A bit steep. If you are taking big dogs who like to pull, you will need to either be strong enough to control them or let them walk on their own. The trail is narrow so need to watch out for other dogs if you have reactive dogs. Its a good short climb with awesome view of El Cerrito.

Hill is steep, narrow and rocky, but switchbacks make it possible. Views from the ridge make it all worthwhile. Interesting sights along the way.

This is a small but very hilly trail for hiking, no you cant ride your bikes up there, the view of San Francisco, Mt Tamalpais and o lot of the east bay is beautiful. The sunsets on a clear day are amazing.

Great parking with a view

An excellent hiking spot! Its easy enough for an hours distraction, but difficult enough at points to work up a little sweat. Some of the views are gorgeous, especially on clear days, and the elevation difference from top to bottom is about 90 feet. If youre quiet you can catch some local wildlife doing their thing. One word of warning: I was hiking here a year or two ago and a kid was tearing down the trail on a bike. He bit it on a switchback and nearly took out me and my toddler a bit below him. So keep your awareness up! This is a great little hike.

Nice view worth the steep climb. Beware of poison oak sometimes infringing on narrow side trails.

Good place to go and chill.
