Wonderful facility and their staff are helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. They were out of the ammo that I needed for target practice, but the lovely and gracious Emily went the extra-yard and found a store nearby that did! Fifteen minutes later, I was back at Sportsmans Elite, stocked-up and ready to go!! Emily then gave me my orientation; provided a selection of targets to choose from, and had me sign the appropriate paperwork. WHY ARENT ALL COSTUMER SERVICE AGENTS LIKE THIS?! In a world full of crazy, Sportsmans Elite is an oasis of sanity and decency.

First time here! My teammate and I drive a semi truck and there is perfect parking for us right along the street which is a plus for us because getting places in a semi is not always easy! The staff was GREAT! We are definitely coming back on our way back to Cali!

I’m not a big fan of indoor ranges because I find the noise and percussion distracting when I’m trying to shoot. BUT, as far as indoor ranges go, I’m super pleased with this one. Went in to get accustomed to a new carry pistol. Staff is pleasant and professional. Unlike most shops in El Paso, sales floor does not look seedy and cheap. They use tape over cardboard for targets. Digital push-button controls took a bit to get used to, but they function and rails run quick. As a plus, their prices are very reasonable. I got out of there for $22 with three targets. Highly recommended - I’ll definitely be back.

Terrible customer service... I went in to purchase a rifle and optics that added up to around 3K. I was passed to numerous employees. One started the process and then another female showed up and said so youre buying these items. I stated yes. I asked for the manager and he was eating his lunch. I mentioned that an employee had mentioned on the weekend that if there was no ammunition available he was willing to sell me some. The second lady assisting me went to speak with the manager and returned stating that the employee that had told me this would be spoken to and that he never should have done this. Her focus was not on the customer but rather letting me know this was inappropriate. She was rude and stated it is what it is...... Spoke with the manager later and he apologized for the way things were handled. I had never had a bad encounter until dealing with a young lady I had never seen in the store. He said shes normally in the back...... My recommendation would be that she stay there. Poor customer service and offered no resolution other than it is what it is...

Went to this great range, twice this weekend. Very nice range with a great staff. Signed up for a membership, and plan to be there every weekend to shoot. Nice selection of guns and look forward to renting some when they start back up after COVID. Thanks to the entire team there for making me feel welcome.

Extremely disappointed in the we experienced we arrived early hoping to have some fun on our Saturday morning. First off from the beginning we were barely acknowledged, once we signed up and watched their 7 minute video on range safety we were completely ignored. I was excited to shoot my new 1911 in which they had no ammo for after I asked by this time we had been waiting over 10 minutes. We continued to wait for about 30 more minutes after couple after couple entered the range. We finally decided to walk out and no one bothered to acknowledge us to see if we had been helped. I usually don’t like to leave negative remarks being a business owner myself however I was extremely disappointed

Kind and educated employees who have experience varied between military veterans, competitive shooters, and good ol enthusiasts who are willing to share their experience when prompted. If any questions or concerns regarding safety or skill arise, their staff are more than willing to alleviate concerns or step in to prevent issue in a professional and courteous manner. If Mr. Bone still works there, thats my go to guy for any questions.

I pay 10 bucks a month to be for all day anyday range time, jump the head of the line and discounts. This place is amazing and the membership is so worth it. Much better than rod and gun club of fort bliss and gun central.

The highest quality range imaginable. Great lanes and the best staff I have ever interacted with. I recently had a problem with my personal rifle while on their range. One staff member whom I forget the name of (I’ll update this review once i remember it) helped me and referred me to another staff member, Richard, who was then able to expertly solve my problem and fix my rifle. Nowhere else would you receive this kind of hands on knowledgeable help from employees. Would recommend this over every other range

I wanted to sign up for the Introduction to handguns course but had trouble to do so, thats when I called the store. The gentleman who answered was very helpful and told me to send them an email, so they could look into it. After waiting two days, I still didnt get a reply, so I sent them another one and still no reply yet. I guess they dont want my business ...very rude and unprofessional!

Was here for the introduction class. It was really informative. I definitely feel more confident about handling a gun now. The instructor is really helpful and the class are limited to 5 people so you get to have a lot of personal 1 to 1 time.

This place is a great place to shoot. The staff is excellent and always there to help. If you have a jam they are more than willing to help you out. Dave and Richard are very knowledgeable and helpful. 5 star establishment!

Absolutely a delight from my experience today. I took a concealed carry course as a new resident of Texas and was blown away by the true love and education offered by Richard. He was extremely knowledgeable with a passion for his teaching. I left feeling well taught and wanting to learn more. I have attended training, women & wine nights, and regular shooting here and they have always been polite, friendly, and knowledgeable! They often give good recommendations on cleaning supplies and have firearms for rent as well if you are in the market and want to try different firearms to narrow down your search.

Very nice staff. Gunsmith & armorer work is even better! Highly recommend if you need work done on your firearms.

Great place to shoot...with that being said need to have someone mange the range better. Drove from East side and waited for a hour and a half. Understand it is busy and reservation got priority..but there was 4 lanes open for 30 mins. Why could the walk in not use those lanes? Maybe put a time limit on the range of 45min during heavy demand. Advice to anyone wanting to shoot...make reservations

Awesome gun shop and range! I taught my girlfriend how to shoot here one afternoon while driving through Texas. She had never shot a firearm before, and I thought teaching her would be a great idea. The staff here were super cool. Very friendly and helpful, made my girlfriend feel welcome and comfortable. All in all we shot and now she knows how to handle and loves guns! She has a totally different opinion on them now!

I was visiting the range with my boyfriend from Germany. I myself haven’t shot that often so both of us were excited to shoot a full-auto gun. We rented some and got really good advises of how to shoot and also about each gun. We got to talk to Richard at the range who turned out to know exactly what he is talking about. He supported us with any kind of help that we needed and answered our questions professionally.Thanks for your service, support and the great time we were allowed to spend there. Absolutely the strangest shooting experience Ive had anywhere in the world. Truly straight out of the twilight zone.I was the only person on the range when two women, one an instructor the other a student, (both about 70 years old)came up and positioned themselves In the booth next to me.They proceeded to discuss shooting safety although it was obvious the student had absolutely NO shooting experience what so ever. Equally obvious was that the instructor was only marginally more knowledgeable as she was demonstrating how to load the weapon while pointing it straight at her student! Not in a safe direction down range but right at her student!Within a very few minutes the instructor stepped into my booth took me by the elbow while I was shooting and demanded I stop . Shouting that my gun was too loud for them to hear each other! Unbelievable, they could have choosen any other shooting booth but took the one right next to mine and then demanded that I stop while she instructed.Later this instructor was in an arm sling behind the counter.Unbelievably unprofessional and completely unsafe. I have obviously never returned.

AMAZING I took my wife here to use a shoot a variety of firearms for the first time not only were they patient with her and our curiosity and questions, the prices were incredible and affordable. Not only was the staff friendly and understanding but inviting as well. This will be the only place i go to purchase firearms and range activities.

I love coming here for practice, the only downside is the ammo prices even with the discount are a bit much and you cant fire shotguns. Other than that one of the best ranges in El Paso and very professional staff.

Outstanding place to relax and shoot the weapon of choice. My wife and I visited today for the first time and we were highly impressed. Staff, along with the establishment, was top notch. We arrived around 4:45 pm and after registering, watching the safety video, etc., we were able to shoot and have fun. The Staff were informative and happy go lucky....very nice indeed. The customer service was fine and adequate. But I got thrown to the back of the line to use your shooting range not once not twice but three times. They wasted my afternoon route there. Cool place, gets very busy around the holidays, be sure you make a reservation. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and helpful. They helped me breakdown my new firearm and understand where to clean and lubricant it. Nice selection of guns to rent and the prices on ammo (required for rental) are reasonable.

Attended the Intro to Handguns course. Absolutely a great course for those who are interested in handguns but have no experience. Instructor kept things interesting and extremely helpful. Class size is 5 or less allowing for individual attention when necessary. I really like the indoor range too. I definitely plan to take some of their follow-on courses.

Great service and great staff. It is always a pleasure to go to a range/store where the staff is as passionate about guns as I am. I gave 4/5 simply because their pricing isnt as competitive as other places Ive been too. However, they have bills too so when I can, I dont mind shelling out a little extra to keep them going.Their License to Carry class pricing is unbeatable as well as the instructors who teach the class. 5/5 for the classes offered!

My coworker asked to view over under shotguns on the shelf behind the counter. The disinterested employee started to hand him a lever action rifle.

Excellent air conditioned range that goes out to 75 ft. Decent prices and quality gunsmith. The only negatives are 1 they only carried one brand of 357 magnum perfecta brand wich is good but will not function properly in my desert eagle and 2 the cute blonde lady who looks like Cindy Lauper gave me a little attitude maybe she had a case of the mondays, it happens. Overall it was a positive experience and there is no denying that this is the best public indoor range in El Paso.

I really like coming here. The staff is friendly and helpful. They have always been great at answering my questions (and I have a lot of them). Cant beat the happy hour deal and ladies night deal. Gotta love the customers that go here too. They always pipe in with a lot of good advice.

Got my first gun here, great place.

I had a weapon delivered to Sportsmans Elite and they did it for $40 which isnt cheap BUT I can say that Im glad I did it because I know that transfers are somewhat of a nuisance for the staff anywhere and they were fast and professional with me. They also gave me a call when it arrived and werent rude with me which Ive come to expect when I buy online.Also, Ive purchased a weapon there and they were very helpful and I got a free shooting range pass with my purchase. If you are a newbie I think this is a good place to go because you will get good guidance.Most gun shops can feel really uncomfortable because they are often staffed with butt holes that give terrible customer service and are super judgmental. I can say my experience here was better than 9/10 shops Ive been to and will be going back to make more buys.

I love this range. Safety first, very clean and well-run range and store, air conditioned, gun rentals available, store carries weapons of all kinds, outdoor gear, archery equipment, accessories. Bathrooms are very nice. Staff is the best. Lots of classes and interesting events to meet people at.

My wife and I have decided to purchase handguns and learn to shoot. We both have been made to feel welcome and comfortable even though we are beginners with hand guns. They took us through the various styles and calibers available with no pressure to purchase. There is a nice selection of hand guns to rent. I ended up purchasing my hand gun elsewhere and had it shipped to Sportsmans Elite. Everything went smoothly. We are going to attend the Intro to Handgun training course this weekend. Our goal is to learn to use our guns in a safe and effective manner. Sportsmans Elite is helping us to do that.

I am very happy with Sportsman’s Elite! Prices are a little steep, but people need to realize that this is truly a small business. In order for these guys to make a profit (the objective of any business) they can’t compete with big box stores prices. However, what they lack in financial incentives they more than make up for in customer service. Most of the sales associates are extremely familiar with a wide variety of firearms and will take the time to answer any questions you have. As for the range, it is outstanding. Well-lit and clean. The price isn’t too bad either at $15. I have also seen several 2 for 1 Groupon deals for these guys if you want to take a spouse or friend. If there is a better deal in town with a friendly, knowledgeable staff and quality range, I haven’t found it. I would recommend this range to anyone! You wont be disappointed.

I went today to try it out and I had a wonderful experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first time at an Indoor shooting range and I had a great time. The staff was non judgemental and even the other customers went above and beyond to help me.

Walked in 4 minutes after 6pm and was told I could not use the range because I missed it by 4 f#@$# minutes, seriously!!!! Wont waste my time here again. Not the friendliest either. Guess Ill take my business elsewhere.....

This place is great, I took my wife and sister in law shooting here a few weeks back, they had never been to the range or shot a gun before and the young lady that helped us kind of picked up that they were nervous. She reassured them that if they follow all safety guidelines that nothing would go wrong, she explained to them that it would be loud but the would grow accustomed to it as our range time went on. While I was teaching my sister in law how to hold the gun and deal with the recoil I got a nasty pistol bite on my hand, and the staff was more than helpful with rendering first aid and getting me back in the lane. They have gained customers for life out of myself and my family.

Went here yesterday with my mother her being a former gun owner and me very new to everything. Richard took us in and explained every question we had from training to defensive mindfullness. I was also interested in purchasing a gun and he helped as well. Overall, Sportman Elite and Richard made us feel very welcomed. We will be back to train and take classes! Advice to females, totally good to go solo here, the whole staff is friendly and dont treat anyone unequal. If you have questions dont be nervous to ask!

I love this range. I took my LTC course here and my teacher was awesome and very knowledgeable about all the firearms I had. Always clean and very secure. Im thinking of getting the membership.

Quality facility the indoor range is well maintained they have atleast 10 lanes prices are good better then some places in town. They have full auto rentals there semi autos for renting are decent had no issues with firing. The staff are probly the most helpful people at a gun store I have ever met Henry the manager is very helpful and very nice the women that works the counter most of the time is also very helpful and nice there is another man I dont rember his name he is also knowledgeable and helpful. We will be coming back to shoot from here rather then some other stores in the area well worth the time and money

Was helped by a guy named Louie and we talked about my planned AR-15 build. He was brutally honest, which I needed, and guided me to consider different options. This store has highly knowledgeable and helpful staff that will steer you to the right firearm.

Called and girl couldnt tell me if they had a shotgun or not. What kind of business are you? Needed to buy one and was willing to drive over there from the far east. Explained that and asked to speak to someone else, and then she told me it would be a thirty minute wait. Will not be shopping here again!

I like this place, they are always helpful and good people. Have only went a few times but I like their range. 50 rounds 9mm for $15 roughly and 150 5.56 for $65 roughly. Not to bad and good place to shoot.

Great range and friendly staff! A nice cool place to shoot during the heat of the summer when outdoor locations are smoldering. The paperwork is an easy digital read, the safety video is short, and both help you feel more at ease with using their facilities.

This is less of a review and more of a question. Am I allowed to bring my own rifle? Theres a hunting rifle at my house and I would like to get myself used to it so Im trying to find a place to test it. I was wondering if it was ok.

They have a friendly staff and a pretty good selection on firearms! The indoor range is nice and they also have an archery range outside. You can also rent full auto weapons to try on the range. Ammo is on the high side but thats common for a smaller shop it seems.

Went to trade a firearm that I bought from them less than a month ago. I got it used but I never fired it. I wanted to put it towards another firearm. I spoke to Henry the guy who I guess makes those types of deals. Now it’s an 800$ firearm. I seen them used about 600$ I was looking to put it towards a 450$ firearm and really no more than 50-100$ cash on my end. He proceeded to tell me he couldn’t offer much and making excuses . I told him don’t lowball me I know what it’s worth then he said I’m not interested in it. I know he was going to lowball me thinking I don’t know what it’s worth. I know they have to make money so I expected to put some cash on top. I have done business there many times now I will no longer do business with sportsman’s elite due to Henry giving me the double talk and wanting to lowball me on a price. I have no issue taking my business to another shop. It’s a shame I have been doing business there for years and now due to Henry I will spend my money at another shop. Good job Henry you cost the owner a customer

THESE GUYS ARE GREAT !! If you want a no BS answer to anything archery, guns, or hunting, these guys are it. They are up front with you, even if they cant make the sale, and they wont sell you anything you dont need. Highly recommend you stop by, just to take a look!

I am a female who knows more about firearms than most guys. I went here with two guy friends, and the staff members were all males as well. Long story short, I hardly recieved eye contact from the employees, and they disregarded me and paid their full attention to my male friends. This was more than one staff member as well. I will never go back there. I felt extremely disrespected and degraded as a female member of the firearm community.
