So. Much. Fun! We had a group of 10 for some birthday fun and we chose Conspiracy Theory. We did our best of getting out of the escape room and used only 2 hints. We were SO CLOSE! Its an experience that is memorable and I highly recommend it. Our host, Michael, was hilarious and SUPER nice and helpful. Thank you, Exit Strategy!

Very fun. We did the family room. Crazy Cat lady!! Kids 8 and 10, loved it. Not too hard. Great family activity. Made it out with lots of time to spare. Great place, we will be back! Perfect covid friendly option, rent the room for your group.

A fun 1 hour well spent. A little pricey for me but it was a really good experience. Got stuck couple of times and had to take hints. Would love to try other scenarios another time

I will say that my friends and I have done a many escape room, but we had a pleasant surprise with this one. The room was inventive, original, challenging and most of all competative. I would definitely suggest this escape room too all enthusiasts and those who are not, we had a good time. Our hosts were also energetic and articulate. Super fun!! My family and I were a party of 10, which included ages 8-45, and we participated in “Pet Snatched.” It was really fun for all of to try to solve the puzzles involved! Kid-friendly! We got the opportunity to have a private room during Covid-19. They were very sanitary and had us wear masks in the common areas. Overall fun and we escaped!!

This was my first escape room, my girlfriend has done them before and we both really enjoyed this one

On our journey to doing 50 rooms, my fiance and I drove over 2 hours to do Naughty vs Nice which is a Christmas version of Conspiracy. While not featuring lots of tech, our team had lots of fun with the silly puzzles and setting. Not a lot of tech but a lot of heart.

We had a blast!!! This was super fun. Staff was very nice and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

My 12 year old wanted to do an escape room with her friends for her birthday, so we booked Pet Snatched for her and a few friends. I didnt go into the room with them because that wouldnt be cool, but I did wait for them in the lounge area. I could hear them laughing and talking excitedly during their time in the room. They had so much fun, and Im happy to report they escaped with almost 4 minutes to spare. I would definitely book with them again, and I hope to get a chance to do one myself soon.

We had a total blast at Exit Strategy Games! It was my second escape room experience. We booked Pet Snatched for four people, and it was just the right amount of challenging and has certainly made me excited to come back and try the other rooms.Our game master was Gigi, and we are officially her biggest fans. She joked around with us and made sure we were having fun and laughing throughout the whole game. I’m pretty sure she barked over the intercom at us at one point to simulate the snatched pets.I definitely recommend the Pet Snatched room, especially for smaller groups! I’m looking forward to trying out the Spy vs. Spy room and the Wizarding School room.If you want to have a good time, go to Exit Strategy Games. And ask for Gigi!

I have heard about this place and have always thought it would be fun to do. Finally got a chance to do the pet snatched room with my kids and their grandma. The room was great for my 9 year olds! Challenging enough for all of us. We all had so much fun and it really allowed the personalities show in my boys. We want to go back for a different room, just without the youngest (4). Highly recommend! The staff was super friendly as well. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

This was a great escape room experience. The puzzles were challenging, but not too stressful for a casual experience. Our game master, Gigi, was fun, friendly, and helpful. I cant wait to go back!

Had so much fun!! The staff was so amazing, & so helpful. When we needed hints they were able to give us helpful hints when we needed them without giving us the actual answer. Definitely coming back next weekend to play another room. All of us as a group HIGHLY recommend this place for both experienced players & beginners. I hope next weekend we have the same staff working because they really made this experience 20x more fun.

My family had a great time! Pet Snatched was the perfect room for my younger siblings and we all loved the experience of having a private room. Our Game Master was great, very helpful and funny, and the room was challenging enough for everyone. I cant wait to come back for the wizarding school room!

For a first timer, this was incredibly fun! We can for a friends birthday, and the host was extremely friendly, and talked with us all very naturally. We had a party of 12, in the Torture Chamber Room, which was very entertaining! Loved this experience, Exit Strategy Games has truly gotten me addicted to escape rooms!

Our group of 10 had a great time at this place! The torture room is a great game to play in a large group. Our game master, Michael, was fun to talk to and we loved his energy! Overall the clues and the way the game was design was fun and challenging. Would totally recommend this place to anyone who likes escape rooms and we will be back!

This place is great. Room was well complicated but not overly so. Great with even 8 people and plenty of clues for everyone to get involved. Game master was great(pay raise???)! Looking to come back for another room!

We escaped from the Conspiracy Theory room. It was very clever and well put together and we had a lot of fun figuring it out. The staff was fun and helped make it a great evening. I would highly recommend it as long as you have puzzle minded people in your group.

Exit Strategy was quite good compared to most of the other escape rooms my family has tried. Their games each have a fun, unique theme, encouraging team play and cooperation. The staff was extremely friendly and enthusiastic, and their facility was clean and organized. They even offered us a discount to try playing a second game after our first one was over. They offer unlimited hints with no time penalty, and clearly marked emergency exits, ideal for inexperienced escapists. Highly recommended for all skill levels, will visit again!

Fun place! It looks small from the outside because of where its located, but its still pretty roomy and big on the inside. Staff is very friendly and welcoming and seem to really enjoy working there and making sure that people have a good time. We did the torture chamber one and the intro video was pretty funny. The decorations were pretty cool and I thought it was a cool angle to have us initially separated. Made us work a little harder! Definitely will want to check out the other rooms they have!

Awesome family day out for a birthday. The staff is extremely helpful, polite, and funny! Torture Chamber is difficult, so make sure you’re ready to put on your thinking caps and communicate with each other...think outside the box!

SUPER cool. The staff is enthusiastic and great. The game was easy, maybe we were too smart, but the puzzles were unique and not what you expected. We beat it with 10 min to spare. Id definitely say it was challenging you wont be bored. We did the torture chamber. It was fun! Staff is great. I will come back. Perfect for parties and birthdays or you know, if you want to do something outside the box.

I am posting this solely so my game master Michael will get a bonus! HA! I really enjoyed this escape room. I love love love that it was a private party, so no strangers. My group of 4 did the torture Chamer.I enjoyed every second from the corny riddles in the beginning, to the game itself. I appreciate the fact it was unlimited clues. Previous rooms I have been to you where penalized for extra clues. I want to say we only got 5 but I could be wrong haha. The clues where helpful without giving to much information.Overall, I have plans on coming back when spy vs spy opens! Maybe do the dog napped one!

Gigi is the best game master! She entertained us with riddles before we went in. It was a fun time in the room. Very family friendly, great for beginners.

My friends and I did the tourture chamber. It was our first time doing something like this and Im glad we went with a more intermediate skill level. It puzzles were fun and it forced us to work as a team. Mike our game master was funny and very helpful. I would recommend anyone whos puzzle minded to come out and try their rooms because we had a blast.

My Wife and I had a wonderful time. It was her first escape room, and the staff were SUPER helpful and fun. She rocked it and we had a blast, creative and intuitive puzzles and good room design look. Super excited to try the new Harry Potter one that is on the way. I think it was...Matthew?...that helped up and he was so pumped it made everything that much better!!!!

We just left and did the Pet Snatch Room. Had a group of 8 and had an absolute blast. I recommend this place. We can’t Wait to try the other room!!!

My group of friends and I did torture chamber, and it was a really great experience!! Our Game Master, Mikey, was genuinely such a neat dude, he made the experience better for us. The room itself had really well-done props, and puzzles that were challenging, but not too abstract to prevent us from having a good time. And having a coolio game master especially makes the experience a 5-star experience (Totally was not paid to say that). Although at one point, he did tell us that he would eat us if we didn’t escape the room in time, and I’m not sure if that was a threat or a promise, but we’re still eagerly waiting.

First time doing an escape room... we ended up doing two in a row, we were having so much fun! The employees were FANTASTIC! I dont remember the guys name who was our game master, but he was so great! Im hooked and cant wait to go back!

Did a couple of escape rooms with friends a few weeks ago, the game masters made the experience super enjoyable! Great themes and decorations.

My trip took place on 7/20/2019, my birthday. The staff was all excellent, very into their jobs and their roles as our guides through the game, and very welcoming and polite to our party. We did the Torture Room of the Ark River Killer and it awesome! Good intermediate puzzles which challenged even our most veteran party members. I highly recommend Exit Strategy for your next outing.

We played two rooms back to back and had a blast. Our game master was great. The puzzles in the rooms were linear and made us feel like winners. We definitely recommend coming here and really enjoying your escape room experience, and they are PRIVATE. Best escape room place in Sacramento area, and we’ve tried them all.

Went to their Naughty and Nice escape room, one of the employees volunteered to work on Thanksgiving which was great. The room was challenging but a blast! I recommend it

We escaped with less than 2 minutes on the timer!!! It was so much fun, nerve wracking, and we had some youngsters with us. All in all awesome experience, my bestie Jazz bday treat with family. The staff was great, friendly, and helpful with the clues when we needed it. I recommend the torture chamber room if its still available.

What a great experience! Took my daughter and few of her friends to celebrate her birthday. This was a first time for all of them. As we walked in we were greeted by friendly smiles and a cheerful welcome by both gentlemen. I believe it was Michael that checked in and was patient as he waited on the girls. Michael had a great sense of humor and had us all laughing from the door. The rules were explained and they were sent off. At the end photos were taken and the girls said they had an amazing time and would love to come back and are planning on doing so with more friends and try other Strategy rooms. Definitely will be returning!! Thank so much for making my daughters special day a great one!

I took my 3 grandkids to Exit Strategy. We had 3 adults and 3 children. It was tricky getting started but after a couple clues we got going and had a blast. I loved that we were given clues but not answers. The kids felt like they had figured it out by themselves.

Lots of fun for all ages (we had ages 8-17). Puzzles were challenging, but not too frustrating for the kids. Everyone already wants to go again!

Our host was great and suggested for us to choose another room than the one we booked considering it was the first time for more than half our group. I highly recommend this place as they have great customer service and its open until 11:45 PM!!! We thought about doing this last minute and even though we showed right up on time, they still did their job. Highly recommend this place.

This was my first escape room and I went with a pretty big group to the Torture Chamber. Right when we walked in it was a pleasant experience from being welcomed and getting started right away. Instructions were given and the man helping us was very funny when getting us started. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be but the unlimited hints were helpful. There was also a nice little bonus of getting our picture taken with funny signs and our team name. Would definitely come back again to do another one!

I had a great time over there. It was a lot of fun, the course was fun and a good challenge. My family and I managed to get out and we had a blast while inside the trap room. I definitely recommend it if youre going with, friends, family, and co workers.

We took 4 kids tonight for our daughter’s birthday. They enjoyed it a lot. We did the pet napping room. Shawn was awesome and so patient with the girls. Even when they were screaming out of excitement asking him a million questions.

We had a 2 Room Family party today and it was a BLAST! One of our groups were in the Torture Room and the other was in Pet Snatcher and we ALL had a Awesome time.. The Team that was there explaining each room was Great and made our Family time together very memorable and enjoyable... We’ll be back for another Family outing hopefully soon..

My husband booked a room for my birthday, it was a surprise but I didnt know he booked us the hardest one (conspiracy theory). The guys working were AWESOME and hilarious!! We got some extra time but we solved the room with a couple of hints. Will definitely be booking another room and bringing more friends!!

My wife and I did the Torture Chamber escape room and had a blast. We didnt know we would be separated for part of it, but that made it even more fun and challenging as we had to communicate effectively to help solve puzzles and escape. Overall, the staff are very friendly and offer hints if you want them. The room we did can be done with a group of 2-12 but if you havent dont an escape room before, the more people involved the more effective the information gathering and communicating needs to be. Id say 6 would be the most Id want to do the Torture Chamber with, but everyone has their preference and it would be fun regardless. Sean was helpful when we needed a hint or two and had some pretty funny but cheesy jokes after we completed the puzzle. While they werent grate, they were definitely gouda, I just wouldve preferred some butter ones. Overall, exit strategy games is a great place to go for a fun experience, we will likely be back to try the other games.

We have completed all of their current rooms. We had such a good time with The Torture Chamber, we recently returned for Conspiracy Theory, and the night was young, so we did Pet Snatched too to round out our evening. All 3 rooms are fantastic, loads of fun. Both visits we were greeted by the amazing GMG - Game Master Gabe. He is pretty awesome, and a great story teller. Really brings you into the moment and makes you feel like youre part of the story line. We are anxiously awaiting the new room. I know it will be fantastic as well. Thank you Exit Strategy team, youre great. Keep up the good work, and well be coming back for more.

Went to this place with family and did one room and escaped. Our game master then asked if we wanted to do another, because if you do one your next one after that is 30% off. I recommend this place to anyone that wants a challenging escape room, but that is still very family friendly. Also this place is private rooms only, so you don’t have to worry about sharing an escape experience with strangers.

We went to Exit Strategy today with a mixed group - two first-timers, one second-timer, and three experts. We did the Pet Snatched room and loved it! The puzzles were fun and just challenging enough, and the hosts were great. I really like the always a private room model. Well definitely have to go back and try the other two rooms.

This is the second time Ive done a room here, and I can happily say that their rooms are amazing! Thoughtfully designed, challenging, but not too difficult, clean, and immersive. They even have a family friendly one that you can do with the kids, which is a really cool idea.The employees and owners are friendly and inviting, clear on the rules, but kind in their enforcement. They know just when to offer a hint, and they have quite a corny sense of humor, which is always appreciated. I highly recommend this escape room company!!

I went in march 2019. When we arrived the building looked legitimately abandoned because the weeds were so high. It felt very sketchy. The front lobby had a bunch of missing ceiling tiles, and others that was broken or missing. The staff consisted of one guy.We did the torture chamber room. We had a false start where we could not make progress because one of the essential pieces were missing. When we asked for a hint, they gave us the piece and added time to our clock. But the room was really fun. The trashed ceiling tiles actually make the room feel more real.Summary. Building is very run down. Good puzzles and props. But they could renovate to look more professional.

Had a blast for my first escape room. Super nice and kinda funny employees. They give you all the information youll need before you start. The puzzle wasnt impossible and when we asked for help; We got it within a second. This place is great.

This place was awesome! I loved the set up and the room that we selected. The guy at the front counter was very nice and had plenty of corny jokes. He did a great job explaining the rules and what we should expect. He also was good at giving out clues, he gave up just the right amount of Information. I will be going back to check out the other room there.

My experience with my group was lovely. The room was full on creepier than I expected which was awesome. The man working there was super cool and made our experience that much better. I wish I remembered his name but we were there on Saturday, July 20th at 10:35pm. He deserves a raise!!

We were looking for a escape room for my daughters 13th birthday so we could do it as a family. This was our first escape room we have done, so we were looking for something that wasnt scary since we were also bringing our 10 year old daughter (who was apprehensive about going) We were also having issues trying to book a room at other places that would let us do it just with our group. This being the weekend (sunday), they were all telling us that we would be grouped together with other people. Then I found Exit Strategy, it filled all the requirements, every booked room is a private event, and they had a room that wasnt going to be scary Our host was very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We ended up doing the conspiracy theory room, which was perfect because it fit the theme of the birthday party we were having. It was challenging and although we were unable to finish it, we still had a blast!!! We did have to ask for help for a couple of the challenges, and our host came in and gave us some really good clues, without actually giving us the answer. We have already recommended this place to a couple of families, and will be coming back ourselves also.

Went with a bunch of my co workers and had a blast doing their rooms! Conspiracy Theory was a great interactive experience that also included a bit of secrecy that gave it a good touch of fun! Torture Chamber was super immersive and required us to speak with our team members, and it gave us a good cooperative experience! Props to Michael for such a good time!

Such a fun place, weve gone to each of their rooms and just completed their new room. No spoilers, but the puzzles were varied and interesting, we did have to use some hints. The gamemaster Michael made our whole group laugh and rounded out a great experience!

The staff that welcomed us has such a enthusiastic personality, he looked like he enjoys his work. We did the conspiracy theory and it was quite hard but we beat it with 7min remaining, it was quite challenging and fun.
