My mom passed away in May of 2020. She used to play pool at The Grand almost every night. She absolutely loved that place and it was very near and dear to her heart. Her birthday was on October 6, and I couldn’t think of anything better than to hold a birthday party for her at The Grand. Sarah made this event more than I ever could have hoped for and it’s something my family and I will remember forever. The environment and vibes at this bar are unmatchable and every single staff member is amazing. The outside area is beautiful. Thank you for throwing an unforgettable event! ️
Always fun and a good time! I like to just have a drink and listen to good music and relax.
Went during the day on a Sunday, a guy bartender makes some killer Bloody Marys!! One of a the few that had shrimp, bacon, pickled vegetables, and a hard boiled egg! It was delicious, but back on the bloodys, made from scratch and served in a Pyrex measuring glass, because why not? Check the place out for some day drinking bloodys
Great place! Staff is very friendly and drinks are strong.
Been here before one of my favorite places can wait to go there again an dance and party with my one n only lady of mines. An great place of laughter and fun!
Really nice place. The patio is amazing. Good prices. DJs on the weekend are fantastic. Great night life. Karaoke on Tuesday and Thursday is the best in town.
Fun place, fun events! Join us for Paint Night with Beth. Guided paint instruction while enjoying your favorite brew or cocktail.
Best service. Great experience. Fun atmosphere. Highly recommended
The owner is the epitome of courage. Anybody who cannot divorce themselves from a weapon and attempts to destroy a responsible person who cares for the safety of his customers is confused. Bravo to you, sir. Thank you for caring for my safety.
Best Bloody Marys in the entire county on weekends. Karaoke host is amazing. Staff has always been friendly, helpful and the bartenders make really good drinks. Love the vibe, especially the patio out back.
Unfortunately, I cannot say anything nice about this place anymore, Myself and my club have gone here for years, spent money, plaid pool, been respectful. So, it is slap in the face to be told we are no longer welcome even though we or people we hang out with have never done anything wrong. Despite the one sided media comments, motorcycle clubs including 1%ER clubs are not criminal gangs, and saying they are not only means you are a liar, but it is defamation. I would be happy to debate this anytime and almost anywhere. I would wish you good luck but you do not care about your clients.Dr Flavius Akerele III
Great place! Came for Sunday football and heard the best bloody Marys. Everyone working there was nice, but our bar attender Madison was awesome. Made my week. I ll be there next weekend.
Always a great time at the grand. Fun times and fun people. Friday night steak nights are the best.
I think Ive been out of east county too long. Every time I come here with friends from the neighborhood I feel like theres about to be a fight. Im just a paranoid, Im sure its fine. Prices are awesome, service is great, hours are unheard of and the patio is huge. Nice.
This bar is not Biker friendly as they have banned motorcycle clubs for being here, which is a clear violation of our constitutional rights and our American freedoms. In California, the relevant statute is called the Unruh Civil Rights Act (California Civil Code section 51 et seq.) This statute provides that All persons within the jurisdiction of this state are free and equal, and no matter what their sex, race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin or blindness or other physical disability are entitled to the full and equal accommodations, advantages, facilities, privileges or services in all business establishments of every kind whatsoever. Any person whose exercise or enjoyment of rights secured by the Constitution or laws of the United States has been interfered with, or attempted to be interfered with may institute and prosecute a civil action for injunctive and other appropriate equitable relief, including the award of compensatory monetary damages. The Supreme Court ruled in the case of Cohen v. California 403 US 15 (1971) that individuals have the constitutional right under the First Amendment to wear clothing which displays writing or designs.
Worst service ever from bartender Jaimie. Had to wait 10 minutes for drink. Customers complaining aabout her service. Kept going outside.
------------------------------------------------------------------------The Grand: 9/16/18Dear Friends, Guests, and Customers of The Grand:I regret that, today, we are announcing a new policy with respect to individuals and/or groups that we will serve at The Grand. As it is widely understood, every bar reserves the right to refuse service at their discretion for any reason that is not specifically prohibited by Federal, State, or local statutes. For almost 3 years, I have strived to remain open-minded - - even about people and/or groups to which I had never previously been exposed. Unfortunately, some of the preconceptions that are widely held by a majority of people, have been reinforced despite my efforts to avoid prejudgement. As a consequence of the complete disrespect that we have been shown and the complete disregard for our rules that has been demonstrated, we will no longer permit members of 1 Percent Motorcycle Clubs at The Grand. The single greatest contributing factor behind this decision is the contempt that these groups have shown for our No Weapons policy. We are left with no choice but to permanently bar these groups/individuals permanently and effective immediately.I am confident that this will result in a more pleasant, enjoyable, and safe environment for the vast majority of others who constitute our customer base.Thank you,Jeffrey DiLalloThe Grand
Love the place great steaks great drinks.
Love it!Milani is awesome, enjoy being here, not because Im an alcoholic, but enjoy her company!
I went there on 10-8-17 to watch the game. And the people there are rude. Our team lost and i heard one guy say you can leave now. I am new to California and i would tell anyone not to go to this place. They are not friendly at all. I have been to sports bars before and never had someone tell us we can leave now. Go there if you want to. We should have been enjoying ourselves but instead we got insulted.
Great place.. love everyone and the fact its gay friendly.... they have an awesome Friday ribeye dinner.... that will knock ur socks off... a must try
Most Chillin Adult Place!...I saved a mans life there once.
Went there with a co worker of mine and it was cool to see they had Angry Orchard beer, hacky sak throw in hole game and horse shoes in the beautiful back patio. Heard they have karaoke so it might be a cool to try that out. Nice bar with two pool tables as well and great drink specials like 4 buck Jack but those two I dont do yet.
Awesome Bloody Marys!! Stopped by while on vacation from Phoenix (close to our hotel) would come back again while in town just for the bloody Marys?!
Wed and Thursday is kareoke nights and its a lot of fun.. I dont have guts to be up there but its great seeing.others.. the service is great the host is amazing and on fridays they play great musicto dance. it can get crowded tho
This is not a place thats welcoming to all people of color. Not saying they are discriminatory to all people of color. Just sayin that they are to some. And more people of color that I talk to that frequent the place are complaining about how they are treated. Heres my experience.Ive been going there about a month. There were times where Id request to see games and thered be pushback from employees. Almost as if they didnt want to do it. Others not so much. There was also times where theyd suggest people of color should congregate in the back where no one would see us. Again. Nothing outlandish. But things one would notice. I tried to not pay much attention to it. Because, for the most part, it was cool bar where drinks were cheap and there were multiple TVs to watch the games. The breaking point was one Sunday I asked for them to mix a Black and Tan and Jack and Coke. They refused to do it. So I ordered them separately and then mixed them myself. I even grabbed a plastic bottle to do it with the plan of shaking it up and pouring it into my glass. Well the bartender was offended and grabbed both drinks. AFTER Id paid for both and ordered me to get out. I complied but only after she screamed at me and ordered me to never come back. Maybe she thought Id plan to walk out with the drink. I dont know. She never really explained herself. This is my problem. If you thought I was going to leave with the drinks, come talk to me. Dialogue with me. Dont just take my drinks after Ive paid for them. If she had asked me to drink them before I left, I wouldve did that. But she didnt give me that option. What does this have to do with race? Maybe nothing. I do know this. I went to that bar for a month. I never saw them treat another patron like that. Ever. Ive heard another rumblings from other black patrons about being treated differently but they just didnt want to say anything. Most other patrons were very cool. But some were very hostile. Almost like I shouldnt be in there. Thats enough for me. None of this is a coincidence. If you decide to go, thats cool. Enjoy yourself. Maybe they wont mess with you. But if they do, just remember you arent the first one. You dont have to spend your money there. There are other places that would love to take your money without putting through the same stuff.
Love it since the ban.
Amazing karaoke here on Thursday nights!
Cool band, good local vibe.
Everyone at The Grand rocks! They also have bloody marys on the weekends!
