Great dog park. Lots of space for the pups to run around.
Big dog park, my babies loved it!
Very cool! Lots and lots of space, kiddie pools with hoses that work, water fountains for dog and people, lots of friendly faces. only thing I can think would make it better is baggies for the people, alot of the people parks around here keep stocked on bags so I figure if anywhere, they should have them at the dog park . Thats all! (:
Quiet and perfect amount of space for my pup to run
The dogs loved it! And my kids loved it too
My dog loved it. Plenty of room for dogs to run and play. She even made a friend. A cool mellow, playful dog named Bones.
Great open space for the dogs to run. There’s not small and large spaces but everyone was great with their dogs.
I personally have attended picnic event at this site, and it is awesome! You just have to attend this special event at this Park, with shady trees and sittings. Just come and take a peak, and decide for yourself! Graduating students are honored for their great achievement, because, some kids did not graduate. With this graduation, a gifted kid and those with foresight, already know the niche that has to be pursued. If they succeed, will have teachers come to their homes and teach them what they have to know, rather than attending 4 years of college, without digital footprints. To become white-collar slave, and the spiral continues, until one unlearn, re-learn, and learn again, can one be Emancipated!
Nice1 big dog park no small or big dog side
I went to the dog park, there was lots of space, extra toys lying about, plenty of places for the dogs to drink water, and lots of shade. My only problem was that some people did not enforce the rule of keeping a leash on the dog outside of the gates for the dog park.
Great dog park, but can be pretty busy. My son loves the 2 different playgrounds. The park is big, quiet and clean. A lot of trails for walking and running. Looks like its pretty well taken care of.
Nice dog park. Very big. Friendly dog owners.
Sign says watch out for for foxtails. Otherwise could use a little more shade. On the whole a nice dog park. No separate area for small dogs.
Park is nice but the mens bathrooms had a few used syringes on the floor! (One of the soccer dads told us)! Womens bathroom needed some cleaning as well, no TP!
Love walking at this park its very Serene.
Not much shaded seating but the people who attend take care of the park. Not everyone picks up their poop.
Used to like this place to take the dogs too and I actually have helped too brought toys and picked tree limbs to help Sacramento county, they was out trimming the trees and picking up the debris and I was helping the team. They didnt have the support from the community ️ to keep the park updated and lacked so much for the poop was always an issue and the two ugly people that decided to fling there poop at me. That was the most unwanted community and I thought just get over it. Whatever I did meet a few nice folks and yes Sacramento county you are right about the park it needs people like Daren, the tree guy and the people that did chill out with me and my furry friends.like Jada, Gabby Greg, Alicison, Cody, Creig, and Sarah.
My experience at this park was an experience Ill never forget, and its not in a good way. A woman there was very rude to my puppy, excluding him from a group of dogs and yelling at him because he wants to play. Other dogs barked and growled at him, showing dominance, which scared my puppy. The only time he really had fun was when a teeny little Yorkie played with him. Other dogs also didnt know how to respect another persons space, sniffing at some very private areas. There was a lot of rude people there in my experience, who didnt care for my puppy. They even slapped his nose away! I can tell you, it wasnt a playful or light slap on the nose. I dont know if this dog park was meant for the bigger dogs and not usually puppies or anything like that, but people really need to get a good check on their dogs and their attitudes. I dont think Im ever coming back here again.
I have a 10mth old pit that can get pretty hyper. Everytime I visit, people are really nice and dont mind his energetic personality. I feel welcomed.
Dogs love it some ppl think there dogs are being funny but they are really annoying other dogs
Please be aware this park is full of foxtails. Foxtails are extremely harmful to pets. Just spent over $400 having a foxtail removed from my dogs paw and long recovery time. The park department should be ashamed, they dont use sub standard equipment on playgrounds way dont they maintain their dog parks better.
Very spacious park. Lots of shade.
1st time here today, I enjoyed it and so did my furbaby. Went around 7:15p and there were a good dozen and a half dogs for my dog to play with. Park did not seem to have available dog bags so bring your own. Less than 10 minutes from my apartment so I will definitely make this a daily routine.
Went to the dog park. Was nice. Owners actually supervise their dogs.
Great dog park, nice dogs and people
Great size dog park. Community in the area help with maintaining the park.
Classic Jacinto Park has been a favorite of me and my family for a bit now.
For some reason my dog loves this park so every once in awhile ill drive down from sac bc of course imma do that for fergus!
Everyone at the dog park was super supportive and patient with my German shepherd puppy who is a little too excited when she goes there. Very open space, comfortably fits a bunch of dogs.
Nice quiet park. Great for kids or to bring your dog. Nice neighborhood. Bbq and covered Benches available. Lots of grassy area. Two different play structures and bathrooms.
Its more like a private park
It was a really nice lovely park with friendly people.
Lovely park - huge, well maintained, and that dog park is AMAZING!! Plenty of things to do here for the whole family.
Friendly people and great dogs
I was working repairing a interior door ance the park send to be a nice clean place to walk your dog
Friendly safe park and has shade and seating.
My Siberians used to love it here but some owners make it difficult for all to have a good time. Definitely not a fan and will be looking elsewhere. Not acceptable to yell at my dog nor spread rumors that one of mine attacked yours when all she did was talk as all huskies do. There was NO contact or aggressiveness.
Nice, lots of dogs, just need to bring poop bags
Cool little local dog park is what I go for
The best dog park in Sacramento that I seen. Great dogs and smart owners. Never had a problem here. Its a big park with a tunnel. Its very clean and and dogs are friendly. My only negative about this park is that there is few trees for shade, but a small sacrifice for a good time for my dog.
Nice dog park with a hill and a tunnel for dogs to run through. Friendly people. On the down side...poop everywhere and bags are not provided. Yuck!
Good dogsGood folks
Cool dog park chill people come by and bring their dogs.
I love this place
Perfect. Not crowded because no one knows its there. Very well maintained
Lots of room. Has tumbles, water, and usually toys in the park.
Very pretty park offering loads of fun!
Great place to let the dog run freely. Only issue is due to watering, morning times it can get a little muddy, usually ok after 11.
I enjoyed this park and will be back
Middle of the day and we had the pleasure of only 3 other pups being there. My girlsnhad a blast! Park was clean but they dont have poop bags, so bring your own.
Brought my ex and here daughter here once. The park was nice, but the location to some might make them feel uncomfortable.
The park was great most of the people were as well, but never fails at dog parks there is always that terrible owner that lets het dog misbehave! I dont appreciate some male dog trying to hump my female dog when we are trying to play!
A well-maintained half basketball court, a modern playground, and covered picnic area, make this a good park for family outings.
Loved the open grassy space for my pups!
Its a large park where large dogs can open it up an run... But there are far too many new dog owners who dont know their dogs AT ALL, or think humping, nipping, posturing or stealing balls from dogs there with a ChuckIt!stick are all appropriate behaviors. IF they are watching their dogs at all. Many are too immature to read social signs from other dogs and large pack fights break out. The Regulars, as in owners, sit at the table or in their lawn chairs thinking their dogs are either angels or high enough in social stature that they can police the park.Far too often youll find the first time at any park around any strange dogs pups who just arent socialized enough for this park. Far too many whole males causing social and pack issues. A lot of rescued pit bulls or out mixes which arent socialized, play too rough, instigate fights. Most dog owners come to socialize and dont watch their dogs. Too much poop, always wear your dog park shoes and never walk in the perimeter grass. The pools are DISGUSTING with few owners taking their turns at dumping, cleaning, and filling them.Avoid the park between 8am and 12 noon & 4pm to dusk depending on the season. Always scope out the park before letting your dog in. The animal behaviorist rule if you cant control your dog in the corral, with your dog lunging and barking, then your dog doesn t belong in a dog park.Several owners bring their working dogs and brag about their attack skills but give no attention to the lack of social skills. We are multiple dog household who have been going to this park for years and wont go near it any more. If we do, its at dusk to after nightfall and even then you need to be careful as owners are beginning to think that its safer than the daytime. And read the rules, leave the children at home.Youll find that there is at least one person there who understands dog park norms & rules (spoken and unspoken) and if you ignore any of the above, you WILL be asked to leave until your dog is fixed, socialized or professionally trained to at least advanced puppy level, and has all of its shots. The city is lacking in its care for the park with grass and weeds often over 6-8 tall.In all, its a great place to let your dog run if you checkout the environment before coming in, have a controllable socialized dog, watch your dog, and pick up your poop. If you cant find your dogs warm poop, then be respectful and pick up 2+ cold poops. If your dog is whole, especially males, it will cause a fight, guaranteed. And have your dog on verbal command, at the least. And bring a tazer. Not only to make loud noises to break up fights but to fend off know it all regulars who I guarantee have a tazer.Summary: Find a quiet corner, go at offpeak times, avoid crowded times, and be prepared to grab your dog and leave. It used to have a great reputation before having a dog became the in thing to do and self-training was the way to go. Too many owners think a dog who can do a sit-stay at home is socialized. Too many dogs have ended up at the Bradshaw ER because they introduced themselves improperly, mounted the wrong dog, are reactive, or just dont belong there. And that goes for owners too. Too many egos, my dog is perfect and didnt start the fight, and quick to get in your face.Find an offpeak time or go to Morse Ave or Elk Grove park. Its not all bad but isnt worth the risk.
Better to go here during cooler hours. Gets pretty hot sometimes
Dogs had a good day.
This park should definitely have a separate area for big and small dogs
Ok. Just went for business
First time here. We met some really nice folks and their pups.
A little dirty. Not bad overall.
Great place to take your dog. Just counting the days when the city of Elk Grove will fix the broken fence.
Its quiet and there arent many things to do
Great dog part great dog owners and dogs
Do Not Go To This Dog Park. Theres Always This One Old Pretentious Jackass Whos A Self Proclaimed Dog Expert Wholl Judge Your Dog, Your Dogs Behavior, And You The Owner. He Acts Like He Owns The Park And Is So Unbelievably Rude Acting As If You Lie About Your Own Dogs Age. He Judged Our Dogs Size And Accused Us Of Lying About Her Age And Her Shots Which Cost Us A Fortune. Avoid This Park And The Prick In It At All Costs
Thanks again LOVED IT
Lots of parking and a nice dog park. Although its pretty muddy in the winter.
Great park everything in one spot.
Great for dogs
Nice and quiet in the morning. Playing ball with Gretchen.
