If you love country music youre gonna love this place!! It has a good size dance floor, live music Fridays and Saturdays, pool tables, outdoor seating with a fire pit and enough seating around it to stay warm on the chilly east county nights. This place attracts crowds of all ages!!

Small bar and dance. Great happy hour and bartenders. Get your country music and dancing on here. There is food available and it is good. Outside patio area to smoke, eat and drink if you dont want to be inside. It is out in the boondocks of Lakeside off interstate 8, but fun.

Awesome little country bar that has anything from karaoke to live bands depending on the night. The owner is super friendly. The staff was nice as well. If you find yourself around lakeside, definitely check it out off lake Jennings exit.

Great authentic country western bar. Quite literally one of San Diegos hidden gems. If you are looking for a country bar with all the things you come to expect from a western bar, look no further. FYI they DONT charge a cover charge like that knock off so called country bar incahoots. Its all smiles and good times here. PS.. boots and hats optional ;-)

The best western bar in... well whatever. This place is awesome. The people who work there are fantastic, the music is great, and theres no attitude with the guests. Love coming here, love being here.

We enjoyed it here. It was crazy busy, it was Saturday night after all.As we arrived there was line dancing classes in anticipation of the live band.Luckily they opened the back area, as there was no where to sit inside. We loved the menu. Delicious and affordable. My hubby had a great time telling our steaks for us!!We also liked that you could hear the band clearly, and still be able to chat outside.Not enough parking!!!Not enough seating!!!Overall, great, wed go again.

Just going for the dance lessons right now but the instructors and patrons are SUPER nice and helpful. Very welcoming!

Bartender was rude. Told us to pace ourselves after being there 4 hours.I thought thats what we were doing having a shot and beer every hour. Is this really a country bar or is it another yuppy California bar posing as a country bar. Overall the band was great, the patrons nice, no food!!!

When the right band is there on a Thursday or Sunday its not too crowded to two step or do wear coast swing. Weekends have gotten to crowded for my taste, but there place is VERY popular. Dont miss it!

Four stars cause its a really nice bar good service 2 pool tables country western w a large dance floor but they flagged be after 7 beers..I dont like when they say..oh you can have water now..if I havent done something to be kicked out..who are you to dictate to me how to be resposible..tisk tisk..soy

Great atmosphere, fun dance lessons and friends really enjoyed the parmesan crusted grilled cheese and the fried green beans. Siracha/ ketchup dipping sauce was tasty. Ill go back

This is a great spot for drinks with friends! They have live music on Friday nights, and the drink prices arent astronomical. It has a great atmosphere, and the staff is always friendly and fast.

Visited here from out of town. We first went to the gaslamp area and I was so bored. We decided to come here and I havent had this much fun in ages. I learned to counter dance. Everyone was so friendly!

I went there a few times about10 years ago and I would have given the a -1.They have really fixed the place up! Very clean.Great bouncers made me feel safe!. Just not my type of place.But a nice place for a casual place to country dance.

My steak was tender and tasty. The whole dinner proce6was a little confusing as this was my first time at the Renegade.

Really pleasantly surprised at all the remodeling theyve done. It is quite a change from the old, rundown place it used to be. Nice ventilation system, new pool cues, clean inside... Well go back for sure now.

Great free 2-hour class to learn dance steps, new ownership improvements are country classy, even have a food truck outside all price-friendly. Will definitely be returning!️

Really nice airy country bar, I am by no means a country music fan but my boyfriend is somewhat and really enjoyed it there, they have a great selection of beer and wine, live music and dancing for those inclined.

This place is great! Great atmosphere, great drinks and food and great staff. Barbara is friendly, cool and down to earth. I will be back and recommend the Renegade.

Great group fun with friends! Steak dinner is amazingly good and affordable, line dancing and live music makes the evening perfect laid back fun! Employees are the best anywhere in the county and no cover!

We are couples country dancers. We were disappointed because there really wasnt enough dance floor for more than 15 couples and they all had to be going the same direction. The music was loud when it started and all the same beat..service was good. Food was good. Probably wont be going back.

Nice interior big and clean but Expensive to drink here after happy have to pay $1 to $1 50 more per beer or drink compared to other places close by.
