The husband and I went here a few times because I had to for a music appreciation class, but I was so impressed with how beautiful it was!! We saw a symphony orchestra. It was my first time, but we had such a wonderful time. We sat in the back left, but even from there you can see everything just fine. Tickets weren’t expensive either. If you’re looking for something different to do, definitely check out the events going on here! You won’t regret it!

Recently saw Earth Wind and Fire. Amazing show. Glad I was seated on the isle as not much legroom for someone taller. A 2000 seat intimate theater with great sound. Nice part was the souvenir drink cup you got to keep when you ordered a drink !

We attended the Classical Film Festival for the very first time and it was an amazing experience. We had a lot of fun. We recommend to buy the tickets in advance and arrive about 30mins before the movie starts to get a really good seat and have a chance to go to the restroom. If you arrive ten mins before the movie starts, the restroom lines are long and seating is very limited. You will mostly find single seats.

Great expedience at the Historical Plaza Theatre!! Its got to be the most beautiful venue in El Paso! My wife invited me to go to the Little Joe, Ruben Ramos, and Roberto Pulido concert. We got FOUR HOURS of great Tejano, Mexican, and Oldies music. Well worth the price of admission. Hope to go back soon!

We watched The Lion King Musical and it was amazing at this theater. This was a very unique looking theater.

The Plaza where The El Paso Plaza Film Festival is held is a beautifully restored theater. It has ornate fixtures, celings and an organ that is functional. It is not only used as a movie theater, it is also used for plays, music venues and events.

Nice historic theater. The locals definitely dress down even to special events like a ballet. To each his own. Sound system and acoustic treatment is adequate, certainly not up to modem capabilities. The beverage vendors had reasonable pricing.

The atmosphere of the place is great the minute you walk in to the venue. The customer service is on point. The picture was taken from the middle in Row O, right under the second level (in case you wonder).The picture does not show the real-eye version since the cellphone camera makes it look wider, therefore it looks like its far but it really isnt.Decorations in the theater are perfect and nostalgic creating a unique environment.

Such a wonderful historical place to watch the impressive Russian Ballet performance of the Nutcracker. We love seeing this show every year. This time we got to take a few pictures with the ballerina and get another nutcracker to add to our collection.

Couldn’t even sit down before the show the beer selection is terrible for the price. Could be a great venue if it was run and operated correctly and the city didn’t have a hand in it.

. The fab four really know how to put on a good show. We loved it!. The theater is nice and clean. The staff is very helpful and polite. The only thing my wife complained about was the temperature. The theater was a bit cold for her.

This is one of the most beautiful historic theaters I have ever been to. Enjoyed the evening watching the Gypsy Kings. Good acoustic for a concert. Would love to go back and see another concert.

The Plaza Theater is one of my favorite parts of downtown. The decor transports you to the golden era of film and theater. I absolutely love the red velvet seats and huge movie screen. The ladies powder rooms are not to be missed. Especially the one on the second floor.

First class service from ticket purchasing to entry to seats. Super clean venue with loads of history. Drinks specials and take away cups are a nice touch. Only negative is they dont have many womens bathrooms.

Must see. El Paso did a great job restoring this historic theater. Thank you for making that decision some years ago...

Looks very nice from the outside, but once you go inside, its beautiful! Then you get into the auditorium and its also beautiful and spacious. I love coming here, its one of the nicest places to visit on the plaza. Staff has been great everytime weve gone.

First time at the plaza theater. Staff is very helpful and on top of things. No slacking. The place looks very nice and really clean. Comfortable seats. 2 hours of Jeff Dunham show and was never uncomfortable. Will return!

Plaza Theatre is absolutely beautiful, weve gone a couple of events that range from comedians, pop music and classical music and the acoustics are great. You can see the stage technically from any seat you choose. The theatres atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and elegant as well. Make sure you get to your event ahead of time (lol) so you can get good parking.

Beautifully restored theater runs an annual festival of old movies ranging from Hitchcock to Steel Magnolias, from The Right Stuff to The Wizard Of Oz, all summer long. Also sometimes included are free talks about the movie before the show. Lots of Q & A and trivia. Talk before King Kong (1933 edition) was given by Faye Wrays daughter. Prices as low as $4, as high as $12, but usually $6 to 8.

Beautiful place went to see Felipe Esparza . Seats are tight but we had a blast. Lines to the bar were reasonable. They had several people to get the crowd served.

The Plaza Theatre is a great auditorium to see entertainment. I went there tonight to see a movie as part of the Film Festival. We were in for a surprise as they interviewed Katherine Ross & Sam Elliot before the movie started. It was fantastic to see them!

Glad that they were able to save and restore this theater, good productions there through the year.

Nice venue. Cozy atmosphere in the bar that serves drinks in sippy cups. No spilling on other attendees. Seeding was well-designed but I prefer the upper tiers where are the seats were not on the same level as a ones in front. Very enjoyable.

This place is great for comedy shows, you cant go wrong buying seats in any section. You always feel close to the stage

The building inside is beautiful, liked the drink options and souvenir cups. The seats were comfortable and all staff was friendly. The one issue I had was that the sound system cut out a few times during the show. Otherwise my first experience was enjoyable.

I went to get tickets for a concert, and the costumer service is great, I also went to go go see my niece in a ballet play, and it was fantastic.

I saw the Caifanes concert there and it was my first time visiting the theater. I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice lobby area. There are no bad seats. Even at the top tier, you can still see the stage pretty well. Will definitely go back to see a show there.

Great place to see a show or watch a movie. I love the restoration work that went into this historic building. Too many downtown gems are lost and it is great to see one not only preserved but restored to its former glory. Highly recommend seeing a concert here, and checking out a movie during the Plaza Classic Film Festival.

I love this Theatre, the employees are always nice and the shows are great, just its extremely cold, you will need a sweater to enjoy the show.

Beautiful theater, but acoustics are not great and seats are VERY close together. Hard to get in and out of seats/rows. Restrooms are small with big crowds. But, they serve drinks and alcohol during events which is nice!

Venue seats are extremely small - comfortably seating a CHILD! The leg room in seating is nonexistent, so if rude customers leave and come back during a performance, the entire row has to stand up to let them pass. Convenient parking in the Mills building will set you back $10. Acoustics arent that good.

I just love The Plaza Theater! I have never had a bad experience there. I even enjoy their restrooms where you will find a few beautiful of historic items. It is simply beautiful and charming.

Beautiful old theater.Needs to be more service dog and disability friendly. Have went to several events. Had issues with my service dog each time. Event getting a seat for my service dog and still issues! I would love to go to more events but its not really accessible for those with service dogs.

The theater was fine. The performance started late. The lack of coordination between the plaza staff and the actors staff was very bad. We paid extra to meet and greet the actors and only 2 were available. Most people were upset...cleopatra metio la pata...what a rip off
