The 2019 show was the third show in four years that Ive attended, and this year was by far the most disappointing. It feels like the airshow is now more focused on product vendors and selling food than displaying and educating people about aircraft and their use or history. The aerial demonstrations were good, but apart from maybe two aircraft, the static displays were unimpressive and poorly positioned for viewing. The KC-135, C-17, and many other aircraft werent even viewable up close on the ground. Even worse, several of the previously posted attractions were no-shows (such as the F-22, P-8 Poseidon and MiG-17). I am also disappointed that there were no booths for meeting and talking to veterans. This is something that even a smaller (but well organized) airshow like AirExpo at Flying Cloud Airport does very well with the opportunity to meet veterans from WWII through today. Paying the high ticket price to enter and then finding more food vendors and product booths than aircraft doesnt make me want to attend future shows.Additionally, the parking situation drastically declined in convenience this year. One of the easiest ways to get to and from the show was parking at Miller Hill Mall and riding the shuttle. That wasnt even available this year, so on-site parking was the only affordable option.Unless there are several big changes publicly announced to be coming for next year, it is unlikely I will be attending again and will encourage others not to do so as well.

Do not park in teal and take the shuttle. The way there was fine. The way back, we waited in line to get on a bus for over an hour. So much for upgraded parking. General parking was empty by the time we got on the bus. Airshow was awesome. F-35 is freaking amazing.

I had a blast. Performances were great and I got there a little early so I found a perfect spot for my seats. Parking was a mess but what do you expect. I will be back next year.

We spent over $200 for the Golden Flight Line seats. Linda told us that nobody is allowed to stand up during the performances and if people do and interfere with our ability to see, to let her know. During the Blue Angels performance, we werent able to see much of the performance due to everyone standing in our way, some individuals were quite belligerent. We informed Linda and all she said was, There is nothing I can do about it. We spent a lot of money on those seats and could barely see a thing which is ridiculous.

Awesome place for seeing things you don’t see every day. Plus they have beer. And sweet jets!

It was a great air show, accept the seating could have been better. When I selected tickets, I thought the seating was like stadium seating, so you sat a little above the person in front of you. I felt sorry for the kids. When people stood, kids could not see.

Paid for upgraded orange lot parking because we had kids, chairs, and a wagon and we are glad we did! This was our first airshow and it was pretty good. Kids (2 and 6) had a good time. Plenty of places to set up chairs with just general admission tickets. The f-35 and B-17 was the family favorites and the Blue Angels were meh but fun to say we have seen um. Only small complaints would be a bit better selection of food and traffic when leaving is bad. Why the city of Duluth has no police officers controlling traffic at the lights for 30 min for a show the brings 10 million $$$ to the local economy is beyond me?

I would give it 2 stars. The place was difficult to find. The Google address was wrong, the address on the official website was wrong, the airport location had no signs where the event parking is (but numerous entrences did point out that it wasnt the one). For someone from our of town, I wont be going there again. The stands and vendors were medicore. The performances were just ok (a part from f35).

They can manage morning parking well, but when it came to leaving, it was a mess. Terrible time just trying to get out of the event. They should have had someone help conduct the traffic. Honestly, never going again. Who makes an event with one exit only???
