My luck 1St time there and is a flippin shootout inside the club. After the bullits started flying so did I. Was told some got shot 2 times. You will never see me there again, we never even got checked on the way in. Not a good look on Detroit

Great atmosphere, its like two clubs in one. On one side the DJs playing House music or throwback jams, then on the other side of the club the DJs spinning something completely different. In the summertime you can go out on the patio and theres a completely different DJ playing different music. I love it theres something for everyone.

This is the legitimately one of the most mediocre table experiences I’ve ever had. I visited some university friends that live in Michigan and we picked this place based on popularity of online reviews. Booked a table in advance, showed up on time. Host led us to the wrong table (where another group was already seated) and no employee came to rectify until we asked a bouncer. Then, 35 minutes went by until the server came to take our order. Another 20 minutes went by until we got our bottles. This place wouldn’t last more than a month in a major metropolitan area. Save your time.

Trash place. Whoever promotes here needs to sit tf down! Flyer said everyone comes in free and they still charged us 20$It’s not just that, we reserved a booth and when we got there they said they were sold out. Do yourself a favor and go to royal oak or Ferndale and you’ll have a better time. Also security needs to stop getting all tough just because they got some flash lights

My birthday is Sunday September 8th. I booked 2 booths side by side and was paying for 6 bottles of champagne. I got a room at MGM for that weekend for my birthday and i just received a texted saying my booths were sold already. I feel like the guy sold them to someone he/she may know and booted me out. I had family and friends coming and plenty of co-workers from Chrysler. I’m highly upset and now my birthday is ruined. Now you missed out on thousands of dollars. I felt that was very unprofessional and i love coming to this club now you get 2 thumbs down from me and I’m telling everyone i know not to come here.

My friends and I tried to go for Latin night. All of us latino. We were turned down for one person having a hat. No compromise, nothing. We could hear the music outside, not latin. Just hip hop. Bottom line... horrible customer service.

I went there with a friend on Saturday. We got there late to a friend’s bday celebration, around 12. The bouncer was so rude and unhelpful. Even though, I told him the name of our host, he insisted that we weren’t on the list and did not even make an effort to help or verify. Though I had written confirmation and our friend was willing to vouch, he made no effort. Yes, she should have made sure we were on the “list,” but a little effort and professionalism could have prevented disappointing customers. He attempted to charge us $20 at the door.... which is idiotic.... the club should cost less as the night wears on, not more. Long story short, we did not get to attend our friend’s celebration, and she was disappointed all because of one bouncer’s power trip, and poor customer service.TLDR: Poor customer service, costs more than it’s worth. Expensive drinks.

Very disappointed!!!I give a one star just because I cant give cero stars... Saturday night is advertised as Salsa Bachata night, but the DJ plays anything else except Salsa or Bachata. The exception was the live band. They did a good job. And, please dont go to this place if youre a dancer. Most people go there to get drunk and no one knows how to dance..

Honestly this is my first review ever. I’m just so overwhelmed with the disaster that has happened tonight. At the end of the night I went to get my coat from the coat check, I had gave them 2 tickets. First ticket was my wife’s jacket and second was mine but they gave my coat away to some random person that had NO TICKET and had said they described my CANADA GOOSE coat. My wife was furious because she had gotten me that coat for Christmas. I really don’t understand how if someone says they lost their ticket they should wait until the end of the night until all the coats clear out and if they claim that in the end it’s their coat then it’ll be that owners. Not only did they mishandle my coat, my car keys and my apartment key were in my coat. So that being said I had to wait outside in 22 degree weather with just a T-shirt on for 30 mins until my friend came to pick me up. Then I had to call maintenance and pay the guy a $25 fee to have them come open my door to get inside my apartment. I honestly have never wrote a review at all but it clearly was such a bad incident that occurred. I’m pretty sure that the person that took off with my CANADA GOOSE coat will not return it. I’m definitely looking forward to how this will be handled.

Extremely Unsafe! A young lady was walking past a group of men last night and she was groped! When she told the man that groped her no he just slapped fire out of her! No one in the club intervened, not security, a bouncer or any man in the club. This was a horrible situation that no woman she be put in. I was extremely offended and will make sure to tell any young to not go there without protection!

Regardless of all the bad reviews, this place is one of the better spots in detroit.

All the security was extremely rude, when checking my ID the guy looked me up and down in disgust. I was dressed nice and I was friendly he was trying to make me feel uncomfortable and intimidate me why ? I’m not sure. First the club wasn’t even packed or full somewhere else would have been more fun. If my friends weren’t already there I would have never spend a dime at this place.

We paid $70 4 days in advance to get in and they didnt let us in and didnt give us our money back. They gave us no explanation for not letting us in. Dont go to this place, they are con artists. They made 130 plus people wait outside after buying tickets and didnt let them in. Dont go here.

Staff is awful security checked our Ids 3x made us walk around to the correct line. Ive never been there before so I had no idea which line is which, they never specified so they keepet moving us..which in the end doesnt really matter because VIP or not they made everyone wait the same amount of time. Music was ok. First and last Im going here, the 7 other people that where with me agree!!!!

This club was the worst club I have EVER experienced in my entire life. They made us wait out in the absolute freezing cold, although we had $60.00 tickets that we bought for New Year’s Eve. I have been to clubs in many different cities and states and this had to be the absolute worst.....I cannot understand how their management and organization could have been so horrible. I hope this club either closes or gets their organization together sometime soon so others don’t have to suffer through the same inconvenience and freezing cold temperatures that we did.

Ive been there before and had a great time, but last weekend my friend planned a bday party there. They reserved a booth for us and we were a group of 30. Only half of our group got in without cover (mind you we ordered four bottles). Someone tell me why they needed so much money from us. Im still furious with how things were taken care of. I dont recommend this venue to any big party. If youre less than 15 it might be worth it. We felt like we were ripped off, and so well be sticking to the other fun clubs weve been celebrating at. DO NOT come here if youre planning on getting a booth somewhere for a party of 10 + because they will rip you off. And to top it all off everyone who worked there that night had a stick up their ass, and I was pouring my own drinks all night at the booth. The service was garbage.

I highly recommend this club. Not only are the staff and security very professional, this is a club Id recommend out of State folk come visit... Always a good time and experience.

Is it A awesome place for all age, I have an awesome time and the music was awesome. Its by time that someone brings Latin night dancing closer to home. Im glad that there is something close to home finally.I love love love the confetti and The cold smok Air coming down OMG its very exciting and everybody screaming.PS. Sound system is good and they pull in decent talent. Crowd leaves something to be desired as its reminiscent of douchebag bars in Royal Oak. This obviously changes if you have a headliner like Richie Hawtin that pulls in the right crowd. Regardless, its tough to find a better spot in quality of sound and light show.

Event attended: Cash CashPlenty of beautiful people of all colours and sizes, decent venue, great bartenders, great lighting design, the high ceiling makes the place seem very open, fantasticly clean bathrooms. I had a really great night overall!Where it falls short: I ordered tickets, yet my name was not on the will call list. This, on top of other minor grievances, portray their disorganisation. Also they boast on their website our unrivaled audio-visual experience. The wall projections showed the same 2 projections all bloody night. The floors were really sticky at the beginning of the night. Most of these are really minor and picky, but if you boast on your website Nightlife perfected. Im gonna get picky.

If you like clubs in general then im sure youll like this place. The dance floor was fun but the floor was covered in drinks everywhere and one of my friends fell.

Worst club experience I have ever had in my life. Why make people spend $50 to $70 bucks to make them stay out in the freezing cold? I got my ankle sprained from everyone pushing and shoving trying to get in and and security pushing back. I left limping and in pain. Security and other staff were extremely rude as well. Annex night club NYE event was poorly planned, poorly staffed, and poorly executed. Definitely an untrustworthy club!

Awful. Came here for a birthday party yesterday, Saturday.If youre from a big city then you may not like this place either.-Fairly small-Terrible music. DJ would change the song every min. Almost like he was trying to find the right song for the past 2-3 hours. So you really cant dance without stopping every min.-Absolutely disgusting sticky floor. Spilled drinks every where!-Zero ventilation. It was so muggy inside. Even when youre not on the small dancefloor.-Age range was 21-40s last night.-And even if you reserve a booth with a few bottles, they wont serve you your bottles until 12a. So they expect you to pay for drinks until then.

I had my party there this past March 23rd, I’m only giving 2 stars because I did like the crowd and the Dj, BUT THATS IT!!! Booths were paid for in advance... I WAS TOLD UP FRONT I COULD PAY FOR MY BOTTLES IN CASH...they asked for my drivers license and credit card, only to make sure I didn’t run off without paying.. I asked what for ?? If im paying in cash for everything ? THEY NEVER EVER DISCLOSED MY CARD WOULD BE RAN AND Money HELD...AS A MATTER OF FACT THEY SAID IT WOULDNT BE RAN OR money HELD! AFTER I ALREADY PAID CASH FOR ALL OF MY BOTTLES!!!! THEY DID!! When I finally contacted the owner they told me I would need to handle it myself they could not complete the request of removing the hold on my card, I would need to allow it to release on its own. Please do not allow them to take your card if you plan to pay cash because they lie and do not disclose all that is going to happen!!!!!

Everything was medicore until 2:00. Then Marissa (bartender) decided that all of the people who were so generously tipping her were the biggest pain in her ass. She began yelling at everyone to leave, and telling my friends and I she was going to have bouncers escort us out because it was closing time. Must have been her first day, because Ive never been in a club where everyone left at 2:00 promptly. When I asked her if it was her first day, she yelled more. Maybe she was having a bad day. I try not to judge

They kicked me out because someGuys was smoking three sigs and he pushed me on the floor and he called the secretary to take me out because he was a fire hazard. That’s ok. Never going there again!

The DJs were bomb! But the guys there were very agressive and handsy which was super annoying.

R & B Tuesday is a great atmosphere.

We chose Annex for a friends Bachelorette Party this past Saturday and we had amazing service. We had a few VIP tables and bottle service and we were very well taken care of by all of the staff. Special shoutout to Brian Jeffries and Craig Jelenik for making our evening so amazing and fun. We definitely had the red carpet treatment. This was not my first time to Annex, every single time I visit this club, I am always treated like a queen. More people should chose this place to spend their weekends. Plenty of table space, seating, room to dance, and the best part about it was that we didnt have to wait long for drinks. Definitely will be back for our next special event. Thank you again to the amazing staff who took such good care of us!
