Nice little hike with good bay view. We went with our one year old (in a carrier mostly but did let her run around and explore for a bit) and she had a lot of fun. Came here when I was pregnant too, the hike is easy and the area is friendly for all ages.

This is a great hiking spot for familys with kids. Its not too long and the view is beautiful. We have a great time every time we go.

Wear good hiking shoes! Loose gravel areas and lots of poison oak just off trail if you have an adventurous dog

Lovely views, and easy access. What a gem, except for City neglect.Overgrown and dangerous with dead trees ready to break a limb and fall on you.HNA is surely adding a lot of fuel (from the accumulated dead undergrowth) to help spread any neighborhood fire.Apparently El Cerrito City officials have not recently visited to see current condition.I recommend the City Attorney or insurance officials visit to mitigate this disaster waiting to happen.

Beautiful area close to neighborhoods for walking and getting a respite from the suburbs. Well cared for area that is fuel-controlled during fire season.

A steep climb up the hill but among the best view in the bay area. Good spots for stealth vancamping nearby.

Dry scrub and eucalyptus trees on this pretty steep climb. Great views over the roofs of El Cerrito and the Bay. The Golden Gate Bridge is visible straight ahead, at a distance of about 12 miles as the crow flies.

Nice place to take a walk, good view of El cerrito and the surrounding cities.

Excellent workout. Start at the bottom, work your way up and you get some of the benefits of running without actually running.
