Stansbury Park

Very nice park. They have a path that you can walk around the water. Nice and clean too. There is a large playground for kids to play on. There is also parking available.

Just a beautiful area, with nicely kept landscaping all around the lake, nice field for soccer, and baseball, and a basketball court.

Water, trees, benches, paths, trees water, nature. Would highly recommend any of those things. If you are reading this you should definitely go to the park. Its so much better than not going to the park. I say this because i went to the park. Have you gone to the park?

Great lil fishing spot always getting catches on Fishbrain app reported and surprising catches - Pike,Rock,Catfish good sizes, over legal sizes seems common. Park is pretty wellkept and boat ramps seems busy with boat trailer parking full most of the time. Nice playgrounds for kids, need more open picnic tables and couple piers would be nicer.

Nice park with a community garden, two ball fields, and parking in a cul-de-sac that leads to a T-shaped pier over a large circular pond adjacent to lynch point cove Creek area. At a glance, and with full trees, it is not immediately clear, but there is a paved walking path that circles the pond and offers plenty of shade and is much breezier. Met a lot of really nice residents while sitting on my blanket and fishing. Caught turtles, blue gill, sun fish, and there is channels. Great afternoon outside despite the 97 degree heat.

Stansbury Park was awesome as usual great place to go to walk around the lake or whatever you want to call it and just nice people there

Nice park to walk and enjoy the quiet, had a quarry and several outdoor activities to do.

I will give it a 2 star because my lil brother fell in easily. Make sure to keep your little ones safe! And also, watch out for the path with filled with trees through a valley because it is filled with flies and mosquitoes! take care!!!

Nice little park with a quarry for fishing, and a nice path all the way around the quarry for walking, biking, skateboarding, etc. Also has a small playground, and ball fields.

2 park areas including playgrounds, soccer and baseball fields as well as a basketball court. There are covered pavillion picnic areas and a quarry filled with fish and turtles surrounded by a medium difficulty paved walking path with shaded benches intermittently.

This is a very nice neighborhood park. There is a trout stocked quarry with a pier to fish off of. There is a half mile trail around the quarry for walking or jogging. They have a playground and a ballpark and tennis courts. You can also get a plot in the neighborhood garden that is also located inside the park!

Nice little park with a pond stocked with fish circled with a paved path and a small playground. Good for the locals to get the kids out of the house, usually crowded.

Very nice park with: Large open fields/multiple ball fields, 2 playgrounds, picnic pavilion with tables and grills. Theres a lake with a paved walkway all the way around as well as a nice size fishing pier. (Negative: One port-a-potty available that only seems to get cleaned out once a week... Yuck!)

This is a simple part not much in the provided facility department but rather a pleasing place for a short walk or fishing. Stansberry actually is a fresh water fishing quarry right next to a brackish water shed. Fishing is good for those who are extremely patient. Its a cast and let sit opposed to cast and reel style fishing. No water craft permitted but there is a nice T shaped pier with a lower floating stage on one end. The fish range from Sunny, Widemouth Bass, Perch, and seasonally stocked Rainbow Trout which most people aim to catch. Other then fishing it has a big field with a playground as I remember, there use to be a half pipe for skating/biking. The quarry is a half mile in circumference making it a excellent walk around it on a dirt path with enough trees to make a stimulating environment. There are several other parks close by within a half mile you should also check out two including Chesterwood, and Merritt Park.

Not a bad place at all. The water is pretty clean considering its in an urban area. Good for fishing as it has a pier and a lot of shoreline. You can catch carp, largemouth bass, crappie, chain pickerel, etc. Its also stocked with rainbow trout occasionally.You need a freshwater non-tidal license, and a trout stamp if you plan on fishing for front.

Quite place, good for fishing and walking your dog. Grass near the pond need trimming tho!

My little cousin had a soccer game there and it was a great place view is absolutely amazing. Neighborhood was excellent as well not very loud.

Lovely atmosphere. The stroll around the pond is worth the trip.

I grew up around here and only discovered this hidden gem last year. Its quiet and peaceful. Its great to walk or jog around the water, or you could go fishing. There are grills, a pavilion and picnic tables, a play ground and a tennis court. Its clean and safe.

I Love The Quarry nice place to take your dog for walk, go fishing, nice peaceful walk around the whole quarry (has trail/sidewalk) or just wanna little bit of you time! Its PERFECT

Its was a nice feild for our girls to play softball at but their bathrooms were honestly the worst public bathroom I have EVER been in!

One of the few good parts left in the Dundalk area. Great place to see waterfowl as well as fish. So glad the nearby Golf Course closed down with their horrible nets and lights.

Great place to walk bike ride, fish and walk dogs. Only draw back is you need a freshwater license to fish it. And as everybody knows it cost a fortune for a freshwater license in Maryland

Very quiet, peaceful park around a quarry

This park was very well laid out and kept in excellent condition!! We were there to have a memorial service for a sibling that had passed away this summer and it was the perfect place for this, as he spent a lot of time at this park as a young boy/man. Even though we had to deal with the rain, we were able to set up the pavilion the way we needed to and other people that were attending the park gave our party the respect and quiet that we needed. The locals of the area must have realized what we were doing and made every attempt not to disturb us. That was so considerate and polite and I wanted to say Thank you to the residents of the park area. The two slight issues that I had was one, the restroom building was unavailable (but the park did have spot-a-pots) and the handicap parking was not very close to the areas of activity. Maybe that could be looked into by management??

Nice place to bring the family fishing

The park is very nice but if youre thinking about walking your dog there beware!I have been there numerous times and theres usually some irresponsible dog owners letting their dog(s) run off lead.I stopped going months ago because of that.Today I decided to take my dog there. The same thing happened!!!!!My Pitbull is always on a lead and she doesnt like when a dog runs up on her.I yelled to the guy not to let his little dog run up to her and he didnt like it.I live close to the park but today is my last visit there!

Great place to take the kids to play on the playground, ride bikes around the quarry or fish. The sunset is beautiful in the fall reflecting off of the water.

Beautiful scenery and wildlife, friendly residents all around. A great place to meditate.

Its fine to take your kids for the playground and walk around the quarry. Be sure to bring hand sanitizer and bottled water as there is only a portable outhouse.
