75% of the times you should expect an OUT OF FOCUS movie (the screen is all blurry), and these technical issues really bother the viewer and take away the purpose of a cenima.The service of the staff is good however!

I went here to see a movie. They were not selling tickets at the box office and were actually selling tickets at the concession stand. It was packed that day and although there were four people working the concession stand the lines were very very long. I got there 15 minutes before the movie was to start. The movie had actually started by the time I got approximately 6 people from the concession counter. As slow as the line was moving I decided to forget the whole thing. I left there and ended up going to a different theater and seeing the same movie at a later time. I also got to see the movie for a cheaper price. I will never go to this movie theater again.

Theater itself is fine. Not the cream of the crop, but nice enough. The staff is completely checked out though. Going to a theater, you expect the high school kids to be not interested in doing their job or giving the best service, but this group takes it to a new level. If you want anything from the concession stand, make sure you are there at least 30 minutes before the movie... on a slow night. Picture the sloths from Zootopia, but slower and with less organization. They literally will take an order for multiple items and make individual slow trips to pick up each one and bring them back one by one. Nobody helps with fulfilling orders... Its individual cashiers... picking up... individual items... and slowly walking them back to the counter no matter how many people are backed up in the line.

We went in for a 945pm movie and were told to pick our seat from a chart. What happened to open seating. There were maybe 12 people. Stupid. The movie trailers lasted until 1030pm. We were getting mad one stupid movie trailer after another plus ads. It was ridiculous, we almost walked out. The movie was fine. I guess its better to be 45 minutes late.

Nice theatre. Ticket line was huge. Tickets expensive. They gave us the wrong tickets and we didnt realize it until we walked into the movie in the middle of it. Took forever to get that scared away. Ticket taker was the table they sell movie package deal. Very confusing. Picking seats from these are all we have available in the nosebleeds when the theatre is 3/4 empty. Whats with that? Concession line was 30 minutes. Wouldnt it make more sense to have some runners that can get your food rather than the cashier doing it all? We werent overly thrilled.

I love this theater. Its big, clean, and the energy is laid back. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about movie things. I like to get freshly made popcorn and butter. I like to see movies here because the parking lot is huge and Target is nearby and other retail and food places. Hooleys is next door too!

I have always liked this theater. It is a dedicated theater, not just part of a mall. The staff are friendly and helpful. The concession stand food is always fresh, no cold or mushy popcorn.

I only gave 4 stars simply because back home our ticket purchase price discount is much more savings, but that aside, its a great theater! My service dog enjoyed watching Zombieland Double Tap in her own seat and had a great evening w us! Shes helping us live our best lives! Blessings.

Loved it, except for the part where the actor came onto the staircase and abducted 3 civilians, it was kind of too realistic for me. Other than that, 10/10 experience.

Staff is great. Some of the theaters are a little dated with small cloth seats, but the place is being updated bit by bit. The only bad thing about this theater is other customers, just be patient and be kind to the staff. The staff put up with way more here than they Ive noticed at other theaters.

Only good thing about this place is that is super close to where I live, I’ve been here twice and will not return.the condition of the seats is enough to see why, this is completely unacceptable, i finished watching frozen but really was just anxious to go home and wash mine and my kids clothes.lookin around and notice how filthy everything is, i did not get any concession but after that i’d never eat anything here.

I dont like the long lines especially when it is cold outside. One time there was only one person working. I also dont like it when you have to get your tickets at the concession stand because it takes longer. Prices for concessions are ridiculous, like most movie theaters

The room we were in was super hot and they said they would turn the A/C on but never did. You would think customer service would be important especially in a 3hr movie. I have always loved going here but tonight just seemed very under staffed. They did reimburse us of our tickets which was good.

I grew up going to this theater almost exclusively. Nowadays Im always surprised this location is still open considering how outdated it is in most aspects. During my last visit, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they do assigned seating but was disappointed to have to pull out my phone for lighting to find my seat. Even the hall felt empty, like the theater is shutting down soon. Nowadays I frequent other theaters that provide spacious recliners, proper seat labeling, free refills on drinks that you can fill yourself, and more competitive pricing for food and drinks. Unfortunately, the only convenience this location offers is being close to home if you live in Rancho or El Cajon.

Comfortable, convenient theater in East County, San Diego. They have assistive devices for the vision and hearing impaired. The staff are friendly and efficient.

Went to see The Lion King was amazing and so comfortable the whole time. But a little bit messy on the floors!! Was a great experience over all.

Very dirty carpets, stinks, air smells, ventilation stinks like its dirty and old. Service is fine but the cleanliness is poor especially around the concessions and food areas. Seats are dirty and stained also. Careful where you sit.. lol

Nice theater, the screens are all on the same side so its convenient to see multiple movies (paid for of course)I love the idea of buying your seat, it ensures that youll be next to your friends or family or if you arent able to be together that youll know where they are.A lot of the arm rests were broken and the cup holders dont hold the large cups straight.

The staff inside the theater was nice and helpful. Unfortunately, the cashier at the ticket booth was so rude, I asked him to tell me how to apply for the reward program. He said go online and he looked at the person after me in the line. I was very disappointed especially it was not the first time I had the same experience with the cashier at the ticket booth.

Good theater. Ample parking. The joy is being greeted by the same guy for more than a decade. He treats everyone like an old friend. And as you leave after your movie, he always asks what you thought. It is refreshing.

I would love for you to carry some coffee choices. Also, the bathrooms were very messy and unstocked the day I went. Not always though.

Everyone is every helpful very approachable, and so very nice. I used the app Atom and they made sure I knew where to go. It did take some time at the concession stand because they didnt have the Atom scanner, but it was taken care of quickly. The chairs wher comfy and my daughter (whom weighs 60Lbs soaking wet) did not have a hard time staying in the seat or having it come up while shes sitting in it, so that made things easier. Love this place.

I know it was my fault getting to the theater just a few minutes before my movie started but I had a bad experience. Purchased my ticket quickly and raced to the snack counter to grab popcorn but the wait time was unacceptable! It was about 1pm on a Saturday and they only had one lady (very slow lady) behind the snack counter and there were 3 people ahead of me. The lady in front of me said she had been waiting for a very long time! I kept thinking one of the other workers walking around with their dustpans would notice and get some help. I was hoping I was only missing some previews. No such luck! I missed the beginning of my movie...boo!! Not happy at all!

Went to see Ford vs Ferrari movie on 1-4-20 was great.BUT the theatre was horrible! They were cooking us! It was at least 80 degrees!!! So uncomfortable Not Good!

Went on Monday for a 9:00pm movie.. It was about $43 for 2 tickets, 1 soda & 1 popcorn which I understand because its the movies and it was a Monday but the popcorn was disgusting and not fresh at all. By the time I wanted more soda i go to concessions and nobody is there and the lights are off. If youre going to up-sell because of free refills than at least keep someone there for the duration of the movie.

Nice concession stand clean well organized friendly staff to help out with our large group of kids offering there snacks, always clean bathrooms and theatre tools and chair are in good condition. Always a pleasure to visit

I love everything about the movie experience. So this is my second home. The staff is so awesome. The older ticket gentleman, he always makes me appreciate going to that theater.

I absolutely love this quiet out of the way cinema! Fair pricing, plenty of screens and good showtimes with friendly staff and a really beautiful look! Ive been to see some new movies that pack out most theaters but have always been pleasently surprised to find there is PLENTY of empty seating and i have never felt cramped here.

Movie was great,but a bottle of water was $5.00.Totally ridiculous price for water that anywhere else is less than $2.00

I have always enjoyed going to this movie theatre, but it wasnt until our last visit a few weeks ago that i was able to see how they go above and beyond for their customers. My pregnant wife and I went to enjoy a movie at which point at the end of the movie my wife could not walk out of the theatre due to excruciating pain on one of her legs. Once the rest of the audience left, my wife attempted to walk again and couldnt. One employee cleaning the aisle asked if we needed help and promptly got us some help. Three other employees came in to help my wife walk out of the theatre and into our car. It took some time and they stayed helping us all the way. They were attentive and courteous. My wife and i are completely appreciative of this team of employees and the help they brought us. Hopefully they read this and know that we thank them a lot.

Such a nice thing to do with the grand kids or even just us. Its a good location. Lots of places nearby to eat and shop.

This movie theater has very high prices. $11.20 for seniors after 12noon. Absurd for the area. Only went because others in my group wanted to go.There are cheaper theaters around, like the Regal in Chula Vista. Under $5 before 4pm I think.

Good variety of films. Comfortable seats. Nice sized viewing rooms with good acoustics. Great prices if you can get there early. Nice restaurants nearby for before or after.

This used to be a great theater. Not today. We paid extra because it was a holiday weekend. But there was not enough staff. Long lines for tickets because only one teller. Inside no toilet paper or seat covers and dirty restrooms, the counters were so gross at the food counter it made me gag. There were not enough people running the concessions either. One line and 20 odd people waiting. I had a free drink and could not get it until 2 hours into the movie. The place was filthy. What a mess.

Its a little out of the way for us, but the theaters here are spacious and there are never too many people. We always go here for opening nights. The guy checking ticket stubs is also amazing!

Courteous staff clean theater and not over priced

Very disappointed in the theater yesterday. My popcorn was stale and burned, the girl behind the counter was really slow, and there were no movies listed for any theater. Since the girl tore our ticket wrong, the theater wasn’t listed on our stub. When I went to ask her what theater Avengers was in she couldn’t tell me. Sure miss the black gentleman that used to welcome us. Hope the fact that Regal took over doesn’t mean the theater is on a downward swing. Used to be my favorite go-to theater.

Family, Neighborhood Theatre. The staff is wonderful. Very friendly. One thing though, the floor is always dirty. Ive never walked in that theater and saw the carpet clean. Its always full of popcorn. Always. Even the floor behind the counter is always full of popcorn. I dont notice this and other theaters just there. But I love the place! And I love the guy that sings. The friendly staff keeps me coming back.

I have been loyal customer to Regal cinema for more than 6 years now, till tonight, I faced the rudest person you can ever meet, I had a reward points in my account and I asked the cashier to redeem it with a popcorn, when I reached the counter, I saw the popcorn filled with a yellow bags which means it’s not fresh, so I asked the Servant to change my free popcorn with a Coca Cola because the popcorn was not fresh, his reply was sorry he can’t and then the manager came with rudest reply I ever heard, “ the popcorn is fresh “ with a nasty look, and kept repeating its fresh, its fresh, while it was on the other side of the counter in a yellow bags .This is not the right way to treat your customers Mr. Manger, with your fancy suit, you shouldn’t be the manager as your stuff are more polite than you.This will me my last time for me and my family to visit regal .P.S photos are attached

Customer Service was awful... only one person running concessions...line super long finally Manager came to assist... very very rude individual...I asked why theres no assistance with concessions...as per her short staff manager over her selling tickets...call people in to help my suggestion...but as per her not allowed...why open Theater if unable to run sufficiently???I definitely will not come back to this Theater again!

Cashier at ticket booth was not so pleasant which was ok. But in between the popcorn and or nachos, I caught a really horrible case of food poisoning. Which sucks majorly since here I am out of commission having to stay home while my family enjoys this beautiful Saturday without me. So needless to say, I wont be returning and will give my friends and family a heads up too.

Mostly every time I come here its trouble free. But one time the sound halfway through the movie had stopped for some reason. It took them about 20 minutes to fix it. They were nice enough to rewind the movie to where it left off. I definitely prefer Edwards over any nearby movie theater. Always clean, friendly, and not too crowded.

I love how this theater is never crowded! It is clean, the service is fast and the ushers are the sweetest! My favorite are the older sweet lady that always has a smile and the older gentleman that sings when he is not helping a customer.

This review is strictly for the ticket takers. There are two standouts. The sweet elderly lady who is so happy for you no matter what movie youre seeing and the African American gentleman who always says God bless you or God has blessed you with a free small popcorn today. I havent seen him in a while; I hope he still works there. Those two individuals make the experience worth the outrageous prices for a matinee (25.40)

This theater is the best in San Diego hands down. This theater is beautiful. They work hard at keeping it clean, fun, friendly, and just a great place to see a movie alone, or with friends and family. The concessions stand is great and they have two. Alcohol and fancy food too. Really relaxing place. And first run and independent films galore. Kids movies too. I have been here many times and it never disappoints. Great staff and management. Always leave there with a nice feeling too. Well done Regal Edwards Rancho San Diego well done.

The complaint I have about this location is the seating. So many of the seats cushions are broken down and by the time you finish watching a movie your butt feels like its going to fall off. However one of the best things about this moviehouse is that you get to put your own butter on the popcorn.

Love this place. Typically not crowded, clean, with a good selection of snacks. Good rays right outside too so is perfect for having a meal either right before or after the movie. Favorite theater in San Diego by far.
