well-stocked and definitely well-staffed. Had an issue finding the right frame but that was not any fault of the store. Helps to make sure you have your measurements with you!This location is in the Robinson Township Mall, close to the REI and Barnes and Noble. You can also see the Market District Supermarket from the intersection entering from Ridge Rd/Campbells Run Rd.

Theyve always had what Ive needed and with a coupon, the price is wonderful.

Michaels is one of my favorite places to shop for fabric and crafting materials and home decor. I like the store in Ellicott City than the one in Columbia mostly because it is larger. Both stores are always well maintained and the people that work there helpful and friendly. I have found lately that many prices at Joannes are better than Michaels.

They need to update their items, lots of new crafting materials out there and they have had the same exact stuff for the past 10 years. They dont even carry sheets of crepe paper or any of the new spray paint colors with all the paper flowers people are making and a hundred other things people need it for. Otherwise staff is kinda friendly, place is clean and neat. Just bored with their selection. Most of it you can get at the Walmart down the street for cheaper

The store is very bright and neat. I was frustrated because I had an online pick up and there isnt any obvious signage as to where to pick up at. I first stood in the checkout line for 5 minutes just told be told to look in the back for the sign, which is overtop a door that says for employees only. The actual pick up is at the custom framing counter. Of course that means you have to wait for the custom framing customers to decide on what framing they want. What is supposed to be a quick and convenient process took me almost 30 minutes. It would have been quicker for me to shop and stand in the regular line
