This neighborhood park is an older one with massive trees with abundant shade, tennis courts and walking trail, wooden jungle equipment for children, and neighborhood street parking. Discovered it as my beloved Club Pilates is closed during the Pandemic. Pilates in the Park is offered a couple early AM sessions a week and has been refreshing to attend outdoors in such a serene setting. Nice to see some of the regular club attendees also enjoying the fresh air and found a new trail in EG!

Fantastic! Large, plenty to play on, lots of seating and shade. My 4yo begs to go to the wood park over any other within walking distance. Its the only park Im fine with going out of my way to visit.

Very nice park with an interesting theme that the kids loved. The playgrounds are great since there are two of them, one for the little ones and one for older kids. In addition to swings that are the kids favorite. Also, there are a lot squirrels since there are many oak trees and there are restrooms.

Great neighborhood park to escape from the busy streets. Just off the trail which leads to other nice little spots. Highly recommended for picnics with family or play some sports. No basketball courts though..

Cute, well maintained park. I went to hit some serves at their two tennis courts. The courts are in really nice shape and I hope they stay that way. Looks like there are pickleball dimensions for those that play. The large trees to the west of the courts provide great shade.

Awesome huge park. My only problem is that the park is wide open and it makes it difficult to keep track of multiple kids considering the size if the playground. Its definitely a fun place to visit but I recommend a 1:1 kid to adult ratio.

The kids had such an awesome time at this unconventional park. The structures are all wooden, with additional components and little horses to ride and swings. There is lots of shade and tons of hilarious squirrels, everywhere! We met our friends here and the kids met tons of other kids. They all ran up and down the ramps together. It was a happy day.

Awesome park, great shade, playground & bathrooms . . . However each time weve taken the kids, theres always this man with a Peter Pan syndrome, playing at the park. Approximately mid-40s possibly Asian/White mix. Appears innocent enough. He runs throughout the entire playground jumping off of the slides/playground equipment, playing games of tag and hide-and-seek with preteens and teens. Kind of irritated when he nearly knocked down our toddler as he ran through the kiddie play area chasing a kid during a game of tag. The first couple of times I assumed he was a kid until I noticed the salt and pepper in his hair one day as he ran by nearly bumping into me and my wife. Curious if hes just a weird parent or a creepy old guy who befriends kids at the park?

One of my favorite parks in elk grove. reason for not giving full five star is because they dont have that many tables, only one bbq grill. The park is big and they have street parking. I like the playground structure. They have pathway to walk or jog around. The park is big, has trees with shades but not much.I wound highly recommend this parks all those stay home moms who love to take kids to parks. Its a mini disneyland. They will have fun.
