We booked Pro Sound and Lights for our Halloween themed wedding. The website was user friendly and we appreciated the detailed song list and itinerary functions.DJ Cody was so great! He contacted us prior to the event to go through the details and was so friendly and accommodating. At the event, Cody kept us on track with our requested itinerary and want the extra mile to throw us a great dance party.

The equipment, promptness and lighting was perfect. The experienced DJ to run the wedding according to the timeline I provided that I had paid for was a first timer, quiet and pulled me away to run my own wedding :( I wasnt impressed

It was terrible!!! Didnt play any of my songs I had put on my list!!! Didnt get involved on the dance floor like they said they would!!! For what we paid it was very disappointing!!!

I couldnt be happier with our choice in a DJ company. From the emails, to the phone calls, to meeting our DJ, everybody at Pro Sound & Light Show has made me feel comfortable and confident from day one. We are SO fortunate to have had Parker as our DJ at our wedding reception. Our wedding was a lot of doing it ourselves, so to have Parker jump in and take the reigns- that was a huge relief to me! He was outstanding!!! He is the reason I felt so calm and was able to have so much fun at our reception, because I knew he was taking care of everything! If I were to go up to him and say, hey maybe you want to announce this, or did you know that this vendor forgot this, he was already on top of it! It was such a huge relief to be able to trust in him and know that we were in good hands! That is exactly what a bride needs after months and months of wedding planning!

Pro Sound & Light knocked it out of the park on our wedding day! We traveled from out of state to Duluth, MN for our wedding and LOVED all of the options offered in your DJ Packages. Rather than going to multiple vendors for things like up lighting, we could have it all in one place! Our DJ Sam was absolutely amazing! He involved the guests from the second they came in to the time they left. I recommend him to anyone in search of an amazing DJ!! THANK YOU AGAIN!

Our DJ, Julia, was AMAZING! She was prompt to show up and did a great job sound checking my father who was singing and playing the guitar during our ceremony. We changed to an indoor wedding at the last minute and she has no problem adjusting and working on the fly. She was interactive with the guests, had fun activities, and kept everyone on the dance floor until the very last song! I am still receiving compliments on how awesome Julia was. Great job.

DJs really make or break your wedding dance, so I wanted to make sure we had a good DJ, Nick far exceeded our expectations. He knew exactly what to do and when and I didnt have to worry about a thing! I am very impressed with the service we got, and it was very affordable! I was concerned with them being so far away (approx. 5 hr drive) but they only charged a small fee to come out to the middle of nowhere where our wedding was! Another neat thing they offered was insurance, if something happened last minute to the DJ lined up for our wedding, they had someone on standby and they also came with extra equipment in case something failed. That eased my mind so much!

From our first conversation with Mike at Pro Sound all of our expectations were exceeded. Our DJ went far above and beyond what we thought was required for him and what I expected. He was the life of the party and we received many comments from our guests asking how we found the DJ and telling us we had the best wedding DJ they had ever seen. The music selection was great, the up lighting was set up perfectly to highlight decorations in the room, and the DJ worked with us continually during our wedding reception to make sure we were getting everything we wanted out of him.

Nick was perfect for us! He was young, energetic, had a great attitude (and a great time!) and truly wanted it to be all about us! Next time I need a DJ, or I know anyone else who does, were coming right back! My new husband and I could not have had a better time. The price ranges are fantastic and Pro Sound and Light really made sure we got everything we wanted and more. Thank you for everything, the planning tools and amazing staff were a huge help!

Mike was an incredible DJ. We got so many wonderful comments from our guests on how fun he was and how great the music selection was. He made great recommendations for fun games to get our guests engaged, which were a huge hit. He listened to our music requests before and during the event. He really made the atmosphere incredibly fun. Our dance floor was full the whole night. We couldnt have asked for anything better!

Hiring Pro Sound and light was truly one of the best decisions we made during our entire wedding planning process. DJ Aaron was absolutely amazing. He was professional, friendly, so great at keeping the crowd happy, engaged and dancing. As the father of the bride I could not be happier with Aarons work at the reception. I lost count of the number of people who came up to me to let me know that this was, by far, the best wedding they had ever attended. He played the emotions of the crowd like a fine orchestra conductor. He had everyone crying at one moment and then up dancing widely the next. Most important, he listened to our daughter and made sure the reception followed her wishes and design. It was a magical evening and that was due, in very large part, to the work of Aaron and his assistant. Very well done!

Our DJ Mike was amazing. He was very friendly and detail-oriented during our initial phone interview. He arrived early to set up, ran the music and sound for our ceremony, which was perfect and flawless. During dinner, he was more than a DJ, he was an event coordinator. He helped with our slideshow, brought us drinks, helped keep the timeline moving, it was above and beyond. Then when it was time for the dance, he ROCKED IT! He had unique games and perfect segways into the next parts of the night. Our dance floor was packed all night long, and the venue owners said they had never had that great of a party. I swear there were multiple times that I was on my way to request a song, and he played it. He was JUST AMAZING! We got so many compliments on how awesome the DJ was. I think he would have played all night long, and didnt stop until we told him to. Mike is the BEST, and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, interactive, thoughtful, and professional DJ.

My fiancee and I were debating whether or not to get a DJ because of the cost but after hiring Josh from Pro Light and Sound, we are so happy we did. Josh was prompt, accessible and played a music selection that kept older family members and young friends on the dance floor from the beginning of the reception to the end. I got engaged in March of 2011 and my wedding took place on January 4th, 2014...we had a long engagement which meant I put a LOT of thought into what we for the day. Being 28 years old I have been to countless weddings over the past few years and the primary thing I took away from all of them was that I wanted my guests to be entertained. Yes our wedding was of course for us, but the party and celebration is for the guests. I have traveled to out of town weddings, spent money on gas, hotel rooms, and presents, only to get to the reception and be bored out of my mind wishing I would have just mailed the couple a check. My now-husband and I were willing to put a good portion of our budget towards a DJ who was going to keep our guests entertained and that’s exactly what we got. Working with Pro-Sound was a good fit from the start. Before I booked them, if I had questions I called, emailed, chatted via the website and talked to the SAME person each time – that’s HUGE for customer service. I never felt like I was talking to a used car salesmen trying to sell me their services.Our wedding reception itself was pretty much the best reception ever… at least that’s what we were told . Our DJ Aaron and his assistant were so spot-on the entire night with reading our guests – he had everyone crying one minute and then laughing and dancing the next. Our dance floor was packed the entire night…literally from start to end. My 80-year-old grandparents were dancing until 11pm!! I think the best part of my night was seeing how happy my parents were and watching them dance together until the end. It was beautiful. I honestly have never ever been to a more fun wedding reception…and I’m not just saying that because it was my own!One last note…if anyone is reading this and they’re trying to decide between packages and the different ad-ons, one word of advice is to get the LOVE STORY!! The story of how my husband and I met is so special, to more people than just the two of us, and hearing that story being told to all of our guests was truly amazing. You will not regret getting the love story. If you do, make sure someone is there to record it! You’ll regret not capturing the two of you looking into each other’s eyes, crying and laughing, while your own personal love story is being shared.I would recommend Pro-Sound to every single person I know. As mother of the groom, I requested a song for the mother-son dance that most people hadnt heard of. It wasnt a problem for Pro Sound to find the song and be able to play it for the wedding. They were very positive and accommodating of the requests at the wedding dance itself, too. I would recommend them!

I was recently at a wedding and I couldnt have been more disappointed in mike, the dj from here Granted there wasnt a ton of people at this reception; but my fiancé, the groom, the grooms best friend and myself were the only ones dancing. My fiancé went to request a song and the dj snapped at him telling him that he refused to play any slow songs until the dollar dance. As the night continued he made numerous rude comments to the guests trying to be funny I assume but came off as arrogant, and pretty much making it seem like he didnt want to be there. I was very disappointed because it really put a damper on the mood of the reception for my family and I.
