This place is fantastic. The staff is amazing. They spent time explaining the game and controls. We were first timers and we will be coming back. I wish I could give them more stars.

If there was any place that I would want to go to, it would be this place. The staff is really nice and the fact that you can store hours that you dont use is great. They have a good variety of different games to play and endless possibility. This is a must go place.

The headsets were all sweaty from other people, we lost time because of system issues and the booger eating dork working had no clue on how to get the issue resolved besides turning it off and on.I usually dont complain, but obviously all of the previous reviews are employees or the owners because our experience was anything but enjoyable.I think it could be a good experience and fun, they just need better training and learn some customer service skills.

A bit pricey to play a game but when you consider thr equipment cost etc it is reasonable. Game selection becomes limited quickly when you have more than 2 people and when you are have different skill levels. I would like more larger group co-op.

I was skeptical of whether or not i would enjoy my experience with virtual reality, but the patient and knowledgeable staff made my first real experience fantastic. By the time our hour was up we were fully immersed and I never would have guessed that our time had passed already! Very cool.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the area was clean. They should be more clear on instructions for games, however. Games range from easy to hard; some being easy for kids to play.

Super overpriced (Which is why they are closing down). If i wanted to play VR so bad I could buy my own VR headset and some games that would be the equivalent of like 3 hours at VRcade. In my opinion? Ripoff. Not to mention the employee named Luke is constantly vaping and acts like hes being sneaky.

Lots of fun and interesting games. Came with a youth group and by the end of our time they wanted to stay and play more. Theyre also developing their own game, which is pretty cool.

Pretty cool experience but now with all of the virtual reality that you can buy for your home its not as unique as it once was. I went there with my seven-year-old and they didnt spend much time explaining the controls to him. So I was in the other room using our time that we paid for to try to explain to him what to do. I thought it was a little over priced as well. We have virtual reality for our Play Station now and it is much better having it in our home. And honestly the price has come down enough where you make up for it by not paying to go to the VRcade.

I loved my experience I was there for a birthday party and I recommend Arizona Sunshine. We played that the whole time.

Very fun date night activity, they can link you up to play on teams with voice chat. Depending on the game you might even work up a sweat. Very knowledgeable staff. They know all the games and controls very well. The HTC Vive headsets worked perfectly. This place is also great for older kids.

Its definitely something that will mess with your sense of balance!!! I did the Google Street view so mine wasnt as exciting as the other games. Everyone else had fun!

Took 3 kids there while visiting Dubuque. Definitely a hit with the kids. Even the adults had fun. 30 minutes went fast when you are having a blast.

This place is a great place to bring your kids. My son and I have visited on many occasions to play co-op style VR games and have had a blast Everytime. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.

This was much more fun that I expected. It doesnt look like much from the outside, or even when you go in, but trust me, its a really cool experience, especially for a first time VR player like me.

I spend almost my life savings there because its so expensive however the price is worth it and becoming a lifetime member truly does have its perks you could rack up hours like the tanning salon or use them as you buy them. Do not buy 30 minutes as it is too short of a true experience. Youll want to buy at least 1 hour. Sure you could buy an HTC Vive and never have to spend another dime at this place, but lets be honest. Wouldnt it be nice to have at least one functional arcade in Dubuque, the age of arcades is dying as the video games come to your house in the form of a console or even your own computer. As a gamer, I feel it is important to preserve the arcades for at least another 100 years. Because nothing says old school like an arcade or a VRcade for that matter.

The employees are the coolest guys around. 15/10 would go again.
