We played mini-golf. The layout is good. However, it looks like there has been no maintenance in quite some time (years). Stairs are deteriorating, debris (limbs, sticks, etc.) is all over the stairs, the course, etc. The false turf on the course is ripped, and the holes are filled with water and debris. We had to remove two large branches from the walkway to get to the next hole. We wont be back.

We really enjoyed this place! We went today which was a little cool and cloudy. But there were absolutely no lines. The slides were very fun and although we didnt eat, it seemed like they had lots of options. Also, a very large parking lot. Some of the slides were closed due to the damage from the hurricane, but thats perfectly understandable. It was a little bit on the pricier side, but I think it was worth it. Some of the employees didnt seem like they wanted to be there, but thats almost anywhere these days!

Appears to have once been a wonderful course. Due to neglect and complete and utter lack of interest in the public’s perception, it has turned into the worst course I have ever visited. Wish I had taken more photos of all the broken down water features, weeds growing out of cups, molded greens, cups full of water. An abandoned course would probably be in just as good of shape or better. It’s truly sad with just a bit of effort it could be a wonderful course again. Unless ownership does something, don’t waste your time or money.

Took my 3 and 5 yo here during our beach vacation. They had the best time! The place was clean and well maintained and we felt like the ticket price was well worth the experience; we were there for 6 hours and our kids didnt want to leave. There was plenty for them to do. We were impressed with the apparent culture of safety. The lifeguards were very attentive and appeared well trained. We would definitely go back!

We have been coming here for years and have always had a great time, until this year. We won’t be back. Paid almost $50 per person entry, plus $150 for a cabana. I don’t know if it’s money, staffing, or COVID but this place has gone down hill! They are supposed to open at 10:00, we were third in line to get in and waited 30 minutes until 10:30 before they opened. No explanation at all. When asked we were told it was the weather but it had rained earlier and stopped. No one is in charge, no one knows what is going on. Once they opened we went to the cabana waiting area, followed by 3 other families shortly thereafter. We waited there another 10 minutes with no one helping us. Finally a staff member came over and took the family that came in after us to their cabana as we continued to wait. We had to ask a second time when we were going to go to the cabana and were told they had called for someone. We finally were escorted to the cabana at almost 11:00!!! To say it was disgusting is an understatement. The chairs were gross and there was trash all along the sides. Id love to post pictures but I’m not a “local guide” so i guess i can’t. When a staffer came by to leave our lunch order form I asked for the chairs to at least be cleaned. He said most people just put their towel over it! For $150????? Someone came by later to “disinfect” the chairs but said they could be cleaned. Very disappointing for what we paid. This used to be a place we looked forward to coming to. If you can’t keep up then close, but charging people for this is robbery.

Im only giving it a 2 due to COVID, not totally the business itself. This place is literally for the kids. Kids having a BLAST!! However. no social distancing taking place. In this instance its more up to the parents to make it happen but it was not happening. Not really a place for the big kid adult. STAFF - Great staff! There was a young lady who was helpful and polite. She showed she really cares for her customers experience. Ill find my receipt to look for her name and list it. They have lockers for a small fee. If you can, wear beach shoes because they wont let you ride with flip flops on. Youll have to leave them at the top of the slide and go back and get them. Cannot bring in outdoor food or drinks. They do have all types of foods. Pepsi products (yayyy), and aluminum bottle beers. Price for 2 adults was $104. They provide military discounts. Parking $5. You are able to leave and re-enter. They staff will put a stamp on your hand.

Had a really nice time here on a season pass, no long lines except for the food court, which could be improved. Hopefully they will at some point, get everything up and running. The place feels like its short on cash. Maintenance is hurting and it appears to have been in decline for a few years. Not all rides are open because of a shortage of lifeguards, says employees. Im pretty sure that is what they were told to say, but I think its a money crunch. I wish management the best in turning it into a viable park. In the meantime, support the park and enjoy your visit.

I normally go to Big Kahunas every summer, but todays visit was horrible! After spending about $80 in admission, $5 for parking, and $12 on a locker rental, we were expecting a fun afternoon. My husband and I were shocked to find out that most of the slides/attractions were closed! This place isnt all that big to begin with, so when you pay such a hefty admission, one would expect to take full advantage of the parks attractions. Either open the water park fully or dont open it at all. If people are worried about social distancing from the pandemic, then dont go to a water park! Admission should be half priced if half the rides are closed, and parking should be free!A lot of things need a good cleaning/upgrade as well. Most of the tubes were too flat to use, and alot of their handles were broken off. The lockers look like theyve never been cleaned. The curtains in the changing stalls were too short, so you are exposed. There were hangers, fire ants, stickers, and trash littering the bathrooms and changing areas as well. The floors in the lazy rivers and wave pools are extremely rough and chipped up. The little brown stone building where the Hammerhead slides are smells like sewage and had garbage all over the place. Again, with such high admission, cleanliness where people are swimming should be a given! Also, the concrete and steps get SUPER HOT. There really should be sprinkler systems or workers spraying the walking paths/stairs every so often so people dont burn their feet waiting/walking. Big Kahunas used to be nice little park, and now its just a falling apart rip-off.

This place is our second home every summer, and the season passes are such a great deal! Theyve got so many fun spots for kids at literally every age. My son has been here every summer since he was a month old, and theres always something for him. There are fun slides for the adults as well, and two lazy rivers are a huge plus in my book. If you want to wear your kids out well and make fun memories, this is definitely the place to do it!

They kept telling us 30 more minutes...... 3 hours later they sent an announcement saying “the park is closed due to weather conditions” WHEN IT WAS HOT AND SUNNY!!!!!!!!! And they didn’t want to give our money back!!! But after 45 min we finally got our money back.

We honestly could not have been happier with our trip. We were invited as guests with season pass holders, and I was surprised at the difference it made. The line would have taken an hour alone, otherwise. The pools were clean, adequate staff, helpful. This water park is average at best. There is nothing unique or different about this water park that you can’t find in any other state. Plus, it’s WAY over priced. It cost $150 for a family of 4 to just enter the park. It cost another $150 for a private cabana... which wasn’t private, wasn’t a cabana and didn’t offer anything special that you couldn’t just have by sitting in a public area. Most other water parks also offer 4 meals that is included with the $150 price for the cabana... but not this place. We spent an additional $80 for 4 burgers with fries and a drink. We had to ask for our waiter to wait on us and the only time we saw him was when he delivered our food. On top of all of this... there are 8 slides that are currently closed due to COVID-19... but we purchased our tickets in advance and didn’t know this until we showed up to the park. The icing on the cake was when they had some poor teenager standing at the exit... trying to collect $5 from every car for the pleasure of being able to park in their dirt parking lot. For the record, I didn’t stop or roll down my window... I just kept driving out. After a nearly $400 afternoon... there was no way in hell I was going to give them an extra $5 bucks for parking.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME AT THIS WATER PARK!

My family and I went here to play mini golf and the place looked a bit rundown. The course was reasonable, there was concrete for a couple of of the holes. The reason I gave this attraction two stars was because of the music selection... II came here with my parents and all of us agreed that we where unsatisfied with the music . There was cursing right and left and it was all rap music. If we came here with friends, we would be embarrassed of the music selection.

I always thought that it was way too small to be worth the price but I thought that what i saw from the road was the whole park. There is a whole other section behind the front part of the park that i never knew existed before actually going there. Being from an area that has a huge WhiteWater near by i can say that this park is better. It does lack many of the big rides but has all the rides a family would want. The kids all love this place more than the beach. Lots of slides that younger kids would like and none of the crazy lines that come with somewhere like WhiteWater. Food and drink are going to be pricey like any other theme park and you cannot bring in food or drinks. Got to get their early if you want to reserve a couple of chairs in the shade. All around very fun place for families with young kids.

Still a good time....but it was $350 when we factored in parking for 7 of us for about 3 and half hours of fun, just to give you other potential visitors a heads up. Food is overpriced, as to be expected, I guess. (It was $22ish for 2 pieces of pizza and 2 beers.)Lifeguards could use some lessons in hospitality. Literally everyone we talked to was rude and acted like they didnt want to be there. The little boy that found it appropriate to dump my fiancee out of the tube when she was trying to get out should probably not be a lifeguard....maybe put him at the parking exit booth. Ive been visiting this place since 2011 ever since I got first stationed here while serving in the Army. Now I got kids (7, 4 and 1 year old) and family myself, so I take them there at least 2 each summer. Its nicely setup and fun place to spend time. However, since mid summer of 2019 we havent gone back there. The reason we didnt go back there since 2019 summer is because after our last visit both of my kids got sick. They both had high fevers on the same evening after our visit. We had to take them both to ER to make sure that there was nothing major. Luckily it was just a stomach flu. Were told that kids probably ended up accidentally drinking that water while they were swimming in their big pool. Later I read on internet about Big Kahunas having issues with their water quality and them being warned by Department of Health. Since then we havent gone back there.

Went late July 2020.Disappointed that over half the park was closed. They say they were operating at reduced capacity but I think reduced capacity simply translated into we are going to close the entire rear of the park. The patrons themselves were not practicing social distancing at all anyways. It was for no discernable reason that so many of these slides were closed as you could clearly see the water running through them. Their way of marking these areas off too was so sloppy and unprofessional with just yellow caution tape thrown everywhere. The park is also just not in great shape which is shocking considering they literally had months to touch it up during the lockdown. Painting needed, leaky slides, broken effects.

Season passes make it affordable to visit multiple times. Just an FYI the stone walk paths are hot on the bottom of your feet!!! There are a lot of stairs too, if stairs bother you take some something before you come and when you leave to help with inflammation (not a DR at all.. just saying). Currently my youngest is too big for the kiddie pools and slides (they dont hold his interest, hes definitely a dare devil), and too small for the Big rides, but dont worry there are some rides for him now that hes at least 42 inches tall.. Just want a bottle of Water...that is $3.

Great place to spend the day with the family. The park is pretty big so expect to do a lot of walking. The kiddie areas are great and they allow kids with life jackets on a lot of the slides. My 4 year-old loved that he could go down some of the same slides as his big sisters. I HIGHLY recommend renting a cabana. You have your own personal space and a cabana attendant that will bring you food and drinks (food and drinks not included). You also get a personal safe, table with chairs, and a chaise lounge chair. Its not cheap, so go early, get a cabana and spend the whole day at the park.

Great place to bring your family! We had a blast. I recommend getting the season passes because you pay that justbfor one trip just about. We even went to the Halloween horror fest that they did this year and we got in free with our passes and it was awesome especially for their first year! We will definitely be getting passes next season

Kids have fun. However, the park could be cleaner. Food is just ok for the price you pay

A little on the small cramped side. We had issues with the shoots leading into the lazy river getting stuck and not moving. We had fun overall, but probably wont be back.

We had a wonderful time with our 4 & 6 year old.The park is sprawling, with plenty of attractions, is well kept, and clean.Only downside, you really need to study a map to find your way around and from attraction to attraction.

Some of the stuff was closed, but if more was open, then this review would be 5 stars, but 4 is good

We bought tickets online to save a few dollars since there was 13 of us. The website says all attractions are open. When we arrived, half the part was closed. I asked an employee and they told me it changed each day. I mentioned the website saying all rides were open and she told me they don’t use the website to update information to people. Seems pretty dumb to state one thing on the website and it not be true. The only sign we saw in person about rides closed was as we left. I would not have payed for full price tickets for a park half closed.

I love how much fun we have every year except this year. There werent enough tubes for everyone which hasnt ever happened before. It was nearly impossible to even get one so I wasnt able to ride a quarter of the rides and just swam in the lazy river instead of floating. I absolutely LOVE the staff though. They are always amazing.

Most of the park is shut down, I assume because covid19, which kinda sucks because your still paying full price for half the park just to be shutdown. We still had fun with what was open though.

The water park is fun and the life guards are helpful and knowledgeable. BUT THE customer service at the food stations are garbage they are rude and have attitudes out of this world! Not onky was my husband and I treated as if we didnt exist. As we were leaving another coustmer was very upset how poor hers service was. Sad thing is its been like that for years. For the prices you have to pay for food and beverages the people serving should have a decent attitude.
