Performed a small signing wedding ceremony with about 20 people. My business is Weddings by Cheryl Lynne. The surroundings were perfect for the couples photographs with the river and picnic area. Quiet and clean. This is also a historical place for African-Americans. Hope to perform other weddings here.

Really beautiful little park that the county recently re-did, right on Peachorchard Cove off of Bear Creek.There’s picnic tables and a fishing pier and a wood planked walkway all along the waterfront.Really nice.

The boat ramps are in good shape and there is a picnic area. Small park, close to home. Cant wait till May when I take the boat out from here.

Its a nice peaceful place you just want to kick back and relax

This is probably considered a hidden gem in the Turners Station area. If you are not from the area then you probably wouldnt consider checking it out. Its a beautiful park with with a perfect place to have a cook out. It offers a nice brick built grill and plenty of tables under a pavilion . But what makes this park stand out from the rest is its piers and fairly new boat ramp. The ramps are made of concrete and it excellent condition, the piers also have been recently renovated. Even though the ramps might not be in a upper class neighborhood you have nothing to worry about when parking your truck & trailer there because they do have someone who lives on the property and takes care of grounds. Plus every time Ive visited there, there has always been people around. Ive been going there for roughly 20 years now and I prefer it over boat ramps that charge fees or ramps that are in other parks around the area.

Its a good place to sit and relax. The view is nice and they have grills for people to cook out and spend the day there or have a party. Its a nice place.

Caught a good amount of white perch and a 4 pound catfish on Monday June 18th 2018 at 7:30ish am. I took it home and cleaned it and enjoyed sharing it with the family, it was delicious. This place is a nice tucked away spot to chill and fish with the family.

What a beautiful park

The park has lost much of its vitality after the passing of Mr. Sam Walker--former attendant. Mr Walker lived on the property of the park and his time-clock never stopped running. He always protected the park, made sure there were no fish cleaned on the picnic tables, called for maintenance of piers, etc, when needed. Today when you reserve the pavilion, you may have to go down early and do your own clean up of tables, grills, trash cans, etc. I have already advised my Family to rent the Multi-Purpose Center. instead. The boat launching facilities appear to be in good condition. Of course that has never been of much use to residents of Turner Station. The boat launch is free, and we must pay to rent the Pavilion and then do our own clean up. Time for some changes.
