First time in this area and the museum was a big hit for me a lot of great history about the town military discount I paid three dollars

A well done and nicely presented history and timeline of Dunedin in the old train station.

You would think and you would try to be sure about the fact you love beer...until you step up those 4 brownish steps to get ice cream....in my favorite place to hang around...Dunedin, FL

Quaint museum well worth the admission fee. Thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of the Dunedin area. Will highly recommend to friends and family.

I didnt get to see all of it, but what I did see was great. There are life sized statues in front of the museum that are fun to pose with and take pictures.

Our group went to this amazing museum today. Vinny, our guide was excellent. The museum has recently been renovated. It is such a beautiful place to learn about the history of this area. I wish we had one in our area. Ill be back, I love this little town.

Very interesting history lessons disguised as beautiful displays and interactive models! The shoppe has gifts and snacks displayed in a way that is so interesting you could spend a lot of time just taking it all in. I highly recommend a visit here!

Fun and educational place the stall was helpful

This is a little gem downtown right on the bike trail and is very reasonably priced. I feel it is well laid out and even kept my 11 yr old interested.

Really nice people in the museum. Its very small but, gives a lot of great detail on the area. If your looking for something quick and informative I highly suggest it.

Very nice museum. Has just been remodeled. It is in the old train station. Not expensive at all. Has a very nice gift shop too. Highly recommend visiting. This is a great addition to downtown Dunedin one of our favorite places to visit.

What a beautiful little Museum! Not only is this Museum absolutely delightful, it is so close to all the other interesting things that are going on in this little town. This is a great place to have the museum soon as a showpiece to everything and even at night can be lit up and seen with all of its items. I found it to be a wonderful little place to cool off to In the Heat of Florida! I highly recommend this museum!

The Dunedin History Museum is a well-organized, well displayed trip through local history. And extremely inexpensive diversion, it is worth a brief stop. It has activities and displays that can engage all members of the family.

Full of authentic historical photos . We were in the nice museum more than an hour and did not see it all. Down town Dunedin right next to the bike path.

History is alive and well at the Dunedin Historical Museum. Exhibits display local heritage and much of Floridas history. For such a small museum, it offers a depth of historical significance that will surprise you

Great museum

Actually I did not have time to explore the recently re opened Museum. I was there for 2 hours on August 25, 2018 for a special talk about Tiki Gardens, one of the local road side attractions that was present in our area during the 1950s to mid 1985 period of time along the beaches in Pinellas County. Tiki Gardens was a great place for so many people to visit, have a meal, walk the gardens, enjoying buying trinkets, heading across the Street to Fishing Pier Kahiki that was purchased and named Kahiki by the owners Frank and Jo Byars in the 1960s. A gentleman by the name of Joe ran Pier Kahiki for the Byars during the 1970s, he lived down the street, and was a man who enjoyed his cigars, was a colorful figure to visit with, when walking or fishing on the Pier. Dunedin Museum is a terrific place to visit. I will be back to enjoy all the new displays about the history of Dunedin and other places in Pinellas County that are on exhibit in the Dunedin Historical Museum. I understand that going forward Dunedin Historical Museum will be bringing in other guest speakers to share with the community about some of the special places that have been in the local area during the past and the present.

Located next to the Pinellas Trail, this little depot-turned-museum offers visiting exhibits as well as well-appointed exhibits focused on local history. Visitors can learn about town founders J.O. Douglas and James Sumerville, who chose the name Dùn Èideann (the Scottish Gaelic word for Edinburgh) after Scottish families, many from Stirlingshire, settled there.
