Great park with activities for kids of all ages with shade and plenty of sitting space. And a perfect little entrance to the riverfront trail with paved and unpaved areas. Beautiful afternoon family activity!
Bring the mosquito spray! They can be irritating during the summertime. The park interior is big but not very green. Playground area is nice. Theres easy access to the Rio Grande. Its a good place to walk or bike. Views are decent. Its peaceful when theres actually water in the river.
Unique and fun playgrounds. Great picnic tables. Only downside is the parking lot is a ways away from the park.
This place is pretty good, nice bike trail and the river was huge today. Wouldnt go swimming in it but still nice to see. Playground was fairly new and had lots of fun things for the kids to do. Next time well be bringing our bikes and ride the trail.
Great place to walk!
In new home development area. Open fields next to the river with horse, bike riding, and walking trail easy access. Routinely occupied by seasonal youth sport practices and games. Child play area with swings, slides, obstacles and filled with wood chips. Few park benches near child playground. Two covered picnic tables also near the playground.
Its a decent park with slides, swings, and over head bars and ropes. Lots of open space to run a dog and a couple of porta potties. No water though.
The playground was nice and big. I liked the unique playground setup. I was hoping to see the river, but it was dried up. But my son still had fun playing in the sand.
It is still a growing area so there is the basics, trail to run, lost of open space, a kids playground with shade. The downsides are not a lot of trees nor grass. Like I said the area its still under construction so Im pretty sure it will improve in the coming years
The only spot that I could gong on Google maps that had access to ty he Reo Grande River. The river bed was there but no water!! Looks like its going to be a nice park, n.m ut ut is brand new.
Nice little park for parents to relax and kids to have a good time
Nice park. My son and his Boy Scout troop went for a bike ride along the river and start and this location to Vinton and back. Its was a nice starting point.
Love this park!!! Plenty of space for the dogs to run and avoid other people! Beautiful views!
My family and I love this park. With tons of playground to explore we never run out of stuff to do. And if we feel like we want to see more, there is access to 6 miles of paved trails next to the Rio Grande.
Beautifull park, good for kids and pets .Grest to play sportd or just take a walk
Clean and nice friendly people
Very nice, well maintained park. Walking trails and beautiful scenery
Nice park but theres a whole lot of mosquitoes
Great place to ride your bike, run or walk the dog.
Great playground. This is the cleanest and most well kept park I have been in El Paso. Park is located in a great area. Massive playground for kids and a playgym for older kids.Park also has 2 large green fields. The downside here are the mosquitoes. The mosquitoes will harass you and cover you once you cross over into that green field. You will not be bothered by the mosquitoes if you stay around the jungle gym area. This park connects to another park which runs the length of the Rio. There is a cemented trail that runs side by side the river. This is a great place to go running, cycle, or walk your dog. Again bring the mosquito spray! During the winter months mosquitos are not a problem.I would also like to add that there is currently not a parking lot to access the playground. When it rains the dirt around the park becomes very muddy and holds standing water.* If you found my review helpful, please click the thumbs up icon. Thank you!
