This venue is a beautifully engineered location which offers a deep sophisticated feeling with its wood paneled walls and warm soft lighting. The outside area is as beautiful as its interior atrium, convention halls and theatre, and it is a great place to have local pop culture experiences with acquaintances in the heart of the city.
Brought my kid for the symphony. Cause around here people think symphony means marachis. No room for a seat, understand and I prefer let other parents go. It is a very nice place. Just that between the medic, police, security, some other asshole they at least decided to let me stay and wait. I understand scary times and kids. But its like a police convention here. I was going to be left outside with the bums outside. It was disheartening. Thank goodness I really dont have any feeling cause then theyd have a small dent.
Its a wonderful place for local events. Located in the downtown area. Has its own parking lot at a reasonable price. Handicap accessible.
Elegant facility, tremendous design. The City of El Paso needs to restore this iconic, world-class showcase! It has great potential.
I saw the Russian Ballet at this venue and enjoyed it very much. I was in the absolute front row and was scared at first that I wasnt going to be able to see, but it was ok. Friendly, helpful staff, and the ballet was wonderful. I would definitely go back.
Bernie Sanders had his event here...was an awesome venue...comfortable seating, all seat one lower level have good views...
Interesting venue! I liked the layout, not too ADA friendly and the restrooms were complicated too.
Very pleasant place 4 plays, awards, ceremonies. I would recommend this location 2 all my friends, and family.
I went to see Bernie Sanders and everybody was so nice and helpful to find one of the last seats.
I like attending events here because there are really no bad seats. You have a good view from anywhere.
Beautiful Theater with great history. Needs lots of love and attention.
The venue was nice, perfect for the event. Small enough to feel intimate and part of the show. WHICH WAS GREAT. Kim Walker Smith is absolutely an amazing, anointed talent, Big Daddy Weave was, well, Big Daddy Weave, all that I expected. Sarah Reeves and Brandon Heath are upcoming talents. Wonderful voices and true to the message, Jesus.
Bringing my fabulous 5th graders to see the Symphony. Go Stanton Stallions..
I am a 5th grader and went to the simpony and was pretty dope go Paso Del Norte
Great sound here. Needs updating but should be preserved.
Very nice venue! Very clean, well organized. There were lots of vendors for alcohol and even some snacks. The security did a fantastic job making sure we were all safe. There were plenty of staff members around the building, helping people find theyre seats and answering any questions. Also, the bathrooms were HUGE, clean, and well stocked.
Its a beautiful place the theater atmosphere I visit as often as I can
Lots of friendly ushers....the lines for drink sales were very very long so we didnt even try.
Theater is nice but seats are TOO close ( rows) to each other..... When you sit your knees practically hit the back of the room ahead....... If someone needs to get out, the row had to get out so they could...... Was easy to see the stage.
Love this venue. Easy in and out with underground parking and restaurants and bars nearby.
Very nice venue, a little on the old side but still unique.
Fridays, ALFRESCO music shows.Great place to meet people with like music taste.
Horrible staff. The building stunk it smelled like moldy death. The wall are falling apart the seats are terribly uncomfortable too.
Clean and my daughter love the Peppa Pig performance!
Not a bad seat in the house, comfortable, very nice venue
Seating is tight, no cup or drink holders.Depending on the show ticket prices are up there and the ambience does not match three rate you pay! Its old and outdated.Needs allot of remodeling. But it does bring interesting acts!
Very beautiful theater, came here a couple times for concerts and loved it regardless of where my seat was located. Very little to no free parking nearby but the garage allows free parking for handicap and Disabled Veteran plates. Drop off/pick up area up front is very poor.
I am very dissatisfied with this place. The seats are too short. There is no one to direct people to their seats, I helped a few people and this is my first time here. The drinks suck, $8.00 for a splash of Jack Daniels, TABC should investigate for under-pouring. This is the last event I will attend at this venue, The Plaza Theater is 100% better, they know how to take care of their patrons.
Can we please have an update in here? Looks like 1965. Just gross and grimy-looking. Smells like a gymnasium.
Great show Fluffy is amazing. Chavez theater needs to be updated badly.
One of the most unique places you will ever see. The building is shaped like a sombrero! Classic style theater. Great acoustics! Performing a magic show here was so much fun and the crew was very helpful. Must see while in El Paso!
Great place to be... I have always seen great performances for sometime now and always a good seat no matter the angel!
Elegant but needs updated.
Went for the home and garden show. Alot better then expected activities
Great layout, comfortable seating, sound is awesome.
If the sound guys turn the volume down a bit, this is an amazing venue.
Great venue, nice and cozy. We had an awesome time. Great staff and short lines
Pretty good. Though if crowded it gets really warm
This is truly a magnificent venue. No other theater in El Paso has the acoustics that this place does.
EPYSO Fall Concert was awesome!!
They have lots of wonderful events. There is no bad seat. Good view from any section
Clean and good to go with kids
I very like the venue. However, I was on the balcony and for any reason the roofs teathre was decorated with some flashy garlands than did not let me see the complete stage and the big screen.
The theater is a medium sized venue that serves the community by providing a place for various performers to ply their crafts. We went to see Jerry Seinfelds stand-up comedy routine and it was excellent. The only complaint I have about the theater is that the seats are on the smaller side and do not recline so sitting for long periods of time can become uncomfortable.
Gabriel Iglesias @Abraham Chavez Theatre was the best!
Love all the El Paso theaters!
Acoustics were great. Balcony seating was comfortable and spacious compared to some in NYC.
Great venue/theater for any comedian or musical group touring! Parking is on-site, including spaces for the disabled, elevator access and theateraccommodations, as well!
Decent establishment.
Great concert...close up and personal...not a bad seat on the house!!!
Extremely old and .small venue for concerts
Not a good place to see a concert. Pet peeve is that each aisle in the tier has access only at the extreme ends so people are constantly making you get up so they can get past you.
Great venue. Seats were offset enough so someone with a cowboy hat in front of me would not obstruct my view
Very poor staff was rude and did not want to help. The family restrooms do not even have changing area for infants which is unacceptable. High recomend another venue for future events
If anyone leaves their seat for a drink, everyone will notice. Ruined a good show for me. When people leave youre row, a bright light will shine in your eyes. Seats are too close to the seat in front of you. Passer- by-ers are annoying. Just stay in your seat.
Great setup, effecient and friendly staff, and fast service. One of the best concert venues Ive been to in a long time
Please preserve this facility and invite more events.
We present the colors to a Pima College graduation..nice place to go.
Its a great theater and easy parking just wish the acoustics were better
Very nice venue. Good seats, had a great view of the stage. Id go again!
My first time here was in April for a concert. The staff was very helpful and courteous! I look forward to attending future events held here.
Spend the extra money to avoid the balcony - the acoustics in the balcony are terrible. We figured since we were seeing a comedian it didnt matter we couldnt really see. But there are only big speakers down by the stage. We left halfway through a Kevin Hart show () because we couldnt hear anything.
Fun place, comfy chair, lots of room leg.
Great venue... Enjoyed the setup and seats leaned back for comfort with space for people to pass.
Prentice Lofton and company performed Handels Messiah excellently.
Great place.
Love the inside. Need to replace seats
Its city owned. They think theyre all that. Nice place to visit.
The customer service was very nice. We saw The Piano Guys. They were absolutely amazing. The Acoustics were great if you can sit in the orchestra section. We sat on row F seat 34, great view.
Very nice and clean. Security check before entering.
Great Styx show
Beautiful large theater.
Was disappointed. ..DeBlasio spent most of the concert letting the band play their solos...I understand hes trying to give them their moment of glory but I didnt pay to hear their solos but rather payed to listen to DeBlasio...Very disappointed
Good memmories
Great place. East park.
Ive been to two concerts here and theres not a bad seat in the house.
Highly recommend. Will be back for the next concert.
Went for a graduation, it was very nice it was a little hard to see some of the stage.
Experienced Morrissey in concert here at this specific location and was 100% satisfied, absolutely love the seating arrangement and how close the stage is!!! Very intimate setting, also saw Luis Fonsi & Reik at this location and all 3 events were amazing!!!
Row a of the balcony is a little scary, but its a nice theater.
It been long time IV been there forget they have two floors to park
Very nice arena. We had seen Jeff Dunham live at the Chavez. The only drawback I have is they do not allow carrying or even conceal carrying in the building.
Great place for concerts
